Impeccable Pre-Arrival Coordination Before our arrival, the team remained in constant communication and handled every detail with precision. They arranged private transfers to and from the airport and provided us with a dedicated driver who stayed with us throughout the entire week. As a family of five traveling with children ages 6, 7, and 11, having reliable and comfortable transportation made our experience effortless. Expertly Crafted Itinerary Every day of our trip was beautifully curated. The team coordinated an incredible lineup of adventures, including: White-water rafting Snorkeling ATV adventures Zip-lining through the Costa Rican jungle Horseback riding through breathtaking landscapes They also coordinated directly with the spa to ensure we enjoyed daily treatments, giving us the perfect balance of excitement and relaxation. Thoughtful 40th Birthday Surprise - One of the most memorable moments of our stay was the extraordinary effort the Art Villas team put into celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday. While we were away horseback riding, they transformed our villa into a beautiful celebration space — complete with: Fresh flowers Candles Decorative vases A birthday banner Festive balloons Walking back into the villa to see the surprise was magical. It was personal, thoughtful, and executed with such care. Housekeeping & Daily Comfort Art Villas normally provides housekeeping every third day, but for a small fee they offered daily cleaning, which was absolutely worth it — especially for a family of five traveling with young children. The housekeeping team was outstanding. They not only kept the villa immaculate but also handled all of our laundry needs, making our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. The Villa Experience - The villa itself is breathtaking — a masterpiece of modern architecture and luxurious design perfectly blended with the surrounding jungle. Every detail, from the open-air spaces to the pool to the panoramic views, created a serene and private sanctuary for our family. World-Class Service & Culinary Excellence - The service throughout our stay was exceptional — warm, attentive, and consistently professional. Every staff member made us feel welcome and cared for. Our experience was elevated further by Chef Mayron, who cooked for us throughout the entire week. His meals were spectacular — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and crafted with genuine passion. He brought a fine-dining experience directly into our villa, which our entire family adored (including our picky eaters!). ⭐ Final Thoughts Art Villas Costa Rica delivered one of the most luxurious, seamless, and memorable vacations our family has ever taken. From the flawless planning and curated adventures to the birthday celebration, spa treatments, impeccable housekeeping, and extraordinary cuisine — every moment exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend Art Villas Costa Rica highly enough and are already looking forward to returning.

We stayed here for 3 nights, unfortunatelly not what we expected. Such a great concept and environment, but not maintained at all. You can tell it’s not just from the past week but from much longer. We’ve made our dissapointments clear through our travel agency and with the reception. Two positives were the bed and Alba who works at the reception! Alba, keep up your positive attitude, your a very good addition to Art Villas!

If I could give ArtVillas a 12/10, I would! It was absolutely unreal for my family and me—a true paradise for both kids and adults. The villa itself is stunning, super unique, and honestly one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The service was exceptional as well; anything we needed was handled quickly and with care. Traveling with kids can sometimes be a challenge, but once we arrived at ArtVillas, we never felt the need to leave. The playroom, trampoline, and water slide were a total hit—my kids never had a second of boredom. It was truly their dream vacation spot! Thank you so much for everything—we can’t wait to come back soon!

The most wonderful and amazing place I’ve ever stayed! It’s different, it’s not a luxury hotel- it’s so much more and so much better! The website describes it perfectly. It’s a drive up a mountain, not much different than mountain roads in West Virginia. There are creatures, and birds galore! Tuscans, Tanagers (scarlet and blue) humming birds all over. Definitely get the Merlin bird ID app. It’s great for identifying. There are spiders and frogs, we found them fascinating! We swam, played ping pong and foosball… all while watching monkeys and birds. We stayed in the Art Villa. My daughter and Son in Law, three beautiful kids 15,13,11 and me the Grammy! We all loved it! It sits on a mountain so there are steps all around the area, too many for me to run up but not hard. The pool, rooms and bathrooms were wonderful and very clean and tidy. The view, the gardens and the wildlife made it extraordinary. One of the things we all commented on that took this trip over the top for us, was the staff. They were so kind and friendly! Telling us about the area, sharing their own pictures, pointing out monkeys. We loved them ❤️ We loved the breakfast too, it’s the only meal we took advantage of. We ventured out daily to local restaurants, never a disappointment! We did visit the grocery store for some basics, mostly drinks and snacks. The best thing was a local fruit stand, we could have lived on that….so fresh and delicious. This may not be for everyone - if you like crowds and shopping malls, it’s not for you. If you are fascinated by nature and local life you will love it. One thing we would have done differently is the drive from San Jose. It’s long and we did not account for the time to get through customs and get into the rental car. It’s worth making the journey part of your trip. We landed at 12 got on the road around 3, then stopped for lunch which meant part of the drive was in the dark and rain. You do not want to miss the sights in this beautiful country! Go and adventure!

A unique and beautiful stay - pods are cosy and warm with no a/c. Woke up early naturally due to nature sounds, we didn’t mind! Breakfast was great with loads of choice but there’s not a restaurant for lunch or dinner. We opted for the ordering a pizza $16 to then be charged $35 the next day to include the delivery fee! We had our own car so if we’d of known about delivery we would’ve got it ourselves. It’s a way up the steep hill, 4x4 was good for us.

Original concept. Nice view. We arrived earlier than check-in time and could use the glamping already. The bed net had some holes. It was not a mosquito net. Alba was of great help and very kind. She also helped us reserve restaurants and spa. The other receptionist made us feel unwelcomed. She didnt explain why Amex could not be on the form and when we said we paid everywhere for consumption (all nights prepaid) with Amex, she asked us where we were. Please note we had travelled across for 3 weeks. She also made it a big deal we asked for new pool towels. She should really go do something else. Nobody offered help with the luggage on check-in. The breakfast was good. Tables were dirty.

The most beautiful and complete accommodation I’ve ever stayed at. Located in the middle of the rainforest (with ocean view), stunning detail for design and an amazing crew. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy the sound of nature, great vibes, comfy beds, stunning sunsets and delicious breakfast.

The most outstanding, notable bits about Art Villas, was that although it has a luxurious feel, you feel right at home. We stayed in Coco 3, and were welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff members right away. We only stayed for one night, but could use the amenities well after checkout as well, which was great! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the coffee incredible. I’d say the property is just the right size, it is very quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves during our stay. You must listen to the sounds of the birds and other animals in the jungle in the AM, just outer worldly. You need 4x4! Don’t be worried about the drive up if you’ve got a rental that is All Wheel, but it is definitely necessary. The only 2 things I wish ArtVillas had was a better stronger fan in the room. There is no AC. During the heat of the day, it is quite extreme. The only other thing, is that there is quite a lack of privacy. Keep in mind you are Glamping so be prepared to feel slightly exposed in your Coco as you will likely not be closing your curtains as it’s too hot and humid! Would stay again!
