Artagonist hotel

Excellent stay in a central location. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. ||My Standard double room had adequate space for one. If there were two of us it would be ok for a short stay. Plenty of storage space in both bedroom and bathroom. Everything was perfectly clean. ||The hotel was very quiet at night, curtains cover any light and I slept very well. The shower was good. ||Only downsides were small toiletries and no fridge (the minibar is room temperature). WiFi was ok in my room, better in reception. ||I would definitely stay again for the central location and sleep quality.

The location is great and rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are also helpful. However, the curtains in the room just never close properly, so you can never enjoy sleeping in a dark room. Despite there being space for a closet and a fridge, both are missing. The worst however was the breakfast which is definitely not 4 stars.

Lovely spacious room that was really clean. Really nice toiletries provided. Location was perfect- right in the heart of the old town with lots of nice restaurants/bars nearby. Would definitely stay there again. Only slightly annoying thing is the controls for everything are all electric and takes a bit of figuring out.

Took me a while to write this but should’ve done it earlier. It’s a great hotel in central Vilnius. The room is comfortable and warm and the beds were great. Location is absolutely central. It was my first time in Vilnius and stayed 3 nights, you can walk everywhere from here. Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance and it’s safe to walk the area at night. One thing that won’t affect my rating but worth mentioning is that the breakfast is very good but hectic. There was so much going on with staff and guests and trying to find things was hard. There was big buffet and it was like some cutlery were hidden because there was so much stuff. Try to eat later late or very early if having breakfast. Staff were very friendly.

Quite hard to lable the experience in the correct category, but here are the main positive and negative sides. I would like to state that the 4.8 google review is a bit over agadurated. The overall service and rooms are fine, in addition the location is very good but the biggest dissatisfaction was the breakfast buffet and the quality of the food. Very minimalistic buffet for a 4 star hotel that serves the most cheapest and low quality food. To be honest I would stay here again and eat breakfast somewhere else.

The Hotel Artagonist is indeed perfectly situated for sightseeing and restaurants. HOWEVER - I was expecting a double bed but after I saw how small my room was - I went back to the reception. I was told since I booked for one person the system automatically puts single people in the room in which a prison cell is bigger. I would not be able to get a bigger room because I was 1 person. How small - I could not extended my arms from wall to wall, the bed was a twin which was pushed against the wall, no room for luggage so it was on the floor which I had to walk over every day. The bathroom must have been designed by a man had no space for toiletries. You are only given 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel both paper thin. The hair dryer do not even try - it is some very cheap thing with no power. I do not have very many toiletries. There is no refrigerator! I caught the cleaning crew just wiping out glasses in the room and not replacing with clean drinking glasses. The so called art in rooms is a joke just some cheap fabric on the walls. My room looked out at a dirty inner building connection. Breakfast was average and underwhelming. They switch the starting times in which no one tells you and you will not get breakfast prior to that time no matter what. And the breakfast is in the basement. The hotel had 4 umbrellas for the entire hotel so I had to buy one. I felt the hotel had zero atmosphere. There are much better hotels in the same area. I do not feel I got any value for what I paid.

Great welcome, great staff, comfortable and clean. Also pleasantly quirky and a good breakfast. Excellent location and quiet. But no fridge in the room and lights come on automatically - disturbing for the other person if one of you gets up in the night, and annoying when the light goes off when you are in the middle of shaving

Loved the environment, decorations, location, architecture and availability of the staff! Amazing people constantly helping and welcoming us, making sure our stay is safe and as enjoyable and economical as possible! Amazing tips and I would recommend to everyone!
