Arte Laguna Prize - Art Exhibition

I am truly grateful to Arte Laguna Prize for the opportunity to be part of such an important international art platform. For me, Arte Laguna is not only a competition, but a real professional ecosystem that connects artists from all over the world. It offers visibility, dialogue, and concrete opportunities — from exhibitions to meaningful international exposure. What I especially appreciate is that Arte Laguna World also provides online visibility for artists. The platform allows us to present our portfolios to a global audience, curators, collectors, and art professionals. In today’s world, this digital presence is essential, and Arte Laguna understands that perfectly. Being involved with Arte Laguna has expanded my international perspective and strengthened my artistic path. I truly believe in the value and future of this platform.

ALP is a great springboard to many opportunities around the world, including exhibitions and artist residencies. I was honored to work with ALP for the first time, which allowed me to exhibit at Shanghai EKA–Tianwu last year and then at the Shanghai Art Museum this year for the Shanghai Art and Design Exhibition, celebrating its 70th anniversary. Visiting China and immersing myself in the Shanghai art scene has been a truly inspiring experience, exploring museums, connecting with galleries, and gaining a deeper understanding of the local art world. None of this would have been possible without ALP’s dedication and support, and I am deeply grateful to the team for making this incredible journey possible.

It was an absolute honour to be one of the finalists and exhibiting artists at the Arte Laguna Prize 2023. An unforgettable experience to showcase my artwork in Venice, the most beautiful city and center of ART in the world! The venue was so impressive, especially because it could accommodate my installation that is 6-7 meters high. First of all, I would like to thank and mention the INCREDIBLE team of Arte Laguna Prize! They have been the most professional, supportive and accommodating team of people before, during and beyond the exhibition. Secondly, it was fantastic to meet talented fellow artists, develop new relationships and gain new contacts from all over the world. To be exhibiting with a pool of excellent creatives was an honour and it felt very special! Lastly, Arte Laguna Prize gave me a unique opportunity to showcase my artwork to a worldwide audiences! The exposure is incredible; I had so many more opportunities happening for me after the exhibitions like art galleries and museums reaching out and now resulting in new exhibitions. Most importantly, my dream for my artwork that I showcased at Arte Laguna Prize which is dedicated to my Kyrgyz nomadic culture and traditions is now travelling the world just like a yurt!!! It is a dream come true and I am so grateful to Arte Laguna Prize for the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend to all artists to apply to Arte Laguna Prize and also to visitors to come see art from worldwide!

The organization was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for both participants and visitors. Being a part of this prestigious exhibition proved to be a fateful event for me. The exposure my work received during the show was unparalleled, and it provided me with invaluable opportunities to connect with other creative minds. The contacts I made with fellow artists and art enthusiasts were invaluable and have continued to foster meaningful collaborations and exchanges of ideas long after the exhibition concluded. Moreover, the Arte Laguna Prize exhibition served as a wellspring of inspiration for my artistic endeavors. The artworks on display were innovative, thought-provoking, and thoughtfully curated, providing me with fresh perspectives and pushing the boundaries of my own creativity. The experience has undoubtedly influenced my creative path, pushing me to explore new techniques, concepts, and themes in my art design practice. I wholeheartedly recommend participating in the Arte Laguna Prize to any aspiring artist seeking growth, exposure, and connections in the art world. Whether you are an emerging talent or an established artist, this exhibition offers a remarkable platform to showcase your work, gain inspiration, and create lasting connections within the artistic community. The Arte Laguna Prize is an event not to be missed, and I am immensely grateful for the opportunities it has brought to my artistic career.

Arte Laguna is an amazing exhibition. Composed of an exceptionally well curated group of artists, in a venue that is in itself inspirational, this is a show not to be missed. Access is gained by either boat or foot (we preferred foot), by traversing the open water on a foot bridge suspended on the Arsenale Nords walls. Once inside the Lagoon, follow the signs and enter the most spectacular exhibit space. Painting, Photography, Sculpture, mixed media, it’s all there in a beautiful setting. If you’re in Venice this month, it’s a must see event.

This prize is an experience in its own right, exhibiting in a very beautiful place like Venice and discovering this wonderful exhibition of artists. The experience is above all human because there are artists of all nationalities, I was able to discuss and have a link with a Taiwanese artist, Israeli artists, Italians etc... It's also a great organization that is carried by people who appreciate the arts and who are very nice.

In my experience, this organization feels more like a money-making machine than real support for artists. They recruit many artists for the same exhibition, and while the events may look professional on the surface, the focus seems to be on profit rather than the artists themselves. The fact that they run multiple exhibitions and competitions every year gives the impression that the main goal is to maximize income while minimizing costs.

As one of the participating artists in the 14th Laguna Art Prize, I feel incredibly fortunate. Due to the pandemic, I was unable to attend in person, but thanks to the professional curatorial team and effective organizational leadership, everything went very smoothly. They demonstrated a highly professional artistic vision and efficient action, as well as selfless assistance to the artists. Their respect for art and inclusiveness towards different cultures were truly commendable.
