Amazing place! I felt transported to a completely different space mentally. There are different rooms to explore, each with a unique theme. Very beautiful photo opportunities. It is 2 floors that you can explore at your own pace and for however long you’d like. I spent an hour there but you could walk through the whole thing in 20 minutes. So I guess the only con is I wish it were longer.

Google
Very fun place! Came during Magentaverse. Lots of projected or physical light displays that are choreographed to some very provoking and meditative music. There were two or three interactive exhibits that react to user movement or inputs. The 15-minute visual demo on the first floor was also quite a trippy experience (especially when viewed whilst standing up). The place is not big and could be walked through in less than half an hour, but we spent a decent hour or so here as it’s a great place for photos. Overall a whimsical experience and would recommend! Staff were also super nice!

We had a wonderful experience here. We were greeted in a very friendly, welcoming manner. We had purchased tickets I'm advance, which I recommend doing. Our tickets were scanned via a barcode on our phone. We were then escorted inside and given an outline of the exhibition and what to expect. We never felt rushed and it never got crowded. We were there to see Afro Frequencies which is amazing!!!! A very powerful moving and beautiful experience. I highly recommend!!!

Google
I could’ve spent an entire afternoon roaming around this amazing place. I was fortunate in that there were only a couple other people, and I felt like I had a place to myself so that I could explore freely and I was absolutely mesmerized by the deep hues of pink throughout the space. This was a fun exhibit! I would totally return again.

Google
One of the most cutting edge museums I’ve been to. Also at a great price point at around 20-25 per person. We spent about an hour here on both floors. Some of the pieces were interactive where the sensors would capture movement and change color or move accordingly which was cool. I found it interesting how trusting they were with people with each of the pieces, shows the trust the artists have in the sturdiness of their art. If you have an eye for cool pictures, this is also your spot. Hope you get to go!

Google
This place is tiny but has so many different areas that it feels much bigger. It is well organized, clean, they keep it flowing so that it doesn’t get too crowded in one spot but you still have enough time to enjoy each display. You want to get lost in each display, it is magical and transcendent, the colors and graphics wow you!

Luisa Lopez Silva

Google
The entrance cost $25, which is the regular price for any “museum” in Miami. Is nice because they have a couple interactive spaces. Last week I had the opportunity to go for the second time and I notice that the spaces were similar, not all of them, but still. Is a nice place if you like digital art or technology.

Google
I love checking out the new exhibit each year, learning about a new artist and how digital art can be brought to life in new ways. I like the interactive nature and it’s always a fun time! Great for all ages.

Will D.

Yelp
I went for the magenta exhibition.... The installations were really cool and the art was great. A bit expensive for the size but then again it's up to you how long you choose to stay at each exhibition. We passed some time after lunch here and it was nice to support some artists in the city. Recommend it if you are in the area since it's something stimulating that takes up some time .

Andrea Z.

Yelp
I paid too much for this, I should've paid five dollars and even that is a lot. This was sold to me as an interactive art exhibit, however, it was not. It was actually very boring. We tried to make the best out of it and yet we left feeling empty. it was very small there was a creepy sound throughout the exhibit and we were done with it within 30 minutes including a bathroom break. I wouldn't go again and I wouldn't recommend it.

Lexi M.

Yelp
So we've been to the other Artechouse exhibits and this was the last one in the US to visit. It was a good space, but I wish the large room had a better transition between art videos. It was still a good experience.

Arshey R.

Yelp
I love immersive experiences and digital art so I was super excited to come here. I was hyped by the storyline (love when everything is connected) and I came out with an ok experience. The main reason why I took away 2 stars is because I expected the place to be much bigger (2 floors and the bottom floor has only 3 exhibits) and sometimes the tech didn't seem to work or it was unclear on how I was supposed to interact with it. I also downloaded the app and I had to ask a worker there how to useit, otherwise super unclear...but when I got the hang of it, def really cool thing you see on the app!! Also I don't think you need to pay extra for a timed entry (idk about Friday night or sat). You might as well just pay for a slot to save some $ and you can normally stay longer than an hour. I recommend for the execution because I definitely enjoyed it but I do think the experience could be better.

Romer C.

Yelp
I thought it was an okay experience. Its nothing really that amazing. I didn't really get to enjoy the experience since we were rushed out it was honestly my fault for arriving late but i just left feeling un satisfied maybe it was because of the short amount of time there.

Grace W.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Artechouse! We went in last minute on a rainy day, and it was super easy to buy tickets. The place was almost empty which was nice, felt like we could take our time in each room. The ticket was $25, a bit pricey in my opinion since it's not that big. Could probably be in and out within 45-60 minutes. Cool experience, would recommend if you like taking cool artsy photos for social media.

Melissa C.

Yelp
This is was my second visit to Artechouse. It is such a unique, fun, and beautiful exhibit. I love how it changes every once in a while so you can keep going back and experiencing something new. I would say that it is expensive for the size. Even taking our time in each room, we weren't there for all that long at all, especially for the price. Many of the exhibits were interactive, but there weren't instructions and they weren't self-explanatory. We had such a hard time figuring them out that we eventually gave up. I would definitely recommend it, but there are some things that need to be worked out.

Maria Alejandra O.

Yelp
I came here with my parents, the new magenta expo it's really nice, easy to follow around and very interesting. Once again they did a great job. We had a great time

Nicole J.

Yelp
I love everything about immersive art experiences! I actually have seen this one in Washington and Miami. This is my second time visiting the Miami location and I will say that I was a little disappointed from the experience and exhibits from there opening years ago. I definitely was expecting it to be better but honestly they should go back to what it was before. I was very unclear how to interact and half the time it seemed to not be working. There was only one exhibit that was worth seeing (Drums). Outside of that is was pretty boring. Honestly save your money - you are better off seeing Superblue Miami. Parking is horrible. Beyond horrible. You will spend 30 mins just trying to park and its a timed entry.

Master Vicente A.

Yelp
Artehouse, hoy fue una experiencia incredible, tecnologia, Lazer Asian games is like you are in the street of Japan or inside the game. High recommend if you visit Miami beach

Jalani M.

Yelp
Recommend for older student vibes for cool selfies and chill vibes. Definitely wish it wasn't as expensive but they got to keep the rent paid for being in south beach. People who worked there were cool. The asking machine was a bit much with the curse words. Kind of throws you for a loop.

Natasha B.

Yelp
I had such high hopes for this place. I saw amazing pictures and heard rave reviews. To say the least, I was extremely disappointed. It was my brother's birthday and I thought taking him to an interactive museum would be exciting and fun. The building is two floors with interactions on both. It was cool that they combined the technology component with Art but I feel it all fell flat. The museum just had projectors everywhere projecting blue patterns and light on the walls. I'm not sure if I was supposed to feel calm but the meaning of art was lacking. This whole museum is just a social media thing, where people go and take cool pictures and that's it. But the so called meaning of Aqueous and the color blue did not translate well with the art. We saw everything in less than 15 minutes and yes took some cool pictures. But for the $24 ticket price and one hour drive to Miami, completely not worth it.

Ahdriana A.

Yelp
This museum was full of fun technological exhibits. I went with a group, and we all seemed to find something we enjoyed and were intrigued by. This isn't your usual, stationery art museum. Be prepared for lots of lights, sounds, and interesting photo opportunities. When we visited, the museum was showcasing an exhibit centered around Tokyo in the future and explored the potential environmental impacts it may face if we don't take action in the present. It was thought-provoking, stimulating, and pretty. The only negative is the parking situation. Come early!

Lina S.

Yelp
Really cool place. First time going was during covid, it was nice to see that the staff was masked up and they enforced social distancing. We had our temperatures checked prior to entry, hand sanitizer was available and there were stickers on the floor for social distancing. It was smaller than I expected it to be but still really cool. Expect to spend maybe 30 mins max here. Not sure what the parking situation is like, we ended up using valet service outside, which was pricey but it is south beach. Overall cool experience and would recommend it to try something new. Only giving it four stars because it was smaller than anticipated but still worth the price.

Shawnie P.

Yelp
Although this place offers some cool selfie op's and the big room is pretty cool, they are way over priced for what you get. Once we walked through we were both like "that's it"? Would be much better if they offered more, much much more for the money. Different experience but not worth going back. Like I said, cool pics but that's all. Metered Street parking available. Staff was friendly but intrusive (always following you around).

Doris D.

Yelp
Enjoyed most of the installments. Couple didn't work. Was not as interactive as expected but still appreciate the digital art talent and creativity. Liked fragmented mirrors most.

Lynette B.

Yelp
Travelzoo is having a deal on tickets for ARTECHOUSE so we jumped at the chance to check it out. Everyone is very friendly and professional at the door and throughout the check-in process. I felt very safe during these crazy COVID times. They required everyone wear masks even when taking photos which I appreciated greatly. Aqueous was so cool and very relevant to this location being close to Miami waters. Loved that most were interactive but also included a message about our waters and how we need to eliminate single use plastic. It's great that they're timed tickets so you're not competing with other people to see or snap photos. Highly recommend this. We had a lot of fun taking pics. It brought out the kids in us.

Selena V.

Yelp
I was not at all impressed by this place, the "Active" things to do we're not impressive, some things didn't function, I saw videos how things were suppose to move with your hand touch and nothing happen, I finished the 1st floor in 10 minutes, the second floor was much more active but again, nothing out of the world. I would not recommend anyone to come here and waste their money, you have a better chance at blue or Wynwood for much much lower price. I am a local so I've seen them all and this is the least I'll recommend. I told one of the employees that I finished in 20 min and I was not impressed and not happy with my journey there and asked for a refund and her reply was "okay & no sorry" so yea not even attentive or try to persua me in caring much about the place, customer service was whatever. Try somewhere else guys ! Thanks

Yelp
My bestie in DC has been raving to me forever about ARTECHOUSE. I'm lucky enough to have been able to host an event with them this summer where I initially was hooked by technology and art combining. They just launched a new exhibit - Infinite Space - and so last night my family went to attend as our fam jam. I was completely blown away from this Exhibit. Not only was I surprised at how much the museum had changed from when I last visited - but I was also just really enamored with every inch of the space. If you're looking for something to do that will keep you captivated, provide epic content for the gram, and give you some insight into how artists of today work to keep us engaged and inspired - head to ARTECHOUSE. I love that the exhibits change, which gives you continued excuses to return for the fun! Infinite space is up thru January so make sure to make it out there.

Ariel W.

Yelp
ARTECHOUSE is located in South Beach. it's an area I tend to avoid due to congestion and lack of parking. This exhibit however looked too interesting to pass up so I braved the Miami traffic. ARTECHOUSE is currently in three cities, Washington DC, New York, and Miami. Save your self the headache of looking for non existent street parking and park instead at the city garage on 7th Street. Parking only cost me $4 and ARTECHOUSE is around the corner. You can purchase your tickets ahead of time online for a specific timed slot or you can purchase them at the desk as I did. Tickets are pricey. My tickets was $25 and by showing her student ID my daughter's ticket was $20. Once you walk inside be prepared to be immersed in a world where technology melds with art. ARTECHOUSE is the brainchild of Sandro Kereselidze and Tatiana Pastukhova. Inside the building on two floors there are ten art installations of which nine are interactive by either movement, touch, or breath. Unlike traditional museums everyone is urged to touch and connect. You can take as many pictures or videos as you like just don't use flash photography. The art by French digital artists Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne is called XYZT: Abstract Landscapes. I loved their kinetic sand table where the dots on the screen reacted to the pressure of your hand. In other exhibits you can change a wall with the wave of your hand or walk through a field of digital grass in Field of Vectors. Another exhibit that was endlessly interesting was a small room that had books. If you looked at a picture on the page it was a flat image like you would see in any normal book. However if you looked at the image through their iPad camera lens the motion capture made the image come alive. We had a lot of fun playing with this installation. Although small ARTECHOUSE is worth visiting. The kids I saw during my visit were having a ball. This is an art exhibit custom made for social media and was unlike anything I had ever done before. I loved sharing this experience with my daughter who is studying digital art in college. This is now the second art exhibit I've seen that is trying to get the message across that you can create art through computers not just painting, drawing, and sculpture. The ARTECHOUSE exhibit has been extended at this building. For how long they don't know so come on down before they leave. Once this exhibit moves out another one will take it's place.

Yelp
When art, science, and technology meet!!! Artechouse Miami is a digital gallery showcasing the new age in arts and technology. It's a cool exploratory physical experience through interactive virtual environments generated using math and physics models with light. The gallery is not extensive, so it will be a brief exhibit. Nonetheless, it's an interesting and creative concept. Instagramers will definitely be in heaven! The Artechouse is located at 736 Collins Avenue, and it opened with the exhibit called XYZT: Abstract Landscape, a world-traveled interactive art exhibition from internationally-acclaimed French digital artists Adrien M & Claire B. Check it out!

Rea P.

Yelp
If you are looking to do something indoors while in Miami, this is one of my recommended places! It definitely stimulates your senses. It's a great time for kids, teenagers and adults! They have simulations that are breathtaking and some that will leave you in awe. There are interactive ones and are so much fun! The staff were super friendly and helpful. You can tell they enjoy working there. Some tips: Do book your tickets and time slot ahead of time. (I took a picture of the current rates and included in my picture.) Do ask for assistance for the interactive stuff! You won't regret it!

Jeane N.

Yelp
I had been plotting on visiting this new art concept in Miami for months, so when I learned I would be able to go to a private event with Yelp!, I was geeked. If you love interacting with art then this is the perfect place for you. Most museums in Miami have the look and don't touch rule but with this intimate installment, it's basically you creating your own masterpieces with your friends and a camera. Tons of cool-ops and instagram worthy posts, so make sure to take a friend who's gonna get all the right angles or a selfie stick. Even the guides were super friendly and helpful with taking pictures and even offered tips and cool tricks to get the right picture! Thought X Y Z T is a smaller art exhibit, I had fun and now that I know they have become permanent, I will make sure to visit the new installment coming from D.C. this fall!

Michael B.

Yelp
The exhibit is small but interesting and fun. It is nice that there are interactive elements as well.

Tristian W.

Yelp
Went to go check this place out on a Saturday night with some friends. We were lucky enough to score free parking right in front of the building and thank goodness because it was pouring that night! We had selected the time slot for 5pm to 6pm. They have a limited number of people they allow in the building for each showing. Staff was friendly. We did have a small issue with the tickets we bought. We bought them online through the fever app and they were saying the systems weren't linking up or they were having some sort if issue. We had to buy the next day online but they let us go in for our original scheduled time for that night. We used our code on their website so the ticket charge was waived from the fever ticket but we were still charged an additional $5 for a processing fee. It was a minor issue but I still think it's something they should resolve with that company if they are choosing to partner with them. Buy tickets directly from artechouse if you wish to go. The gallery itself was quit fun an immersing, a great place to take some fun pictures, I can see it being fun for kids as well. Many of the art pieces were interactive so you could spend a good bit of time just playing around. My favorite part was the main room downstairs where the whole room has a projector and it's just so fun to watch all the different things they show. It was a good variety as well didn't repeat the patterns until many minutes had passed. I would certainly check it out again for another art exhibit.

Titus B.

Yelp
Price didn't match the exhibition.the star is for the enthused Customer service. Although that wasn't the case, if You wanted to grasp it all you can walk through in 10 minutes up and downstairs. Save your coins and go to Wynwood.

Marcie N.

Yelp
Enjoyed the "Aqueous" experience with my son and my sister. I could have stayed there all day. Each station had a different look, and moved when you moved. The music added to the overall vibe. It was a cool, truly interactive art experience. I felt safe as I navigated both upstairs and downstairs because everybody was socially distancing and wearing a mask was mandatory.

Vashti S.

Yelp
Had a blast very fun and entertaining. The staff is very friendly as well. Fun place to go to kill time and very affordable

Nathan M.

Yelp
I was in dire need of new jeans- this place didn't have them but was pretty cool and trippy experience. 10/10 would get jeans from them again

Terry E.

Yelp
Really great interactive art experience pop up in South Beach. Lots of different projected ever changing art to take photos with. My advice ... take all your pics in the main rooms and don't wait the entire hour for your THREE minutes in the Infinity Room. It's so stupid and not at all worth the wait. Total let down. But the rest of the place is awesome.

Rachel L.

Yelp
Hello, awesome date night idea! My boyfriend and I got tickets to experience ARTECHOUSE since we kept seeing all of the buzz on social media about it. Overall, a fun experience and a great way to switch things up. My recommendation would be to not book the last slot of the evening. We weren't able to see all of the rooms since we got there a few minutes late, but still wanted to try to enjoy all of the visuals. We had to leave before we were able to finish as they were closing up for the evening.

Nasha P.

Yelp
My friend and I had a full on photo session in here. We were there for more than an hour getting just right pics and boomerangs. The people that work there were also pretty nice and explained the way something worked. The only thing is that I wish there would've been more installations, there wasn't much to do or see for such a big space. I think they could've had more stuff to see.

Matthew S.

Yelp
This is the coolest place EVER!!!!! You must experience this art museum as it is nothing like you've ever scene before!!!

Luis-Felipe Z.

Yelp
I've never really been one for art, but this was a different yet contemporary look at art. Most of the pieces were interactive and actually got me physically involved which was a first for an art gallery! Located in South Beach area, definitely something different to experience. When I came to the exhibit, it was a look at abstract landscapes by Adrien M and Claire B. (They told me it would be changing in September/October 2019.) Tip: Bring a buddy and a camera/expensive phone because there are some cool shots waiting for you over there. BETTER TIP: There is a Florida resident discount, so bring an ID if you live here. There are also senior and student discounts (bring student ID) BEST TIP: The discounts are stackable, so I was able to get my Florida resident discount on top of the student discount!

Daryl S.

Yelp
An intersection of art and technology, plus playing around with dimensions...sounded pretty interesting to me! My mom, boyfriend, and I decided to check it out one rainy afternoon. It's pretty expensive, but so it goes in Miami Beach. It was dark, cold, and the music was soothing. At first we didn't know how to interact with some things, but the staff were happy to give us tutorials. It was pretty small, but we spent a good amount of time playing around, interacting with the art, and taking pictures/videos.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Artechouse is one of a kind. When you walk in you are immersed in the calming blues and sounds of water swishing back n' forth. It's definitely a great experience and worth taking up if you find yourself on South Beach and wanting to get out of the sun for an hour. It's smaller than what I expected and we were done quicker than I'd imagine. My advice is to take in every exhibit and appreciate it. Aqueous will only be around a couple more months so go!

Gloria A.

Yelp
I went with my bf which is super picky about museums and I can honestly say he loved it. We took so many pictures and videos and truly had a wonderful time. If you have an hour I highly suggest you go- something Ive never seen and for all you IG pic hot spot lovers GO HERE! Also the infinity room is amazing!!!! Great for dates! Kudos to the artist, loved this exhibit

Paige K.

Yelp
Everyone who works here is SO NICE. I was SO PISSED when an installation - the main one I wanted to see - stopped working, and they were extremely kind and accommodating. They also refunded me immediately when we had a ticketing error. It's not very large, but it's a good size and interesting way to spend a few hours and get some great footage/cool photos. I think it's best during the low periods when it is mostly emptier.

Lizbeth H.

Yelp
this was such a unique and enveloping experience to say the least! it was a part of the go city miami pass so we went as saw the bueatidul classic blue Pantone color of the year in action in the mesmerizing and interactive displays!!

Elena V.

Yelp
Very cool place different than your average museum. It's not very big but it's about quality not quantity. We were lucky to be invited to a soft opening and was honored to be there. There was about 3 exhibits that was utterly amazing and really were...... trippy! Aka it kinda messed with your sense of space and reality, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I wish there was at least two more exhibits to justify coming out and paying an entrance fee. Entrance fee was about $24 for adults, $20 for students and approx. $17 for kids. They did mention a Florida resident discount of about $5 off with proof of residency. I say it is definitely a must see cool experience if you have a little extra time, you're in the area and/or you can spare $20 and your looking for something different to do in Miami. It will probably on take about an hour of your time. Cool experience, thanks ARTECHOUSE!!!

Sherry T.

Yelp
Amazing installation, fun for families and a great interactive exhibit for young and old...light and darkness combining and reacting to movement. This was an amazing experience for our family. Difficult to explain but the pics might help. Just know that my 9 year old son was really able to take it all in. Definitely worth the 20 mins it took to find parking. Ugh South Beach! (That's my only issue but can't be avoided given the location and doesn't in any way take from the beauty of the art).

Monica G.

Yelp
Got invited to Artechouse for the Opening Media/Preview Night. I'm giving it four stars because I thought it would be bigger and have more exhibits to explore. Prior to going, I checked out the other locations in NY and LA and it seemed like they had so much more to do. I'm not knocking this place, actually I loved it and had a great time I just thought it would be bigger. I was actually worried and comparing it to the previous pop-up museum in South Beach (Museum of Ice Cream) that in my opinion was a serious let down. Artechouse is much cooler. Step into imaginary territory of lines, dots, and letters, and immerse into a virtual playground of four dimensions: X (horizontal), Y (vertical), Z (depth), and T (time). Artechouse may not be as big as I thought but it is filled with interactive installations. Upon walking in, it is a dark space and immediately you literally step on to the first work of art. A black and white striped walk-way that interacts and moves along with you as you walk through it. They have a flowing tree that throws letters with the wind, a screen that makes you look distorted, projectors facing the floor so you can lay down and take the ultimate selfie for the gram, etc. My favorite installation is on the second floor (Artechouse has two stories). It is a screened in box, you stand in the middle and the sensor picks up your movements. Your reactions and actions is what makes the movement art on the screen, it's pretty cool I must say. They also had individual viewing boxes with technology art and lots of sensors. On Preview Night, they had champagne flowing which I don't think they will have on a regular basis but I think they should serve those interactive drinks like they do in the other locations I've seen online. Artechouse takes around 45 min to an hour to view, it's short but sweet. It's perfect for a date night, a quick outing and especially for Instagram pictures. Prices are reasonable and wayyyy less expensive than Museum of Ice Cream. Adults $24, Seniors 65+ $20 and children ages 2-14 $17. Parking is in South Beach so you either find a garage couple blocks away or you get lucky and find a metered spot right across just like I did! Kudos to Artechouse, I had fun and I hope they stick around longer since it is a Pop-Up.

Yelp
This new museum offers interactive installations made of light! If you're visiting Miami, this is a must! It's located In south beach and walking distance to the beach! If you're a student make sure you bring your ID to get the student discount ! I did hear that sometimes, some of the installations are not working so call ahead of time to make sure you get your money's worth! But definitely a cool place to go. The installations are interactive and react to movement.

Lucia P.

Yelp
This is an enjoyable experience. I went to their previous exhibition last July and was able to go on Monday evening for their new one. They took very good COVID-19 precautions with the amount of people there as well as the check in process. The exhibition was very nice and enjoyable. It's a small venue but each room gives you a different experience. Would recommend!

Natalie D.

Yelp
I really had high hopes coming here. It was basically a few rooms with lights in them and some mirrors with different movements. I honestly would not come back for a second time, it was not worth $27 ticket. It's a small place and you can tour around the whole place in 20 minutes! I am giving them 2 stars because they do take your temperature in the beginning and tell you to not remove your mask at any times or you will be escorted( which I liked).

Yelp
The perfect combination of Technology and Art, this spot was definitely impressive! For those of you who enjoy art like myself, or those who just want to see something different in Miami, this is a must go to spot! The employees were super helpful, answering any and all questions! The actual studio is in a great location w nearby parking, restaurants, a stores to shop at!

Yelp
There were only a few truly interactive exhibits and they were largely unclear on how to engage with them. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Made a mistake going here, very disappointed.

Yelp
It was a different experience for me at the artechouse. Digital yes... Everything about it was cool. And that artist took their precious time to bring forth those cool arts. Every one of them was picture worthy... Beautiful. I just wish it had more to it. I and my girlfriends spent at least 2 hours taking pictures. It's worth giving a try when you in the Miami area. And be aware when you leave the building you will feel like a vampire that wants to hide away from the bright sunlight outside since inside is all dark. When you take pictures inside make sure your flash is not on.

Yelp
Kinda weird but then kinda amusing and fun. Price was comparable. I wouldn't do the same one again, but I wouldn't undo what I did.
