A modern building in Hanoi, Artemis Café feels more like stepping into a boutique spa than a coffee shop — spotlessly clean, minimalist, and calming. We visited in the afternoon, and while the space itself was pleasantly quiet, it had clearly found its way onto the local influencers’ radar: nearly every table seemed occupied by someone staging the perfect photo shoot.
It made for a slightly amusing backdrop, but didn’t detract from the overall experience.
The staff were polite and friendly, though service was simple and unobtrusive rather than memorably warm. The real highlight, however, was the cakes — beautifully crafted, both visually and texturally, with vivid colors and delicate, well-balanced flavors. Each dessert felt carefully designed, not only for appearance but for genuine taste.
The coffee was also very good — well-prepared and smooth, a strong companion to the desserts.
Pricing is fair for the quality and the setting, aligning well with what you’d expect from a contemporary café experience.
A small but important note for travelers: they do not accept international credit cards. Local cash or domestic payment apps are required, so it’s worth coming prepared.
Overall, Artemis Café is a lovely, quiet stop if you’re looking for a clean, stylish place to enjoy excellent cakes and coffee.
It’s not a must-visit destination in itself, but if you find yourself nearby — or need a break from Hanoi’s energy — it’s a refreshing little haven worth enjoying.
