Artemisa Boutique Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for a full week to explore the island from a central and quiet location in the mountains and it proved to be a perfect fit. We immediately felt at home and received top class service. Christopher is a perfect host who served us delicious local foods every eve and gave us the best advice in terms of where to go and how to make sure we could explore the highlights of Corsica. This hotel exceeded our expectations so we highly recommend it as a central location to do a round tour of the island. Bonus: although we had a very hot June, we had lovely cooled down evenings thanks to the mountains :-)

Very nice hotel perfectly located near beautiful hikes in the Corsican mountains. Christophe is an amazing host with encyclopedic knowledge of local hikes and also a very talented cook who prepares a delicious home made dinner every evening with locally sourced products. He even made us sandwiches when we needed lunch for a long hike the next day. Strongly recommend this place if you want to experience Corsican hospitality at its finest.

Pros|Amazing food and wine|Boutique hotel with a superb host and excellent staff|Very comfortable beds|Beautiful scenery |Close to Lake Tolla where you can pedalo/kayak/paddleboard etc ||Cons|Bastelica is a bit limited in terms of restaurants or shops so quite difficult for children to eat away from the hotel. There are a few restaurants but most of them do not open until 8pm which might be too late for little ones. |Most bars and restaurants only accept cash. ||We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Artemisia. We are a family of 5 (three children aged 12, 10, & 5) so we were split between two adjacent rooms which worked well. We had a family suite and our 5 yo slept in our room but had his own separate section. ||We had some superb dinners, all prepared by the owner Christophe using local food and you eat a set menu. It was all delicious. Wine was also very good. ||Breakfast is beautifully laid out each morning. ||As this is a small hotel with a family feel, the children could be upstairs in a room watching a movie allowing us to enjoy dinner outside with beautiful views of the mountains and with horses in a field. ||I would definitely return to Hotel Artemisia! |Thank you to Christophe and the team for a memorable stay.

Christopher is absolutely a great host. He makes the Corsican dishes every evening himself - a good surprise.👌It's very tasting and so well presented. It is like family eating together but at your private table. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is very polite and the surrounding beautiful. This hotel is in the middle of Corsica with a very pleasant temperature at night. You can reach the east and west coast within 45 minutes. We also did a stunning walk to a waterfall. In town it is also possible to rent an e-bike or mountain bicycle. Thank you, Christopher and staff, for an excellent stay - 10/10 in every way.

Amazing surprise, best host ever and best cook ever!! We discovered the place by chance and we just loved it. Feeling at home immediately and exceptional food! Highly recommended !!! A great place to discover the stunning area, beautiful mountains and great Charcuterie Corse!!

The best stay we've ever had. We were truly treated like princesses. Mr. Christophe was very friendly, helpful, and a perfect host. The room was very clean and spacious with an AMAZING view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. Lots of fresh preparations of beignets, pancakes, banana bread and more. Evenings were always a delight as well. He prepared for us the most diverse and delicious local dishes with fresh ingredients, accompanied by the finest Corsican wines or aperitifs. And all of this at a very reasonable price. Truly had a superb week and very grateful for the warm welcome.

My partner and I looked for a small and personal hotel where we could stay for one week. Not too far away from the coast yet away from the hastle. My partner used to go for daily bike rides and this was the perfect starting pointThis boutique hotel was simply mindblowing:|The room had everything we needed with a view of the mountains, the pool and garden was simply beautiful.|Being vegetarians and allergic to nuts, it was taken into consideration. We always had dinner at the hotel and the incredible host cooked for the guests something regional and fresh. The wine suggestions were also always amazing. |We could not have asked for more and we cannot wait to go back one day. Thank you for taking such good care of us!|

The small hotel is nestled in the mountains. Very quiet, beautiful place. The view is amazing! |Christophe, the owner, is very attentive and gave us a very warm welcome.
