"This excellent handicraft shop is for folks looking to spend a few more soles on high-quality souvenirs that you won't regret buying. Products are sourced from all over Peru , directly from artists. Carved gourds, ceramics, procession crosses, masks and textiles are big sellers."

This hidden gem in the middle of Barranco really caught my eye. All the items here are handmade and we were blown away by the quality and unique pieces. Mari was very sweet and explained the history of all the pieces we were interested in. This is a must visit when coming to Lima.

A MUST STOP if in lima peru! Store owner was every friendly and Knowledgeable. She was able to give us details on the artists, styles and where the souvenirs came from. She told us she was probably a little more expensive than the other shops due to the quality, however we did stop at other places and she seemed at par with other places and sometimes less costly. The most important thing to note was that the QUALITY of her items was 100x better than the other places. We stopped at another place after just to compare and there was no comparison. Her place sells authentic souvenirs that are just outstanding. I want to note that I typically don't do reviews but after stopping at her shop I felt like I needed to. It was worth the stop. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

This small and almost hidden shop in Barranco is a true gem. Mrs. Mari Solari, the owner, is an specialist in Peruvian popular art, and cares deeply about quality and genuineness. She has a personal connection with everything that is for sale in her shop, and personally selects each product, orchard directly from the producers.

Fantastic little spot to buy authentic, curated, and personally sourced art items. The owner is clearly passionate about her pieces and can speak about where each one came from. We purchased a folk art piece but wanted to walk away with much more. She carefully packaged it up for us to take on the plane. Prices were very reasonable for what she is selling. If the gate is closed, ring the bell so her dog doesn’t get out. Skip the tourist markets, you can be sure this is the real thing.

A variety of artisan products: pottery, textiles, and much more. Make sure to ring the doorbell (if the gate is closed, that doesn't mean the store is). The owner is a British woman who will happily tell you about each item and it's origins.
