Artesian Spas

I am an owner of a Tidal Fit EP-15 for a little over 3 years. This swim spa has been nothing but a headache. There is constantly something breaking. Getting parts takes a very long time (currently 4 weeks and counting on the current repair). Customer service is unhelpful and worthless. The entire experience has been miserable. I spend more time messing with it, maintaining it, and repairing it than I do enjoying it. If you are comfortable throwing $10,000 into a toilet and flushing then you'll be fine owning one, if not I would think twice. Updated - It's now been 6 weeks waiting on parts. I have called twice and promised to be called back and they have not. I will try again this week. 2nd Update - I spoke with a helpful gentlemen the week after Thanksgiving and he explained the parts issue. It is now week 10 waiting on parts to arrive. Based on what I was told, I am hoping for arrival next week.

We love being a dealer for Artesian Spas. Their hot tubs are fantastic, beautifully designed and come with so many awesome features that our customers love. The happy look on our customer's face after we deliver their spa is the best part of our work. Customer service, warranty and shipping departments are all top notch. We will be with Artesian for life!

We ordered their top of the line hot tub. Could have invested less money on a different company. Our sales company is working very hard to fix the issues but as a first time hot tub buyer, this hasn't been the best. This company claims to be the best but we have had a non stop leak since the day we bought it. And one of the direct flow controls buttons fell off. If this gets taken care of, I will write a new review. Again, the company we bought it from has been great, but it is very frustrating to keep draining the tub just to see the fix didn't work. Hopefully there will be no more issues... Hopefully

new spa just over one month. pumps will not run back to back cycles, LEDs will work for two cycles then turn off an will not come back on or will just flash. Pillow head rest srcew just comes out over drilled. so new tub with hole

Have owned this spa for 6 months and have had to call for service 2x, first time the lights shorted out. This time the hot tub screen panel went blank.

Blame it on whoever you want—manufacturing? This story also includes a lame and ineffectual management style and local “technicians” who made every excuse in the book to not replace an UNDER WARRANTY circulation pump. This was the 2nd time it’s started leaking. After 5 mos of calling Vegas, trying to get someone to step in, send us the part, anything; we finally came out of our own pocket to the tune of $600.50 so our tub would stop leaking. And, it took less than 30 mins. Not even THIRTY MINUTES to replace it and that included me paying him. This is a top of the line tub. It’s been very well maintained. Still practically brand new according to our tech and still had almost 10 months left on the warranty at the time and NO service was forthcoming; no matter how many times I called; cajoled or pleaded. Wasting water, too, obviously. Thank God for our well. Can’t imagine the cost we would’ve had to pay for the water. Anyway, I’d say do your research when you buy from your LOCAL dealer and maybe even consider a different manufacturer because as an additional aggravation: the pump won’t prime.

I've had my spa for over 7 years now I still love love love it I get my swim on any time of the year and it's in great condition still like new because it's great quality.

I reached out to support 6 times over a month for an issue with our Hot Tub and zero response! Will not be buying any more Artesian Spas

I bought an Artesian Island Series (Antigua) hot tub 7-years ago and just experienced a near disaster that could have changed our lives forever--it caught on fire!! I lived in my hot tub every day, up until 3-weeks ago when while watering my garden, I noticed a cloud of smoke near the back of my farm house. My spa sits on a concrete platform, under a wooden deck, which is attached to the house and that's where the smoke was coming from. My wife screamed "fire" as she went to investigate. I came running up the hill toward the house and saw a bright red flame, shooting out of the side of the spa. I grabbed the garden hose, my wife grabbed a fire extinguisher and we put out the fire, but not before it burned a 12 x 6 hole through the thick plastic, catching the side of the tub on fire. The retailer I bought the spa from came to investigate, along with the insurance folks, and the cause of the fire seems to be one of the LED units that light the inside of the unit. Apparently, there was a short, that ignited the insulation and started to melt the plastic, which also caught on fire. If we wouldn't have been home, our whole house would have burned down, killing 3-dogs, and burning through the forest in which we live, VERY SCARY! I don't know what this means for Artesian, the manufacturer, but according to all the "experts", this sort of thing happens very rarely, so the odds are vastly against lightning striking us twice. The only advice I have to other owners is TURN YOUR TUB OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE!!

We paid 30k cash for a swim spa. NEVER got 6 months of it working right...they came out to fix a touchscreen, heater, jet pump, heater AGAIN, and motherboard. Still a ice cold spa that just sits there ! I EVEN had to buy a New Cover ($1,800) cause the Original rotted out ! All I get is, maybe the motherboard needs to be replaced. AGAIN ! Its a FAULTY product and we should be refunded.

My father called earlier today due to some issues we have been having regarding our spa. My dad has been trying to get ahold of Victor Ruiz, he finally got a hold of someone and explained the issue that has been going on for over 6 months. The guy was very rude and unprofessional, He also said to my dad "don't ever call back" and immediately hung up. This is very poor customer service and no education on how to treat customers, they get paid to treat people like this? We are still waiting and expecting an answer. Do not buy from this company. Stay away!!

Under two years of spa ownership, purchased from Energy House. The spa is kept under a cover patio and gets the very late afternoon Sun. Within 2 years the little bit of Sun it gets has warped the front panel, to the point it is falling away from the spa. The kicker was we were originally contracted to purchase a different spa, but because of some supply issues, Energy House sold us in this better spa! I've seen spas left in the sun for 7+ years and their panels never warp! When I called Energy House, it took 3 days of calling, before someone would return my call! Finally they returned my call. Initially, I was told I was still under the 2 year warranty and they would order the part and install it when they get it in. Five minutes later, they call me again Signed no 2 year warranty and .one year warranty has ended. Now it will cost $400 to purchase and install the new panel. The sales staff, is pleasant when I go there to purchase supplies, but that's where the positive note ends. I don't recommend buying from Energy House, their dad fall apart, when others don't. After reviewing our delivery receipt, it was noted that the Manufacturer's Warranty is 3 years. I initialed and signed it and I took a copy.

We bought an Artesian spa in 2019. It has been nothing but trouble and the dealer we brought bought it from obviously has no intention of standing behind the products they sell. Trying to get help directly from Artesian is a waste of time too. It's amazing to me that one can make a significant purchase and neither the place they bought it from (in my case Universal Factory Direct in Portsmouth NH) or the manufacturer (Artesian spas) could care less about service after the sale. The spa just turned 2 years old, is broken (again), still under warranty and can't get it repaired. This is going to be an expensive lesson but we are probably going to have the piece of sh*t hauled away and find a reputable company to purchase a new one from. Do not even consider buying one of these pieces of junk.

We purchased the Platinum Elite Dove canyon in August 2018 and have enjoyed it but last year in 2020 noticed the the cabinet panels were starting to fade badly and shrinking. They no longer fit into the aluminum side slots and have gaps. The upgraded cover is now oozing some kind of black substances, I would assume its mold. The pillows are disintegrating and we keep the water level below them. The waterfall valve broke, foot jet broke. We have taking great care of this spa but to no avail. For a high end spa the long term quality is disappointing. Its only 2-1/2 years old and looks like a 10 year old spa. Its even had a gazebo over it since day one.

We Have an Artesian Spa which was purchased 2017 in Miami. By far the worst spa and service we have ever experienced. The folks/company out in Las Vegas, which we have contacted for support and help , on several occasions, have been rude, unkind, and unhelpful. The spa is deteriorating and falling apart. PROBLEMS since day one! We will be needing to tear out this spa and replace as we have reached the end of our patience, as it works on and off. The expense, inconvenience & headaches this spa has caused, are not worth it. Buyers BEWARE!

I have been selling and repairing spas for almost 20 years. Artesian is the only one we sell now. Rock solid construction, programmable circulation pump, and still built in the USA. Maybe I have bit of a bias, but my customers have very happy with Artesian.

I purchased a artesian spa south seas collection model 748L. They have a "waterfall" feature in one of the corners. I had an issue with the pillow that is on the corner where the waterfall is. It isn't cut out enough and it interrupts the flow of the waterfall causing it to splash all over when it's on. I called Staten Island pool and spa where I purchased the hot tub. They were verY accommodating and said they would order me a new pillow. After about a month they called me and said the new pillow was in. I picked it up this past Saturday and immediately went home to try it out. This pillow, which I was told was from a different mold worked better than the original but it still wasn't 100% perfect. The pillow was still restricting the flow of the waterfall. The best part: today I call artesian direct to try to tell them my issue and see how we can resolve it. After a brief hold, the female comes back on the line and says that they don't deal with costumers. They only deal with the artesian dealers. She wouldn't even hear my problem let alone try and fix it. They don't mind collecting the $7000 that I paid for the hot tub but they don't want to hear direct from customers when they have a problem. If this sounds like the kind of company you would like to support, go for it. The actual hot tub itself is very good and has been running well for the first few months. But I'm sure there are others just as good with better appreciation for their cust Update: it is now February 16, 2020. I still have not heard from artesian or the dealer about replacing the pillow. $7000 for a spa and no one stands by their product. Fooking amazing Update:: I did as requested and emailed victor. I have yet to hear back from him. That was 2 weeks ago.

Disappointed in our purchase of a Tropics Seas Spa "Hawaii" model a couple years ago. The 3 headrests deteriorate after about 6-9 months of use...the exterior rubber starts "shedding" and fortunately gets stopped at our spa filter. Replacing them used to cost about $60 bucks -- now, they are up to $120 for 3 headrests and they STILL shed their outer rubber skin after a few months. Also the control panel decal (that turns on the jets and lights) is deteriorating so I managed to track down the address of Artesian Spas in Las Vegas -- guess they took over Tropic Seas Spas. Begged them for some decals, but all I got was "we don't sell to consumers -- go to one of our dealers". Wow, nice "customer service". 24 years in business and a minor request can't (or won't) be handled? Thanks!

Worst Company i have ever dealt with!! This company is driven by profit and has no care for customer service at all.

I purchased an Artesian Island Series Grand Bahama almost a year ago. It's a great hot tub when it works, but the first pump failed after about 3 months of ownership. It was replaced under warrantee, but took about 6 weeks to get the pump from Artesian to my dealer. 6 months later, another pump fails, and now I'm into my third month of waiting for Artesian to send a replacement pump. I'm given the excuse that COVID is interrupting the supply chain which is interesting for a hot tub that is supposedly built in the USA. My dealer tells me that Artesian is using the pumps they get to build new units rather than repair defective units, which probably is better for their profits, but certainly lowers my opinion of them. Out of 11 months of ownership, I've been able to actually use my hot tub for less than 7. I bought an Artesian because I liked the dealer better, and my dealer has been great through all of this, but his hands are tied by the lack of support from Artesian. If I could go back and do it over again, I would buy either a Hot Springs or Master instead of an Artesian. Bottom line is, I regret the purchase.

Bought a spa from Artesian, I would give them a ZERO-Minus if i could, Absolutely dont buy one of these spas. The spa didn't work the first day I got it, took about 3 weeks for them to fix it, that lasted about a week, then had more problems. I even called the Manufacture and talk to one of the engineers there, told him i had a crack in one of the jets, 3 pumps went back, and all the guy told me is that , we test everyone, and they all go out the door working, I told him this one must have never been tested, cause it didn't even fire up cause one of the pump motors had a direct short, tripping the fuse when turned on. I finally asked to talk to the owner and the guy hung up on me,, I got hung up on 3 times, I will give a 5 star to the girl who answered the phone, she was the only one that was professional, and probably the lowest paid employee there. Do not buy a spa from this company, I paid over 10K and its a Piece of Shit!!!! I warned you.

have a island spa from artesian and have a defect in the shell after only 3 years cant get anyone to help me to get ti fix 2 weeks of e mails and no help just sorry so before you buy think about this thanks ron ruzecki rfive@aol.com
