Artharmony Pension & Hostel

BED BUGS!!! while the decoration in the hostel is pretty, the beds were infested with bed bugs. my partner and me got bitten so incredibly often it was impossible to get a good night's rest. when we tried to address that to the receptionist she actually LAUGHED and dismissed us.

Bed bugs!! Although the decoration is nice and it looks relatively clean i couldn’t have a good night sleep because i was getting beaten from neck to toes.

Our room was very big and the place is super well located for the tours we wanted to do. The decoration was fun and colorful, it reminded me of Bali. Took a star away cause I have dust allergies and some parts of the room were dusty. Took my allergy tablet and was better.

I used the hostel for the Nannybag option (indeed, the hostel can keep your luggage when you are a traveler and you are waiting for a Airbnb). So it normally cost 200 Czech crowns. But of course, he pretended I didn’t already paid through the website and he forced me to pay 400 “due to poor English”. So he doesn’t have to pay the Nannybag option and he can swindle the people. I want to add : when you enter the building and go to the reception. It really feels dirty and the reception is terrible. It reminded me a comedy show when’s you thought you booked for an amazing place but you end up in the worst hostel 😂. I would never sleep in this kind of places and when you see there are bugs in your room I am not surprised at all.

A decent and quirky place to stay near the centre of Prague.

Real backpacker place as you get them in Asia, which is cool! The thing is, what makes them cool in Asia is the service, which is horrible here! It does not exist, and they do not keep appointments. We agreed to checkout at 13 [1pm], and the personnel had just left for the day.... We wanted to ask questions while we were there, but the personnel wasn't there. Then they had a fridge with beer you could buy but it was locked and the personnel wasn't there.... We stayed for 4 nights and you kind of expect that you will get new towels, emptied the bin and maybe even new sheets Asked the reception 4 times and they said the cleaning would do it but no. Then you have the problem with the moisture and mold as well as the interior that is broken, so wires are sticking out. That can have its charm if the service is great but it wasn't Would not recommend and will not be back

One of my favourite hostels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were so unique and beautiful. It was great to have a private bathroom as well. It’s a great stay for groups of 3/4. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful. Gave us loads of recommendations when we arrived. Would so recommend!

as far as hostels go… this has to be as good as it gets. art harmony is a cozy, unique accommodation with friendly staff, spacy and tidy rooms, and nice atmosphere. the fact that every room — even tho not en-suite— has its own lockable bathroom only makes it better. highly recommended.

I stayed in this design hostel for almost a week and both it's location and the interior are pretty amazing. There's so many small details, which I really love: cute little wooden signposts showing the road the the different rooms, which even have different themes! I stayed in the desert room (with trees?!), but would have loved to stay in the jungle room with the swing... It was clean, there's enough toilets and bathrooms ánd a kitchen (incl. fridge) free to use. The downsides? There's no breakfast included and even though we made a reservation for a group of 8 people and were told we could fill two complete rooms and not share with strangers, we all ended up in different rooms because they simply split us up as we weren't checking in at the same time (but on the same day). That was just real poor service, sadly.

We had a fabulous time at Artharmony Hostel. It was a very cute place and each room had a theme. Reservation: We made it online prior to arrival which was easy to do. We paid a deposit fee online to reserve the room, and when we arrived we paid the rest of the room fee. Location: Prague is a walkable city, but it was really convenient to get to the hostel from the airport. We received directions on how to get the hotel with a combination of subways and trolleys. In addition, the hostel was about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town Square section. Service: We asked the front desk for recommendations on things to do and local places to eat. They were really nice and accommodating. A staff member was available 24/7. Room: We had the "Frederick" room which was amazing. The room had a swing inside and enough beds for a group of 6 to stay in there. In addition, the room had an attic with additional beds. We ended up staying in the attic as it was quieter than the first floor. We received towels during our stay. Bathroom: We had a private bathroom which was outside the bedroom. All of the private bathrooms had keys to them. The bathroom had a shower, sink, and toilet. Lighting could have been better inside the bathroom, but there was enough space inside. Amenities: You can use the kitchen area for eating. In addition, there were two computers which had Internet access. I would stay here again!

Must be one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The club/disco downstairs kept us awake all night, the room didn't had any curtains so it was bright light as soon as the sun came up and the beds were made from plywood. Then wanted to take a shower but the glass screens came off and the water would not drain. After expressing our complaints the manager he just didn't care and said this was normal. Never going back here again!
