Arthotel ANA Flair I Nördlingen

Absolutely terrible service. Reception closes at the time check-in begins. No code arrived by email. Had to ring twice to get it. Even though breakfast had been paid for, there was no breakfast available for us. Not even to pay (again!) on the day. Nothing about this place would take us back there. Choose somewhere else!

No hotel staff whatsoever. Wifi sucks. TV works a few hours a day. Just woke up at 2am to, at least, five besbugs eating me. Called the property, management is in Augsburg (a city 40 minutes away). Said O had to wait until hotel staff gets here, at aprox 6am. I only want my lugagge sanitized and go as far away from here as I possibly can. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER coming near this place.

Traumatic experience arriving here and it was locked. We then had to phone the central reservation number standing there with traffic noise making it difficult.|Apparently we should have received an email with a number to get a key out of some box (which we only found out at 3pm on returning was round the back!)|We never had an email.|We walked into town in the heat of the day with our luggage. Not easy for a couple of pensioners.|Couldn’t believe it when we found it still locked at 3pm!|Another phone call and got a more helpful person who directed us all around the outside to look for key box. |We then found the back door open! Nobody there and it looked absolutely awful inside that area!!|I had to phone yet again to find out how we were to get a room!! Was told a room number and we got key out of key box at last.|Never again!! |Room was clean but far too hot and noisy as it’s on busy road. No air con - no fan. I struggled to sleep |Pillows squish into nothing - bad stay!!

I booked for 4 nights from Dec15 to 19, 2023. - I arrived at the hotel at 16:00 on Dec15 Friday. The hotel was locked and not staffed. The notice on the door said I should have received an email with a security code to retrieve my key from a box on the door to check myself in. But I did not receive such an email. I called the hotel and there was only an answering service. Fortunate another guest helped me to call and got hold of a staff, who provided the security code on the phone, which enabled me to check in. - on Dec16, my dirty towels were not changed. I requested to have some clean towels, via the phone, again, since the front desk was not staffed, again. The staff on the phone promised to have the towels delivered within one hour. I waited from 18:00 to 22:00, nobody came. I called more than 5 times, nobody answers. It feels like staying in a ghost castle, there is neither staff nor guest (no wonder!) here.

NB: I have booked, but have not gone yet, this is about the hotel's zero performance regarding communication. The hotel indicates they have a website but nobody ever replies. They indicate they have a telephone number, but if they do, they don't give it to you. What you get is a service number of another company, who then tell you they will forward your message. This does not work either, as my messages were either ignored or not forwarded. So don't expect this 'hotel' [which it isn't] to function like a hotel. Zero customer services.

Terrible!! Is worst than hostel. Cannot get in and no information before check in. Only found out at the entrance and then need to call and get a key from a Dropbox. Entered a very Smelly entrance, the lift smell even worst. Only got email two days before check in there is no breakfast, too late to cancel. Is a scam!!!

This hotel is small (quaint) and near the train museum, perfect for us as we are train fans. It is close to the main area of town, they accept pets, the staff was friendly and the room was just fine!|They EVEN had an oscillating FAN!!!!! In the ROOM !!!!!! They speak English and recommended the restaurant next door for dinner. Which didn’t disappoint! |The room was comfortable with a television large enough to see. I found the bed comfortable and they had RECTANGULAR PILLOWS!!!!! There is a lift on the property and the breakfast was really on point… eggs, sausage, meats of all sorts, lovely cheeses, breads, fruits and normal breakfast beverage choices. It was free parking, wifi, and our breakfast was included…..||10,00€ for our small dog was worth every penny…. Less than 100,00€! |We WILL recommend this place highly to anyone.

Just PERFECT. Close to the train station, but really quite. Also 5 min from the city center🔥 rooms are renovated, everything is very clean. Every detail made with love and you can feel it! Even the flowers at the tables. Adorable ☺️ Special thanks to Frau Kraus for such a lovely service. She helped me in every way when I needed anything. I found fresh water in my room every day of my stay. Btw there’s free parking for the guests. Definitely coming again!
