The place is nicely decorated and service is efficient. Sadly the Kartoffelknödel was store bought and tasted wrong, and I got nauseous and threw up later in theo day. The other dishes were fine. In reply to the answer : Food that is badly prepared can be a problem for the digestive system, and I would feel better as a customer if the reply was simply an apology for this mistake.

it is a family run business. A complex of hotel and also independent seniors residential! great combination! They serve buffet breakfast from Monday to Friday, included in the hotel rate. Except during holidays where there is no staff.

The food was fantastic and really tasty! The atmosphere inside is more trendy than perhaps Bavarian but this is certainly made up for by the menu which is slim but well put together. I would recommend this place if you have the money and for a special occasion, it definitely isnt a pretzel and roast chicken establishment! I had wild pig and the meat melted in the mouth, the sauce was delicious and accompanying potatoes crisp yet buttery in the centre. The table service was polite and quick. A smile can be something of a rarity in these parts but he was friendly.

What a lovely place this is. Across the road from the train station. Attended a company evening event. The lounge area is such a lovely place to relax and unwind with a drink. The restaurant food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend coming here to eat and enjoy your evening. Hopefully I will be back here again the next time I visit Germany.

I stayed here last year when I felt the decor was a bit tired. Since there has been a huge refurbishment gone on. The last bits are happening: the wooden stairs were being sanded and revarnished. The rooms have a contemporary feel with wood floors, wood and rattan furniture, up to date bathrooms and comfortable beds. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet is not the largest you may find in Bavaria but perfectly sufficient on a self service basis. The adjacent restaurant offers decent local food. The location is very central opposite the local S-Bahn station to Munich and just yards from the lakeside and its long promenade. Easy access to shops and the departure point for lake boat cruises. Our room faced the road, and earplugs were provided, but not needed.

Excellent hotel accommodations! Rooms were the best of all of our time in Europe! Enjoyed the spa and the breakfast was incredible! We also had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed that immensely! Very convenient walk to the small town there or to the S8 line or bus line to Andechs. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay at this property again!

Visited there only for having lunch. Unfortunately I found many pieces of hair in my dish. I dont create a drama normally seeing a single piece of hair in my dish, it can happen, but seeing 5 pieces with the first look I lost my apetite and couldnt eat anything. I did not like how the waiter handled the situation either, he took my plate said another is coming but I did not want it and that was it, no apologies.

We spend 3 nights in this hotel during a training and I need to say that I was disappointed by the low value!||||The business model is a mix of hotel, seminars and assistted living for the elderies. So expect to meet some older (some really old) folks at lunch and dinner. I personally have no problem with that. What I can only evaluate as "acceptable" are relatively old rooms (furniture, decor from 60ies) and - this makes me to to really downrate this place - are the extremely poor matresses (too soft). The pillows were the chepest available (Polyester 5€ at IKEA) and the sheet was also very thin. ||Bathrooms have been "updated" recently but they only changed some key elements like toilett and sink to make it look optically better....||||another downside of this hotel is the cuisine: I can't judge on the ala-carte menu but the catering we were served in buffet style during lunch and dinner was extremly poor: overcooked vegetables and stews, salad sleves not cut smaller - the canteen at our working place is much better!||||Breakfast is very limited continental, not worth more than 5€ - good coffee machine!!||||Also remember that due to the old wooden windows (70ies?) you can hear trucks and e.g. street cleaning machines from aorund 7am. Also noise from corridor is hearable all the time (they provide ear plugs by default!!)||||We paid around 100€ for the room incl. breakfast and ca. 30€ für each catering incl. drinks. I think these rates are by far too high for what they offered!!!||||Location next to railways station but not next to lake! Wifi was fast but very unstable||||Not reommended
