Where to Eat at the US Open 2024 | Bon Appétit

"One of the tournament’s primary enclosed stadiums, recommended for first-time visitors who want access to big-name matches and nearby upscale dining; it also houses sit-down restaurants and culinary activations that cater to splurge meals and seafood-forward options during the main draw." - ByCathy Erway

Great experience here a few years back. Facilities are kept pretty clean despite the large crowds and food is readily available. We were first timers and really enjoy both a women and men match back to back. Incredible to see Nadal still at his peak back in the day. Have since prefer to watch in the comfort of our home but def good to go at least once to see a match. Nothing beats a live performance.

We had a great time at the dc open. The food options were pretty good. Bring a seat cushion. The stadium definitely needs some tlc. Decaying concrete and exposed rebar in several places, but then simple things they could have attended to and didn't, like picking up the trash in the stands from the night before or power washing the stands before a big event.

We had a great time at the US Open this year. There was somewhat decent food options are available in and around the stadium. Parking was difficult. The only disappointment was how noisy it is during the game. Gone are the days when the stadium was virtually silent during game play time. Most people respect the game and refrain from talking or causing disturbances during game play. But many people don’t have a clue. They think they’re at football game!! They can’t help themselves from talking to others, chatting on their phones or posting to social media during the game. I wish people respect the game and enjoy it instead of ruining it for everyone else.

First and dream experience of watching a tennis match live at the US Open! Superb facilities and crowd management! Once you have Arthur Ashe tickets, you have access to watch any match at any court! During the break at Arthur Ashe, we went to see the match at Louis Armstrong which was a great experience! Overall a superb experience for a first time visitor at a Grandslam tennis match! 🎾 ( The best atmosphere is in the Night sessions, dont miss that)!

Google
The Arthur Ash Stadium and facilities are top notch. We watched both the women’s and men’s finals. The stadium has unbelievable views no matter where you are sitting. Outside the stadium they had amazing food choices, great vendors, and the atmosphere was out of this world. Everyone was happy and enjoying all of the festivities. I highly suggest attending a tennis match anytime you get the chance here.

A studio where history is created every year.extremely well managed. Lot of restrooms on each floor, restaurants, escalators, elevators, free water fountains & dedicated seats .care should be taken to avoid the sun while booking seats for the day session. Lot of parking, check for the details in the US Open website for Conflict day schedule.no smoking. Take your essentials in a transparent backpack.Stores inside are expensive. Food trucks are outside of the BJK Tennis arena.

The entire grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center are quite nice. There are plenty of places to sit, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere of the U.S. Open. Arthur Ashe Stadium is the crown jewel of the Center. The history alone is worth the visit. As you would expect for big events, such as the U.S. Open, the grounds are very busy and crowded. Definitely give yourself plenty of extra time. On the day that I visited, it was about a 40 minute trip on the 7 line from Times Square plus another 10 minute walk to get into the grounds.

Google
Such a fantastic experience visiting the US Open Fan Week. Entry is free and you can get seats in the front row, seeing players as close as you would otherwise not be able to. We saw Alcaraz, Djokovic, and more. Amazingly well organized and the staff is extremely friendly. They even have free portable chargers for your phones that you can borrow.

Yelp
This was my first time at this stadium and I was thoroughly impressed. Disclosure, I'm not a sports fan but will check out a live game for entertainment. My mother is a die hard tennis fan so I am aware of some of the players because of her. I accompanied a coworker to one of the fan games before the actual US open tournament started. Honey, this place was jam packed. I couldn't believe how many people from all walks of life were in attendance. We walked around and my friend purchased an US Open long sleeve shirt that cost about $160 . I was shocked but he said these were the regular prices and he attends every year. I just window shopped. lol. There were several vendors where you could purchase outside the stadium. After we ate we went inside the actual stadium and it was beautiful. It reminded me of a concert event with the amount of people in the seats. We had some decent seats and I really enjoyed watching the quick matches. The seats were comfortable and just the energy from the game felt cool. I would definitely return to watch a full set of tennis.

Yelp
As a native NYer, I have to admit that this past August was my very first time visiting Arthur Ashe Stadium. Named after well renowned African American Tennis player Arthur Ashe, the Only Black Man to WIN the singles title @ Wimbledon. The stadium is the largest tennis stadium in the world. Originally built in 1997 and then renovated in 2016 with the addition of a retractable roof. The tennis complex is truly an experience. I had the opportunity to attend fan week @ the 2024 US Open and see booth Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka. Overall a great time and a proud black girl moment! The US Open Village is also a must. Capitalism at its best but worth exploring. Several vendors so arrive early and plan to spend the day. Just A Note: Even if you don't score tickets, the village is worth a visit and you can view some of the matches on screens while in the village. Just note once you enter the stadium there is no re-entry.

Yelp
What a fun time at Arthur Ashe Stadium! Attended the U.S. Open practice day for free here and it was a fun time. We were a group of 6+ 1 kid and we never had issues finding seating or something entertaining. They had people walking around on stilts, people blowing giant bubbles, a karaoke stage for kids and about 4 pro shops to get merch. I didn't realize how many courts were here either (I noticed about 12) so we bounced around from practice to practice to catch the players we wanted to see like Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff! The pro shops were a bit expensive and you supposedly had to enter and exit a certain way, and only one time did we get stopped for going the in an exit.. only to see the person manning it leave and people began entering there. There was food and drink available for purchase as well and we got a hot dog and some water ... it was decently priced. This stadium entrance is right off the subway so it was very easy to navigate!

Yelp
Thank you to the USTA for a fan week access. Seeing the inside of this renowned stadium with top tennis players working out during the US Open 2024 was a memorable experience. The newly renovated, big and wide stadium with Glenn's okay having great time watching the plays was a wonderful sight. I will definitely return to watch for a real match.

Yelp
Appreciated watching the 2024 US Open Tennis match at Flushing Meadows, Queens, NYC. I usually go on the evening of September 2nd/Labor Day to watch both the women and men singles and I always sit in section 306. I find sitting here will give you an excellent view of the tennis court. It was a nice experience to see fellow New Yorkers and visitors enjoying themselves! I also appreciated their grey goose signature drinks. Noticed they had a few different vendors there this time around as well!

Yelp
Its been a few years since I've attended the US Open, but attending the first round this year during a day session was great. My seats were only full sun for a short time, which was a great opportunity to grab a pizza and Honey Duce at Eatlay. The food options on the courtside level were numerous with lots of variety. I wanted to explore the grounds more as there have been several additions since my last visit, but honestly it was way too crowded to comfortably browse the public spaces, which was disappointing. Pro tip, if you want one of the Amex radios dont wait on the epic line in the plaza, there was an Amex booth on the courtside level where i got the radio with no wait.

Yelp
Great experience for the US Open. It's very organized and easy to access from the subway. Plenty of venues, shopping, venues, food, beverages and places to sit. They even have phone charging. The bathrooms are clean as well. The stadium is steep so it's not for the faint of heart and be prepared to walk a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
So much history!! Truly hallowed grounds where so many legends of the game have walked through and created magical moments. I got to witness the women's final courtside last night and what a magical night to see Coco pull off an incredible victory. The first set was a washout and done in 20 minutes and it looked like Ivan Drago fighting Rocky in the early rounds. I thought the whole match would be done in 40 minutes. But just like Rocky did, she came back and won in the end!!! I am so thankful to be able to witness that in person. Also cool to see KD a couple of seats away and some other celebrities all cheering hard for Coco.

Yelp
Great arena! We came here for the US Open, and it was spellbinding! Quite pricey (everything) but this comes with the territory. Parking wasn't bad at all, and the overall operation was decently organized.

Yelp
It was our first time here to watch the US Open and it was phenomenal. All the work that went behind the scenes to put this event on is mind blowing and awesome. I cannot imagine how much there is to think about every single step. The food I can say could have been a bit better but on such a grand scale, it's difficult to serve anything great. Plus I think people want fast and quick and this is America...land of the fast and quick. Was great to have different vendors though and choices. The drink of the US Open was colorful and you get the glass cup but to pay $22 for it was phenomenal!! Lol The whole event to see players you watch from far away but just feet away from you was something so spectacular. Definitely something to think about it you're into tennis. This was a spectacular and a day I will never forget.

Yelp
The Flushing Meadow Corona Park is larger than I expected there is lots of smaller courts, restaurants, shops along the way as well as large seating area to relax. Sometimes they have promotional give aways - I snagged a la roche posay sunscreen after forgetting to bring some. When it comes to the Arthur Ashe Stadium itself - it seats about 24000, and even sitting near the highest point you can still get a decent view of the tennis ball. I would definitely look into guides online that talk about seating so you know which side will and won't have sun. My biggest downside to this stadium are: 1) the numbering is VERY confusing it is hard to determine which section you are in (they should paint in large each section) because multiple people (including myself) went to the wrong section initially 2) Drinks & food (as expected) are extremely expensive (~22 a custom drink, ~14 for a Heineken beer) 3) The top of the arena can close in case of rain/darkness BUT it is very slow and play does not stop during the arena closing which can be annoying because of lighting changes and sounds from the roof closing but players are expected to continue serving while waiting for multiple minutes for it to finish tl;dr: seating can be confusing, you can see the ball even at the farthest seats, find a seating chart/guide that avoids sun

Yelp
The stadium where history is made. Be it on court or off (esp. night sessions). Humidity is high and for most mortals, one will be walking allot of steps to their seats. The only stadium you would contemplate, "if I leave now, I don't know if I'd be coming back", esp. for those who are watching day matches in the blazing sun.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
Registered online for screenshot QR code for Arthur Ashe Stadium Experience. Was able to see tops pros practice unclose with free admission. The practice schedule is released the night before. Medvedev was elegance in motion, Swiatek battled Wozniacki and Venus Williams may soon retire. Be prepared. The sun can be oppressive.

Yelp
I can't say I'm a huge tennis fan, but this is an absolutely incredible venue, and I'd encourage anyone who has an opportunity to see a match here to do it. It was clean, it was cool (temperature-wise), and the food options were solid, albeit expensive. I'd love to come back for another U.S. Open match!
google avatar

Cristina J.

Yelp
I love this stadium, I'm actually a graphic designer and the USTA is a client for my job. If you ever do visit be sure to wear sneakers because the walking you will do to each court is a lot! During the off season you are able to use the court facilities, during the US Open which is only 2 weeks long it's a whole different story. So many vendors are at the location from food, American Express, and even gear representing the US Open. Just a beautiful piece of real estate for sure def go check it out during the US Open tennis fan or not

Yelp
So glad to be back. Only vaccinated allowed. But checking of vaccine cards were a bit lax! No ID, just vaccine card. .. We Got cheap opening night Arthur Ashe 2021 opening night tkts. The cast of the Broadway show Moulin Rouge performed 2 songs n the national anthem! How awesome is that!!! The stadium was hot n humid n no breeze. But who cares!! we were at the US Open. We got there early to browse n hang and have a drink at the Amex lounge near court 17. It is Awesome place to take pics. We saw Osaka win her 1st match. It was a awesome night!

Yelp
Came for fan week. Such a fun place to watch Djokovic warm up. Hot in the sun. Find shade.

Yelp
I attended AEW Grand Slam on Wednesday the 22nd. Holy hell, what a show! Thank you Tony Khan!!! But let's talk about the venue. Sight lines are absolutely perfect for any event, whether it's rasslin' or tennis (which this stadium is apparently used for...) I was in one of the last rows but could see everything totally fine. It's one of those venues where the seats go up as opposed to out, so it's a very intimate setting. Here's the problem.. it's very much a "class system" and the venue was very unprepared for 20,000 fans. If you splurge on the club level seats, you have a huge variety of food and beverage options, many of which could be considered gourmet... However, if you were in the upper/promenade level, it's hot dogs, sausages, pretzels and a small selection of beer. I'm told they also had some off-brand seltzer's, but I wouldn't know because they ran out before the event even started. Plus the venue wasn't exactly built for 20,000+, and as you would expect there were looooong lines for the bathrooms and merchandise stands. In summary, it's a great place to watch an event, but pay up for the club level if you want to be comfortable and taken care of.

Yelp
Was here last night for an event. What to say? The grounds are clean. The seats are roomy and comfortable, though the seating is quite confusing. The concessions? An absolute nightmare. Waited on a line for one whole hour for two beers and a soda. By the time it was my turn only Amstel and Heineken were offered and it was warm. Nothing like warm beer. Especially after waiting an hour. There was absolutely no organization to the lines. Lines everywhere. Lines so cluttered that you could barely ambulate to get to your section. The roof was closed and air conditioning was operating at a minimum. Not sure if ill ever return. *shrug* Perhaps maybe invest in vendors throughout the stadium? It'll cut the lines down for sure leaving to much safer conditions.
google avatar

L L.

Yelp
The stadium is nice but the lines for the concession stands and bathroom are a nightmare during the breaks in the game. They charged $22 for a specialty drink and for that money, they should have designed the purchasing experience a bit better. My company has 2 suites at US Open and the experience is entirely different. I guess money does make one's life better :-)

Yelp
Amazing event. We will be sure to be back every year. You get awesome perks by being a AMEX Platinum card holder with the lounge included and free goodies. We like to book the Labor Day weekend but not the last few days since we like to see all courts being used and spend the whole 3-4 days watching players we wouldn't normally see. Buy tickets in advance and enjoy the USOpen!!

Yelp
Arthur Ashe tennis stadium is a great venue, being the largest in the world. The stadium seats over 23,700 and has a state of the Art retractable ceiling costing $150 million. It is truly an amazing design and you have a good view even from the highest distant seats. I get vertigo if seated too far up in the 'nose bleed' section, so we get tickets in the halfway mark. Note: US Open Tennis tickets can be pricey. During these challenging times of the pandemic, we truly miss partaking attending these wonderful sporting events. For now, we will enjoy them on the home tv screen, and send cheers to our favorite players on the "Fan Cam" which you can access on the US OPEN app on your smartphone. Thank you, Amex ! :) Who is your favorite tennis star this year? Right now we are cheering for Naomi Osaka of Japan. Naomi loves New York, although born in Japan, she grew up here where her parents met. She is half Japanese and Haitian, and a very sharp talented star player! Go Naomi!

Yelp
I used to watch a lot of tennis growing up because my dad enjoyed watching and one of my sisters played. I was most into tennis in the 90s during the days of Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, and Michael Chang. I also appreciated John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors through highlights and replays at the time. While my dad's interest in tennis never waned, mine did when I moved away. However, I still kept up with the sport on the periphery and recognized and appreciated the dominance of guys like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic. We watched the women too -- Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, and Serena and Venus Williams. I think tennis players may be the best athletes among all sports. This year (2020), my dad and I happened to be together for a good chunk of the US Open so we watched quite a bit together. I probably wouldn't have tuned in if he wasn't around. What a year for me to tune back in. This year's US Open was unique and stood out to me for three big reasons: 1. There were no fans. Like the WWE, the USTA followed the NBA's lead and set up virtual fans in the stands. Still, no sports league/organization has done virtual fans better than the NBA has to date, in my opinion. 2. Favorite and No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic, winner of 17 Grand Slam singles titles, got disqualified from the tournament for inadvertently hitting a line judge in the neck with a ball during his fourth-round match against Pablo Carreno Busta. Video: https://youtu.be/XRuu2-VIw5o. 3. The championship match between No. 2 seed Dominic Thiem and No. 5 seed Alexander Zverev was one for the record books. Thiem became the first player in the US Open era, which began in 1968 (from 1881 to 1967, it was the US National Championships), to win after dropping the first two sets. The final score for Thiem was 2-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6 (6). Thiem became the first player to win a major final in the US Open from two sets down since Pancho Gonzales in 1949. The trophy presentation was hard to watch from Zverev's perspective. I could tell the guy was really hurting and understandably so. On the women's side, Naomi Osaka won her second US Open title and third major singles title overall. Congratulations to Dominic and Naomi!

Yelp
Came here for the 2021 US Open; RO 16; which was on a Monday afternoon/evening on labor day. We were section 118. The section has a great center view with a panoramic view of the entire court vs just the side. The view had no obstructions. We had a great view of the entire tennis match and good visuals. The entry and exit was quick especially during changeovers. Lots of options for food and drinks (Ben and Jerry's, prime burger, grey goose, etc) food was typical stadium quality and prices, but they were open late. Audio quality was not great, but out visual view was so good, we did not need to rely on the audio Parking was quick as we came early and there was plenty of space available Covid vaccine card and bag check were quick and efficient. Overall, great experience! Would recommend especially for our sections.

Vivian L.

Yelp
Great experience! The parking lot is a bit far but the stadium is very accessible on the 7 line.

Diana M.

Yelp
We have been coming to the US open for years now. It's definitely gotten more and more packed with people. We went to an evening match and the stadium was not cleaned from the event before. There was food and drink all over the seats. The lines inside Ashe for drinks and snacks were 30+min wait. People were getting 3 drinks at a time so they don't have to go back. And wine and cocktails are all 19$+. It just seems excessive. They aren't even measuring full pours into the glasses. The games themselves are amazing and we are so lucky to be able to go. But for the price we are now paying for tickets, and then if you pay parking or the train on top of the waters (8$) or hats (40$) a keychain 14$, it's hard to wrap your head around the pricing. And if we are expecting to shell out that amount, you'd expect the venue to be cleaner and more accessible. There weren't even ushers in certain sections and people were seat hoping all over the place and standing in front of the bars blocking other peoples view. I've been to MSG, met life, Barclays. Citi field. And this definitely takes the cake for most overpriced. Bag of chips: 9$. Go, but plan to spend.
google avatar

Celine J.

Yelp
This was a great experience! Came on opening night & proof of Covid vaccine was required. It was great to see N. Osaka in person playing tennis oppose to watching from the tv screen. The drinks were very expensive and mostly served wine & Rose. One glass varies from $16.60 to $30. Having an Amex card is highly recommended for perks, free items & using the snack store.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
Another bucket list checked off. Short fused long weekend trip to watch some of the tennis greats. We were able to get last minute seats, not quite nose bleed, but only 10 rows short of them. Still able to see the tiny ant sized match players and they have them on the big screens. It was a toasty early September day, sun was fully out and it was hot in the stadium. We downed a lot of frozen cocktail drinks to keep us cooled down. Was able to get some air and protection from under the sun by their food court area. The complex is quite big, lots of activities to pass time between matches. We were able to watch and get to the lower bowl during the women's matches.
google avatar

Ric T.

Yelp
This is the definitive tennis stadium for the US Open Grand Slam Tournament. You will see the top tennis players in the world competing against each other every year in late August-early Sept on the Billy Jean King campus in Flushing Meadows, Queens, NY. The stadium is very nice, with its retractable roof and really nice views of the tennis court. Large screen TVS are on all corners. The stands are ok. Bring something to snack on. Of course, prices will be inflated here. Be prepared to wait in queues.
google avatar

Mitzi W.

Yelp
It's so nice to watch the matches in the newly covered (retractable) stadium. There's even misters when it get warm to cool off the spectators. Even if you are sitting in nosebleed, you still have a decent view of the game. A bit of a hike to get into the stadium's too sections. Food lines were busy but I brought mine from the kiosks outside the stadium. Apparently this is the largest stadium in the country to watch tennis. Very popular event!
google avatar

Yelp
Arthur Ashe Stadium should be on everyone's list of places to visit at least once in their lifetime. I've been to this stadium twice to watch the U.S. Open and more recently (2021) the U.S. Open Women's Finals. There is a large variety of food options, outdoor seating and restaurants with balconies to just lounge. Prices can be a bit steep for snacks and drinks, but it's expected for this type of event and venue. The best way to get in and out of Arthur Ashe is via subway or LIRR. The stadium is right by Citifield in Queens. I do not recommend driving/parking there or trying to catch an Uber/Lyft as the traffic was a nightmare (we had multiple Ubers cancel our trips and ended up taking the LIRR which got us home much faster). I hope that I'll be able to attend the U.S. Open every year while I live in New York City.
google avatar

Jay L.

Yelp
Great stadium, not a long wait to check in but only one concession stand per level. Hella frustrating if you're just making it on time or something four before an event begins. Have been on line for 40 minutes already. Y'all gotta do better with that.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
In a world where world-class sporting events treat live spectators like burnt offerings to the television gods, the US Open is remarkably fan-friendly with reasonably priced tickets especially in the early rounds. For comparison, try wandering off on your own at the SuperMax fortress otherwise known as the Super Bowl and see if you have what it takes to stand up to the phalanx of security and their omnipresent tasers. While the pandemic has sidelined live attendance in 2020, in any other year, the USTA's premier event is a great way to spend the day roaming between courts and the seemingly endless array of food and sponsor related experiences. Sure, you might drop a Benjamin on a burger and whatever imported beer has paid the freight for corporate sponsorship but the site itself is expansive, constantly reinforcing a relaxed vibe. Here's hoping that the 2021 tournament returns to some semblance of normalcy and plagues of frogs and locusts are not in the offing. The US Open is a great way to spend a day or evening even if you're a casual fan... or not a fan at all.

Yelp
For tennis fans in the US, Arthur Ashe is the mecca. Named after one of the sport's greatest and most influential players, it is the world's largest indoor tennis stadium. As the main site of the US Open, it is the home of world class tennis and the finest hard court on the planet. Built over 20 years ago, the stadium's recent renovations have put it in a league of its own. The most significant change from several years ago was the completion of the retractable roof, ensuring that weather not affect any important match ever again. Surprisingly there isn't really a bad seat in the house. I was once nervous that I wouldn't be able to follow the ball from the nosebleeds but the blue color of the court softens the strain of spotting the ball in live action. During late night matches with people leaving, I'd sneak on down to the front row and marvel at the pros up close. It is such an incredible thing to witness. As part of the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, it is one of the most impressive sporting venues I've ever seen. I look forward to attending the Open each year and beam with pride knowing that folks have to step into the borough of Queens to see the magic happen.

Yelp
It was my first time at the US Open. I didn't know they had GROUND tickets where you get access to the stadium but don't actually go in side to sit down & watch the match. They have large screens and tables & chairs around the stadium where you can watch. It was actually fun. Tons of food options, bbq, Korean bbq, Indian, seafood, ice cream, Mexican, sushi etc. There are numerous bars and a couple of sit down restaurants.

Yelp
I came to Arthur Ashe the other night for the first time to attend the US Open. I'll be honest in saying I don't have much authority when judging stadium accommodations; for the most part my exposure has been limited to the old and new Yankee Stadium so I can only go by what I've experienced. The seating and views at Arthur Ashe were very nice. I was on the loge level and had a great view of the court and the monitors. The stadium isn't too large and it was relatively easy to find your way around. Outside the stadium there was a food area which had a number of vendors including Fuku fried chicken (part of the Momofuku family). Inside, they also had a nice selection of food and souvenir shops. I will say because of the relatively small size of the stadium, if it's crowded then it can be a little difficult walking around the perimeter. However, the struggles were minimal. Overall, Arthur Ashe is a really well kept stadium, perfect for tennis. I look forward to returning for future US Open tournaments =)

Yelp
This is a huge stadium that can feel impersonal at times. I had daytime seats that were high up and it was weird because there were lots of open seats, even though it was the Round of 16 on Labor Day. The main benefit to being so high up was it was in the shade! I felt cooler! I did not need to bring sunglasses or a hat! With a ticket to Arthur Ashe, I was able to watch matches on the Grandstand and outer courts too. That was nice because for the Round of 16, there were only 2 daytime matches. Contrastingly, I stayed for the night session too. It was Sharapova's first nighttime loss at the US Open and it was packed for her as well as Federer vs. Millman afterwards. Some famous people in attendance that night? Kevin and Joe Jonas and their significant others (Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner), Bill Clinton, Steve Kerr, Aziz Ansari (why is he still relevant), Anna Wintour, and more! That was cool. The main highlight of being on Ashe was the atmosphere. It seemed the whole stadium was pulling for Federer and it was just amazing vibes hearing a few Aussies yelling for Millman. That match made the packed crowds, cost, time, sun, and late night worth it.

Yelp
Another year at the US Open, and I am still not a fan of getting tickets to watch any tennis matches from this stadium. Unless you got wealthy connections or going on company money, you're most likely sitting in the nosebleeds and you can't even see the match happening. The atmosphere is amazing, but I find myself watching the TV screen more than the match itself in front of me because I can't see a damn thing. If you can afford to sit in the 100 and 200 section, good for you. For everyone else, you can catch the top 25 players on just a grounds pass at the other courts and venues for hundreds less.

Yelp
We came here for US open and it was fantastic. The nosebleed sets are actually much better than I expected. It's a lot more vertical distance up vs further back so the court doesn't seem too far away. You can still easily follow the action and since it's so high up you can also talk during the game We saw Federer, Nishikori, Djokavic play so that was definitely a highlight. Security was a breeze. If you don't bring a bag it was extremely quick to get in and out.

Yelp
This stadium is a must visit place! I came here for the US open, the stadium offered a lot of activities and fun. The only think I wish they had was cushy chairs lol. All of the food selections were on point. Parking around the stadium was kinda confusing but once you made it in..... no complaints! The amex lounges were a bit lots of free food and good vibes!

Yelp
The mecca of US tennis and largest tennis stadium in the world. I always love it when the US Open rolls around because that means Arthur Ashe Stadium is open for business! Arthur Ashe Stadium was definitely a game changer when it first opened at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and US tennis hasn't looked back. The stadium is as big as it looks on TV and the new retractable roof adds a new cool dimension to it. OK, so the players look like ants when you sit at the top, but tickets are always reasonably priced for the top sections during the opening rounds of the US Open. You basically get what you pay for and that's all we can ask for. My recommendation though is to try to buy tickets for seats that overlook the court from the ends instead of the sides or your head will become a swivel all night going left to right to left to right to left to right .... you get my drift. Ticket prices don't vary that much between end and side sections at the stadium, especially in the top deck. Other than that tip, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

Yelp
My daughter is graduating today Thursday May 25. Fashion Institute of Technology's is having the ceremony here at Arther Ashe Stadium. Whoever designed the roads to get into the stadium should be fired. There was construction, one lane into the parking lot and only 2 boots collecting money to park. There was no one directing traffic and they had very few signs. It was total mayhem. Luckily I dropped my passengers off before I parked. It was at least a 10 to 15 minute walk in the rain to get to the stadium. Why would anyone design a stadium where the parking lot is so far away. While I was taking my unnecessary long walk to the stadium, there were many girls wearing high heels maneuvering around puddles of water and mud. This is not not a sporting event where people were dressed down, it was a graduation ceremony where many people were dressed very well. I don't know why the college decided to have it here, everyone was complaining about the parking and the traffic. And to add insult to injury they were pumping cold air into the stadium where most people are wet from the rain. So much for a stadium with the roof. Fashion Institute of Technology really did not think this through, but that's for another review of the college!

Yelp
I went to an All Elite Wrestling show at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 20, 2023. Where do I begin? I took Lyft both ways because I was unsure of the parking situation and the cost. I think I overheard someone say it was around $60 to park, which made me glad I took a Lyft since it was a cheaper. I got dropped off in the parking lot and literally had to walk a mile just to get to the stadium & enter! Makes me feel bad if someone has a disability or problems walking getting from the parking lot to the stadium! Getting to the stadium from the parking lot was like a maze, having to walk along a boardwalk & having to go up several ramps to get to the boardwalk. Maybe offer a shuttle bus to get there? UBS arena offers shuttle buses to those who park in the further away parking lot. Getting to my section once in wasn't bad but the seats are hard, uncomfortable and squished together, making people literally right on top of each other. While the show itself was fine & I enjoyed it, I wouldn't go to an event here again due to getting to the stadium and the seat situation. Maybe time for an overhaul?

Yelp
I've been to Arthur Ashe stadium once in 2014. Another time in 2018 I go to the US open but not in Arthur Ashe stadium. I remember when I ate the food for whatever reason I had to vomit immediately after eating the food. I saw John Isner playing someone else in Ashe stadium. I think a lot of the prices in souvenirs and meals are a big rip off. I remember end up spending about $70 for entry and about $15 on food and drinks both times. I bought a tennis ball for $5. The Arthur Ashe stadium is walkable distance from the 7 train. I think it's only about a half mile from Citifield stadium.

Yelp
Stadium is a zoo. If you've been to any professional tennis match, and then visit the US open at Arthur Ashe stadium, you will facepalm and feel embarrassed by the display that American "sports fans" put on at the US Open. First, there's a constant and lingering chatter noise the entire time you are in Arthur Ashe, it does not go away, we don't know how to be quiet and appreciate the sport. Second, we sat in the promenade (not knowing as it was not advertised) but there are no rules around fans walking up and down aisles in the middle of points. Fine, I'm sure the fans would at least be respectful enough to wait until after points- nah! If there's a long point, forget it.. Steve and Joe and Karen are walking up with 12 hot dogs and 6 pizzas and they forgot where they're sitting.. They should've advertised this when we spent several hundred dollars to watch the tennis.

Yelp
Beautiful stadium but carefully plan going home if you're visiting. Took me at least 1 hour just to wait for a taxi. Share rides are abundant and expensive but even then it takes long to find your share ride with the sheer demand of share rides. Glad tho that I went to the US Open! What an experience!

Yelp
Great tennis stadium and grounds! We went to the 2021 US Open women's semis and finals and had a great time. Even if you're in the seats up high you still have a good view of the court. Restrooms and grounds were super clean. Employees very nice and helpful.

Yelp
*** Wow, this stadium is H-U-G-E ... one-of-a-kind. *** This feels almost like attending a pro football game. (0_o) Crowd was alive, funny & spirited. The Flushing Meadows' grounds is like a college campus for tennis. A full day event. *** Williams over Azarenka for her 5th US Open title 2013. ***

Yelp
Arthur Ashe Stadium is a staple amongst tennis fans. For the past four years. I have had the privilege of being in a suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Most of the time that I'm in the area I'm here for a Mets game you can literally walk from Citi Field to Arthur Ashe Stadium it is extremely close. The U.S. Open happens here every single year there are multiple areas where tennis matches occur on the grounds. Arthur Ashe Stadium is the big stadium in the complex where most of the major matches happen. I'm not the biggest tennis fan in the world but I do respect how hard it is to actually play tennis it's very taxing on the body it's also very difficult to Play tennis for about two hours each match. This year the U.S. Open was sponsored by gray goose so in the suite they had a really nice gray goose area they were pouring double shots which I was pretty impressed with for the price it was $16 for a single shot. I was constantly getting a double the match started at 11 AM the staff was extremely courteous and kind I was very impressed. Sweet seats are not cheap but I would recommend them to anyone that can afford the opportunity to go. Overall Arthur Ashe Stadium is a great place to see a match. I would recommend anybody coming here to go see the U.S. Open they do come once a year here and regardless if you're actually at Arthur Ashe or if you're at a different field on the complex it's still something to be a part of and see.
