The location of this hotel is perfect. Food is right outside the door and an easy walk to all of our favorite spots. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They offer afternoon 'happy hour' that was very nice (we didn't eat breakfast there). The dining room and lounge were beautiful - would have hung out there on a longer stay. Our room was very comfortable and well layed out. The bathroom was very clean. The shower didin't have a full door and hanging space was a little sparse. There was major construction next door but work stopped at 4 pm sharp. We got a free concert one evening. Couldn't see the stage - beautiful music!

This is our home base when we are in Jerusalem, and as always - best in class! The service, the quality, the beauty and comfort. It is very unusual to maintain high level for years. Thank you for a wonderful hospitality! Until the next time.

I had a wonderful experience at Arthur Hotel. It is in an amazing location. You are within walking distance of everything. The old city is 10 minutes away. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean and super cute. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Arthur is a lovely hotel in a central location, but what really sets it apart is its staff, particularly Mor and Mahmood. Unbelievably kind and helpful, they went WAY BEYOND what one would reasonably expect. Because of them, I would not think about staying anywhere else when I'm in Jerusalem.

Took hubby, son and girlfriend for a weekend downtown . Although it was very cold outside, the hotel was warm, cosy and welcoming. Our rooms were very clean and well equipped. We had one terrace room and one balcony room. Very comfortable beds, nice toiletries, hot water, decent cupboard space , nice view and quiet on weekends (see below). Good breakfast. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond . |So why not five stars? I wish I could give 4 and a half: the hotel does not look spruced up, from the entrance door which could do with a good lick of paint to the grouting in the bathroom; no teaspoons - how is somebody meant to eat a yoghourt - with a table spoon or those annoying wooden sticks? And no proper coffee machine in the breakfast room (also on Sunday, not just on Shabbat). Small things but I felt the lack of them. |Beware - there are significant building works in the adjacent building which is being teared down apart from the facade . The noise starts at eight am weekdays. I would suggest enquire before booking. |It was a nice weekend all in all.
