Stayed here to celebrate my birthday and we had the most wonderful time. The place has so much charm. It’s within walking of downtown and Glen Helen Nature Preserve. Our suite was cozy. The linens were top notch. Breakfast was beyond amazing. The living room with the fireplace was a lovely place to spend our evenings. We can’t wait to go back as this place is special!!

We absolutely loved it here! The Main Street shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Everything feels very homey and welcoming. The rooms and common areas are super clean - cleaner than anywhere we’ve ever stayed! I actually felt comfortable walking barefoot in our suite. The toiletries, towels, and linens were all high-end brands. Suite 1 has plush robes which were comfy and warm. The breakfasts were all delicious and I love that they had water available for us all day. Everyone was so friendly and knew who were - it felt like we were staying with friends. I just can’t say enough good things! We will definitely be back. Planning our trip already 😁

I can't say enough about how much I loved this place. I grew up around the Dayton area so I have never stayed in Yellow Springs overnight. I had car trouble and had to find a place to stay quickly. The Arthur Morgan house came to my rescue. I was with my girlfriend and this was a great way to turn disaster into a romantic night. The atmosphere here is exactly what you would expect in Yellow Springs; arts, crafts, amazing food, friendly, good conversation, etc. Everything was super clean. The bed was comfortable. The heat worked well. They had the best hotel soap I've ever used. I spent a good bit of time looking around, and still didn't see everything. The owner really makes the place. She was so friendly, and interesting. I wish I could have stayed all day just chatting with her. I'm not a breakfast person, but she made the best scrambled eggs and bacon I've ever had. I'll be back in the spring for sure.

Made a lovely stay for a short honeymoon. We ended up with the entire house to ourselves for two days. The house is beautiful and the owner and staff are fantastic. Not enough good things can be said about them. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. Very short walk from all the shops and interesting village that is Yellow Springs. Such a warm and welcoming town. The only down fall is that we had to leave so soon. But we will most certainly return. Kevin and Heather

We enjoyed our stay. The house & grounds were lovely. You had full use of the ground floor & a screened in porch. Top quality bath supplies and inviting rooms. Had a menu with 3 main breakfast choices along with sides. Coffee & tea available as self serve allowing you to take it with you.

Had a great long weekend here with friends. The place was perfectly maintained. Breakfasts were great. Bed was very comfortable. There is a large common area and we were free to use it to hang our or even bring back carryout dinner food (we were there during COVID). Be aware that the guest rooms are on the second and third floor which might cause issues for some people, but was fine for us. The hosts provided us with great info on the area (we enjoyed biking in the nearby state park and lots of hiking in Clifton Gorge). Location was close enough to be just a couple block walk but not right in the middle of "main street" which could be noisy. Would readily return.

We had an absolute perfect stay here. Sparking clean. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Stylish. Great unique spaces. Perfect beds and crisp linens. Staff is kind and helpful- knows when to lean in and when to provide space. Food was exceptional. Oh, and our bathroom floor was heated! We stayed as three adult siblings, with a couple adult children. We wanted a place to meet up for 24 hours over the holidays. We each had rooms that for our needs (# of ppl and sleeping arrangements) and the place had perfect gathering spaces for us to chill, enjoy a glass of wine, play cards, etc. We even skipped going out to dinner, ordered in pizza, so we could stay at the spacious dining space as a family. We will be back. Maggie (on site manager), thank you for a delightful stay. PS, Yellow Spring is 100% quaint, walkable, eatable, snackable, shopable. Perfect.

Google
The best lodging in Greene County is tucked away in this corner of Yellow Springs. The Arthur Morgan House is simply a lovely place—clean, hospitable, impeccably decorated in the shared areas as well as in the bedrooms. The details are too many to list, but thought has been put into every nook of this seven-room bed and breakfast. We held our wedding ceremony at the Bed & Breakfast and everything was perfect. The owner, Stacey, and manager, Emily, were easy to work with and made sure our special day went off without any issues. Downtown Yellow Springs is a three minute walk and the Glen is probably only five minutes.

Yelp
Great location! Easy to walk anywhere in town. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting by the fireplace. Coffee was fresh and delicious. Homemade breakfast with the most delicious toast. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have stayed at several bed and breakfasts in OH in the last few years. It is my favorite way to stay when visiting a new place. Specifically, I love feeling like you are visiting a welcoming home, the (typically) delicious home cooked breakfasts, the small special touches, and the hospitality of the hosts. We just did not experience those things here. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained, considering its age. The room (suite 5) was clean and spacious, and we loved relaxing on the screened-in porch at night. I would stay elsewhere on any future trips to Yellow Springs.

Yelp
My wife especially enjoyed the "avian" themed room and reading the book about Audobon and his work. The patio was so pleasant as the hummingbirds flitted about and a deer watched over her two new fawns. The comfort and cleanliness of the facility more than made up for the smallish room. Breakfast was delicious and Maggie made our stay care free. A memorable, sophisticated, adult oriented establishment .

Yelp
We stayed here for my bachelorette party weekend and had the best time! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! You get to fill out little cards with your order the night before and it's ready bright and early to start your day of adventures! It's a short walk to shop, get food, or hike around Yellow Springs. The ambiance is very quaint and peaceful and they have a nice patio on the back with heaters which came in handy. There's also various board games including a Ouija which we obviously could not resist. The town of Yellow Springs itself is one of my favorite places on earth and I could not of imagined having a better place to stay for our trip!

Yelp
The Arthur Morgan House is a beautiful, comfortable, convenient, and hospitable place to stay! It is right in the heart of town, with beautiful rooms, delicious food, and wonderful staff. I can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
We just got home from our third stay. The first was last October, when we ventured out to ride Ohio's rail trails with our new bicycles during the pandemic. Stacy did a superlative job to make our stay risk-free, and it was such a treat to stay in this lovely B&B. Breakfast was so good - I love the coffee Stacy serves - and the house is immaculately clean. We came back twice this May, again with our bikes, so it was like visiting a familiar place. We got rained out of our ride on one of our days so we spent a pleasant afternoon in the 'parlor', reading and drinking wine. We'll be back - you'll love it, too!

Yelp
Cozy, period home with extremely comfortable beds and bath. Breakfast was a 10.0 out of 10.0! Christina's menu, preparation and fresh local ingredients only added to our stay. We loved the location in town. We easily walked everywhere in town and to the Glen Helen Nature Preserve. We will definitely plan to get away here again!

Yelp
We LOVED this bed and breakfast!! They had everything ready for us for a self check-in and our room felt like home. Everything was clean and the bathroom was right across the hall but robes were supplied in our bedroom which made it all the more comfortable. It is right in Yellow Springs which was convenient to walk around and go to dinner and on the trails in the morning. Breakfast was ready at our preferred time and they had something for each of our dietary restrictions! It was delicious and everyone there was so kind. It was a nice little getaway and I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This is a lovely B&B, the rooms clean, quiet and spacious. For an older home it's updated with a comfortable bed, soft linens and great Restoration Hardware towels. The soaps and creams were great. WiFi worked great on the main floor and there were games and social areas where we spent time. The porch is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was amazingly delicious. Chocolate candy, tea, coffee and other snacks were available. Walking distance to downtown Yellow Springs.

Yelp
This B&B is a little slice of heaven. It is cozy and comfy with wonderful proprietors. The location could not be more perfect for strolling in the town morning, noon and night. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds, good water pressure and a modern communal kitchen. A+ all the way!

Yelp
Stacey & Steve have created a wonderful tranquil place to relax & escape from reality! My boyfriend and I stayed in Suite No. 2 for the weekend. The room is located on the second floor with windows over looking the front of the house. The B&B is a quick walk away from adorable Yellow Springs. The breakfast was made from quality ingredients and extremely delicious. Overall our weekend away was relaxing and romantic! I would definitely stay at the Morgan House again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Yellow Springs.

Yelp
This is the quintessential B & B. The hosts Stacy and Christina were friendly and engaging with helpful tips and advise about the activities in Yellow Springs. I will definitely stay again!

George G.

Yelp
Amazing place. Host was super accommodating, down to earth and everything was perfect. Location is great- very close to all the restaurants and shops as well as some biking and hiking trails. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Yelp
Morgan House is Very accommodating and is an extremely clean and beautiful home. Stacy was very nice and a good cook. We will stay again.

Yelp
We love to hike and were drawn to drive north and check out Yellow Springs and the hiking nearby. Call us crazy but we enjoyed a 3 hour hike in the rain in John Bryan State Park. Afterwards we went to our B&B and were pleasantly surprised at the accommodation. They are very welcoming, attentive to detail, and provided a safe and comfortable stay for us. We wish we could have stayed longer! The house itself is well done, the hospitality is well thought out, and the accessibility to everything nearby just right. We plan to return.

Yelp
Spent a Nov l. Weekend here with friends and had an excellent time. The place was spotless. Rooms are very nice and well appointed. Breakfast was excellently prepared. There is a large common living room for socializing or playing games and a large screened in porch. We really enjoyed nearby hikes in the state park and Clifton Gorge preserve. Would return.

Yelp
First time random visit and can not wait to come back!!! Maria was soooo welcoming, had each step carefully planned out for arrival and departure. The breakfast was fantastic and very fresh!!! Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and bars! First time ever stayed in a b&b and will fully recommend this to anyone who mentions yellow springs. Already eagerly looking to book our next visit.

When staying here, you are within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in town, and Glen Helen Nature Preserve. The rooms are very comfortable, and the common areas include a very pleasant living room and a screened in porch. The varied breakfast offerings were delicious. Yelp
My boyfriend and I have started a tradition of staying at Arthur Morgan at least once a year since 2019 (skip on 2020 because of COVID). So, technically our second stay was this past weekend. We love, love, LOVE this charming b&b within walking distance of downtown Yellow Springs. There's so much I could say about how much I love this place! It's a quiet, home-y place. The decorations and interior design look like they could be in an IKEA magazine. I love how they pay attention to the finest of details, my personal favorite being the triangle folds on the toilet paper - actually, perhaps a tie with their message board with your name and suite welcoming you there. I love the process of reserving for your stay online with a small portion of your bill as a sort of security deposit, then the check-in process is basically walking straight to your room and the rest of your bill is charged to the same card you used online after your stay. So hassle-free and a seamless process. Quality towels, bedding, furniture. Every time we walked into our room, we loved the smell of wood and incense. The house has an old with the new feel that we enjoy. They even have nice robes waiting for you in their closets! Also, major props to Christina who prepares amazing, delicious, and unique breakfast food. I've had her ginger pancakes with mandarin oranges and her scrambled eggs with sweet potato and goat cheese. Absolutely delicious. She's so warm and friendly, we always love chatting with her. We have had the private champaign breakfast at each stay too - such a wonderful way to treat yourself. We'll be back for many years to come!

Yelp
Love this B&B ! Clean, comfy, quiet, right off the main drag, easy walks to everything in YS, and your choice of 3 or 4 delicious breakfast choices. No reason not to stay at Arthur Morgan house!

Woodrow P.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our experience at The Morgan House. VERY clean and charming room, extremely friendly and accommodating staff and great location. Only suggestion may be a more elaborate breakfast offering, considering the price.

Ellis B.

Yelp
The Arthur Morgan House turned out to be a very wonderful choice for the overnight trip I had planned with my mother, who lives in Columbus. The house was beautiful from the first sight of it, and once inside even more so, as the owner has a simple design aesthetic which lets the historic house speak for itself. My favorite area was the large screened in porch with its blend of comfort, sophistication and coziness. I was thrilled to find I had it all to myself when I got up in the morning, and enjoyed my coffee (along with that day's NY Times, a nice detail) there. When my mother expressed her preference for breakfasting on the porch rather than in the dining room, the lovely woman who was cooking breakfast, Christina, couldn't have been more accommodating of her wishes. And the breakfast was delicious! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I will encourage my family in Columbus to visit Yellow Springs for a stay here!!
