11/24 We hiked to the bridge today end to end and back. A fantastic walk, good breeze and a little noisy at times. Just over 5 miles. Photos include boat ride after under the bridge. Excellent experience.

🌉 The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is an awesome spot for a ride. 🚴‍♂️ The bike lane is huge, so there’s plenty of space to ride comfortably without dealing with traffic. The views of the harbor are incredible, especially on the climb—it’s a solid effort but totally worth it for the scenery. 🌊 If you’re cycling in Charleston, you’ve got to check this one out.

An absolute "Must do" if ever in Charleston!! Whether you drive over it or walk over it, it's stunning!! We did both and enjoyed a beautiful walk 1/2 way and walked back. It's a bit confusing to find the park because we're not familiar with the area but we found out that we could park at the Citgo station, they accommodate peeps wanting to make the trek. It was a real highlight of our time in Charleston.

We went for a sunset walk and it was stunning 🌅 Had a full program with dolphins, ship traffic, paddle boarders, amazing colors in the sky.

Had the pleasure of doing a morning run across this bridge on vacation!!! It was amazing, would highly recommend. I'm not a fan of heights but did not feel any fear on this awesome bridge! The bikers are A-holes tho.

One of my best experiences during my visit to Charleston. The bridge itself is magnificent and an engineering marvel. If I lived here, I'd want to walk across it daily. Here are a few observations if you're planning to visit: Parking: I did a search for Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park on Google. There are a lot of parking spots located right under the bridge giving you easy access to the path. This is on the Mount pleasant side. Timing: The bridge is 2.5 miles long in one direction. There is an incline as you go up. Plan your timing accordingly based on your level of fitness and if you want to take a lot of photos. Weather: Three miles into the five mile trek, a massive storm blew in and I was soaked. There is nowhere to shelter (not a complaint...... This isn't something you'd expect on a bridge crossing). Check the weather before. The wind picks up very strongly at times so don't wear loose clothing etc.
