Arthur River Beach House

Since there are two apartments next to each other sharing the same cement back, there is no privacy. Also the parking for the downstream apartment is basically in front of the window of the upstream apartment. Inside the plants were half dead, the chairs stacked on the tables. Clean and spacious in the main living area, but 3 small bedrooms, no master bedroom. Contra information, the cupboard to the washing machine was locked, there were no outside umbrellas, and the only air conditioner was in the living room. Also communicating with the owners was very difficult, we had to chase them to find out how to access the apartment. A further question was never answered. The view to the river and ocean is beautiful, but you have to look past the occupiers of the second apartment.

The house is so beautiful. The interior is awesome. A lot of detailing. Alot of light and sun coming from wide windows. The guitar and the saxophone helps to make the stay musical. No comments on the great view of beach and sunset.Single night stay is not sufficient here. No wifi still no worries. We have lots to enjoy. The host had lived there and we can feel it.Thank you so much for being so thoughtful.

We stayed here to do the reflections cruise and the Woolnorth Turbines|The owner generously allowed us to drop our things off early-before the cruise.|I would give the outlook 12 out of 10. For us oldies the shower is over a sml bath, so no walkin-the biggest bed is up a couple of stairs, however there are beds that have no access issues. Although the general area was clean, the previous occupants had obviously cheated with the wash up etc

Stayed here in March for a few days. Loved the Lodge. It's a perfectly positioned well-appointed house with everything you need for a comfortable stay including beautiful expansive views along the rugged coast of Arthur River. We loved the peacefulness of this remote little town plus exploring the wilderness coast and hinterland and seeing lots of native animals including our first Tasmanian Devil!!! We also enjoyed a day cruise on the George Robinson up the Arthur River which I would also recommend. I look forward to staying here again.

Loved this stay in the beach house at Arthur River. Has everything you need, and very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views and you can watch the sunset from the front verandah. Would be great for a family who loves to fish and just relax and do nothing much. A nice big spare room for kids to play around in if the weather is not so kind, and large lounge room with a plenty of seating with large screen tv. Lots of games and puzzles for the kids in the cupboard along with deck chairs, hand lines etc. Take a load of groceries and be set for a relaxing stay.

Lovely relaxed convenient beach house offered just what we needed to further explore the region. Fabulous views from the comfortable lounge dining area. Donna went the extra mile to avoid what could have been a disaster with booking arrangement complications. She even managed to organise excellent weather for the four days. Definitely recommend as an ideal place to stay and explore the Tarkine region.

A wonderful location to watch the river and out to the ocean. We are pleased we chose the Arthur River Reflections cruise as Rob is a long-time local with great knowledge of the area. The house was well equipped but I would like to see pot holders in the kitchen for handling hot pans out of the oven and a hand towel in the kitchen as well as teatowels. There was a barbecue there but it hadn't been used in a long time. There was an efficient slow combustion fire for cooler evenings.

The Tarkine Drive is too far to do justice in a day, and the Arthur River Beach House is a perfect place to stay half way. The house is right on the Arthur River with magnificent views out of the large windows. Its location is quiet, yet an easy drive (or longer walk) to Arthur River's (limited) facilities.
