We went to see the Chihuly exhibit, and this was more like a mini-museum then what I would think of an art gallery. It was free to go in, although due to the delicate nature of the exhibits asked to hold backpacks at the front desk. The art was beautifully displayed, and had benches and chairs placed around so one could stop and admire. There was even a video showing his process for creating the glass, which just made me appreciate the complexity of what he was doing even more. There were other works on display, and yes, you can walk past the sales people's desk to see the works in the back.
