A friend and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant 2 weeks ago on Saturday evening after I arrived in St. Kitts. Not sure if they do reservations or not, but we did a walk-in. We heard good things about this restaurant so we wanted to try it.
After perusing through a menu to ensure they had sufficient selections for us to choose from, we informed the server that we were ready to be seated. We were seated right away, but our server took quite a long time to come back to get our order. My friend ended up going to look for the server to let her know that we were ready to order.
We both ordered creole pot fish. For the sides, we got basmati rice, sweet potato fries, fried plantain, and grilled vegetables. We also ordered the local passionfruit drink.
I was expecting the Creole pot fish to be more flavorful and with a little more spice. It was just okay for me. I truly enjoyed the local passionfruit drink, and the basmati rice. Both were authentic tasting and were flavorful. The grilled vegetables and fried plantains were good. The sweet potato fries were okay but a bit hard and dry.
Honestly, I was expecting a little more from this restaurant based on the local recommendations I received.
