I have been meaning to visit Artichoke for at least a year now, but thanks to COVID-19, I've been unable to. My wife and I finally decided to try them out on a Saturday night, and we will definitely be back again. Social distancing was definitely being practiced here, as tables were spread far apart, and the place was relatively empty as well. We were initially confused whether to order an entire 16" pizza for the two of us, or separate slices. Based on what we were recommended by our friendly waitress, we ordered 3 separate slices: the Vodka, the Sicilian and the Artichoke. We also decided to try out the their Sangria and Michelada.
The food was served relatively quickly (in around 10 mins), but the drinks took a little longer (around 20 mins). First off, I have to say that they're slices are HUGE! I am so glad we didn't order the entire pizza. All three slice types were great, but I must admit that the Sicilian was hands-down my favorite, then the Vodka, and finally the Artichoke. The artichoke slice was the largest and heaviest of them all (it was basically an artichoke dip on a pizza slice), and I think that by itself could be an entire meal for a person. The drinks were good too, and I definitely liked the Sangria over the Michelada, which was a little too spicy for me (for a drink).
The ingredients are fresh, the food is delicious, and the price is right (averages around $5 a slice). They even offer happy hours on the weekdays from 3 to 5:30 PM where the prices are even cheaper for the slices. We will definitely be back here to try their other varieties!
