Everything!! superb! The hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the spa, everything was exceptional.||Firstly the rooms. Beautifully appointed, fantastic shower and toileteries, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.||Next the staff. Everyone we interacted with were so helpful, passionate and with great personalities. Nothing could have made us feel more at home, even with some language barriers. Special mention goes out to Cova in the restaurant who was exceptional in explaining everything and making us so relaxed. She was also fluent in English and French (and Spanish of course). Also Ruth on the front desk was so welcoming and helped us with restaurant suggestions.||The restaurant - absolutely amazing food, beautifully crafted with merging traditional Asturian favourites with special twists.||Great desserts! The breakfasts were amazing, top quality fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries, meats and cheese and wonderful cooked options.||Had a massage in the spa, excellent and the outside pool was so clean. Not heated but I quite prefer colder water anyway.||Will definately return.||This place is first class

This was a great place for us to stay for a few nights. The hotel room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. There was an minibar in the room but no bottle opener. We did request one but it had to be used immediately and taken back by the receptionist. It would be nice for the hotel to have a few spare for this situation. The following day, I ordered drinks through room service instead due to this but there was a charge. I excepted the charge but if I had an opener in the room, I would have used the minibar. We had our dog stay with us and she was treated very well.||The location was fantastic, in a peaceful location and only a short drive from the city of Gijon.||We ate breakfast and evening meals at the hotel which were delicious and of great quality. To improve the breakfast experience it would be better if the staff could take the cooked food order quicker. Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel and hopefully I will have chance to use the swimming pool, gym and spa facilities.||

We had an amazing stay at Artiem Asturias. Went to the Spa and the next day to the Gym. It was the first time a Hotel actually had a Gym you could use, with great equipment, enough weights and as a plus, great design and 24h access. The beds are comfy and the staff very helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Great place we used as a base camp for our yearly friends reunion to explores Gijón, Oviedo, Covadonga and other surrounding towns. ||This hotel and his wonderful crew enhanced our whole experience in Asturias

My wife and I stayed for two nights as part of a touring holiday around Northern Spain.It is well located for Oviedo and various pretty villages along the coast.Huge free car park.Our Gran Astur bedroom was really nice.Tons of room , tastefully decorated and large well equipped bathroom.|The Green restaurant was also very good.Plenty of choice and food was tasty and well presented.Service was exceptional but that might be because the restaurant was very quiet while we were there.|Staff are really friendly and super efficient.|Highly recommended.

We will be back. Spent 4 nights here and had a lovely relaxing stay. Great value for money and very friendly staff. Great breakfast variety. Plenty of parking. Very clean rooms. Didn't get to make the most of the outdoor pool as the weather was not hot enough, but if it was, we would have made the most of it. The snacks with the drinks order are a nice touch. Only a few small things could be improved upon, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars: - Bottled water was provided the first two days for the room, but none after that. It would be great if this was provided each day of the stay when the room is serviced. You also have to order water separately with your meal which sets you back €3.50. - We ate in the restaurant each night and the food and wine were great. I only had one disappointing meal which was the hamburger. It was way too salty and the wedges were slightly undercooked. Bread was offered, but we found out after it comes with a stiff price of €5 for a slice each. It would have been good if it had been made clear that the bread was extra as we wouldn't have taken it otherwise. - The room was very hot at night, even with the air-conditioning. Not sure if it is switched off during the night to save energy, which is fine, but it didn't make for a great night sleep. - I saw it in another review and echo the fact that the fire alarm blinking red at night was frustrating for me (not my partner, however). - No iron available in the room, which was disappointing given that people usually need to iron things after unpacking. Apart from the few small things above, we enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend to others.
