ARTIEM Asturias

Currently staying for 3 nights, having chosen this hotel for relaxation purposes during a road trip and its exceeded all expectations ||Staff: are friendly, welcoming & attentive, make you feel at home|Rooms: booked 2 rooms with terraces on the ground floor, spotlessly clean, service daily with free water refills. The terrace catches the afternoon sun perfectly. Really liked the unique touches in the room such as the radio surround sound and the environmental consciousness with recycling, water use etc. Free mini fridge and safe |Food: outstanding! Breakfast has cooked to order from a menu, the scrambled eggs are delicious plus a variety of continental, fresh fruits, fresh juices. We booked half board through the hotel direct, which included evening meal of starter main and dessert with great choices, quality and portion size every evening. The prawn risotto was delicious! The evening service also included aperitifs and bread and water. Couldn't fault a thing except we were so full each evening! |Facilities: Spa was great and not overcrowded, particularly liked the ice cold plunge pool. Had the "mental relax" massage which nearly had me falling asleep it was so relaxing. Gym also free to use and open 24 hours, good equipment and very clean. Outdoor pool was chilly but I like it cold and is open 9-9 you can get pool towels from reception. The sunbed area is a suntrap in the day ||Overall an amazing experience so far and would without doubt come back here again and recommend to anyone travelling in Asturias. Thank you Artiem team!

This is a modern hotel a few kilometres outside of Gijon, situated in a rural location.||The hotel has a large range of fitness/spa facilities including a long outdoor swimming pool. We used none of them as we were sightseeing in the area, but I would still very much recommend it.||The common rooms are airy, well furnished and spacious. The guest rooms are large and very comfortable. All was spotlessly clean.||The reception staff were excellent. They gave us a free room up-grade and sorted out an issue over our meal allowance in a very satisfactory way.||We ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was excellent. Moreover, given the high rating of the hotel, the price of wine seemed very reasonable||The location of the hotel is out of town, but only a short and easy drive back into the interesting city of Gijon.||We felt it good value for money.

This hotel is out standing with a great location, staff who take customer service to another level. We ate in the restaurant and the choice of food on the menu caters for all tastes I had the steak which was perfect and not expensive for the quality. Breakfast was just as good with buffet and also a great selection of cooked to order from the kitchen. Basically this hotel group have excelled in customer service and value for money a place not to be missed.

This was a great place for us to stay for a few nights. The hotel room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. There was an minibar in the room but no bottle opener. We did request one but it had to be used immediately and taken back by the receptionist. It would be nice for the hotel to have a few spare for this situation. The following day, I ordered drinks through room service instead due to this but there was a charge. I excepted the charge but if I had an opener in the room, I would have used the minibar. We had our dog stay with us and she was treated very well.||The location was fantastic, in a peaceful location and only a short drive from the city of Gijon.||We ate breakfast and evening meals at the hotel which were delicious and of great quality. To improve the breakfast experience it would be better if the staff could take the cooked food order quicker. Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel and hopefully I will have chance to use the swimming pool, gym and spa facilities.||

Everything!! superb! The hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the spa, everything was exceptional.||Firstly the rooms. Beautifully appointed, fantastic shower and toileteries, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.||Next the staff. Everyone we interacted with were so helpful, passionate and with great personalities. Nothing could have made us feel more at home, even with some language barriers. Special mention goes out to Cova in the restaurant who was exceptional in explaining everything and making us so relaxed. She was also fluent in English and French (and Spanish of course). Also Ruth on the front desk was so welcoming and helped us with restaurant suggestions.||The restaurant - absolutely amazing food, beautifully crafted with merging traditional Asturian favourites with special twists.||Great desserts! The breakfasts were amazing, top quality fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries, meats and cheese and wonderful cooked options.||Had a massage in the spa, excellent and the outside pool was so clean. Not heated but I quite prefer colder water anyway.||Will definately return.||This place is first class

Very stylish and all very well done. Lovely room, great hotel. We were on a road trip with little luggage, and felt just a bit scruffy - nevertheless were made to feel totally welcome.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Artiem Asturias. Everything exceeded our expectations — from the hotel itself to the delicious food, relaxing pool and spa, and, above all, the warm and attentive staff. What really sets this place apart is the incredible attention to detail and the genuine kindness of the team, who go above and beyond to make every guest feel special. Our experience was flawless from start to finish, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Artiem team for making our stay unforgettable!

Amazing place with great level of care and services, and good facilities (pool, few persons, cozy lounge…). On site restaurant is delicious. Obviously such premium hotel is expansive (and rightly so) but here they have an unparalleled talent for surprise extra costs (like 5€ per slice of bread or 70€ for 1 laundry not even ironed !) that gives at the end a deceiving feeling. Other premium locations are not so obviously sneaky ; )
