This place is a whole vibe.
I started with the My Egg, My Choice deviled egg dish, and honestly… creamy perfection. It’s a smooth, sorta like egg salad style well-seasoned egg salad topped with paprika and served with warm, fried naan-style bread (or toasted bread).
For my main, I had the Sassy Salmon delicious and well-cooked. It leaned a little sweeter than my personal taste, but the experience immediately turned next-level when the Lonnie the owner brought out extra spicy chili pepper sauce. That heat elevated the salmon and completely balanced the flavors.
The Brussels sprouts were charred to perfection, full of flavor, and the potatoes were so good I didn’t leave a bite behind.
Beyond the food, the experience really shines. The customer service is beyond top-notch attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The staff has this cool, artsy, slightly hippie vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. You can feel that people enjoy working there.
They switch the menu about three times a year, all of their wine is made in-house (yes in the basement), and they truly support local. It’s a small café with an artsy soul.
Great food. Incredible service. Creative energy.
This is a spot you come back to and recommend without hesitation. Thoughtful, intuitive service like that matters. (Please excuse my main plate I started eating then realized I forgot to take a photo)
