Artist & Craftsman Supply North Boston

This is one of the greatest art stores I've ever been in. If you have any passing interest in any craft, this is the place you start. There are tools and materials here for beginners to advanced artists, and of such variety that you really get lost in all the possibilities open to you. It's the best kind of shopping experience! Not to mention the people here are just amazing, really knowledgeable and kind and helpful! I will miss this store so much. I really hope they find a new location soon, because an art store of this caliber is rare and wonderful. Much affection to you all, and thank you so, so much for everything!

This place Rocks! Every couple of months I come down from NH because I cannot find the quality of supplies around here. The staff is always polite and helpful. The variety and amount of supplies is superb!

Great store. But I just learned that they are closing. Hopefully not permanently. Everything is on sale. Possibly moving to a different building? Anyone know why or when this is happening?

This place is the bomb. Period they are amazing and always have been I go out of my way to shop here because nowhere is better. They are kind and helpful, and the supplies are what I want and usually more! This is my number 1 art store, it doesn’t get much better than here.

I live in north central MA so making the trip on a Sunday to this store was not a fun endeavor. But then we got to the store and spent easily a couple of hours browsing. There is a lot of everything, a lot of options and the staff was so friendly and very helpful, even going above and beyond to make suggestions. Definitely coming back. Thank you so much.

Chris was so informative. He gave me tips and tricks on the art. Answered all my questions (and i had a lot) helped me pick out the best paint brush. I was just really impressed at how imformative he was and how patient he was! Great customer service hands down!

Are you kidding me!?!? I stopped by this place because I was so desperate looking for a specific type of paint. I was so pumped seeing every single thing inside. There are more than I imagined! They were supposed to close around 6 or 7 on Sunday but I ended up spend more time in there. The assistant manager was so nice and he was like Please take your time. Soooo I ended up spending like $100 in an hour. I’m so happy I found a new art and craft supply place!!

Excellent selection and great value. Everyone here is extremely helpful. I’ve bought art supplies (or been gifted them) from here for years. The store is very easy to navigate and a joy to explore. They have a fun selection of postcards as well.
