Everything was delicious, and breakfast was a genuinely pleasant experience overall. Just a small note – more a matter of personal preference – that the ham in the eggs benedict isn’t cooked at all. I think lightly pan-frying it would enhance the flavour and help keep the dish warmer. I absolutely love eggs benedict, but here it wasn’t quite a “wow” experience for me.
The atmosphere of the place is truly charming, and I especially appreciated that they immediately brought a jug of water with a long slice of cucumber – a small but very thoughtful touch.
Everyone at the table commented on the avocado toast, finally a place where the avocado isn’t skimped on. And the French brioche… I absolutely loved it – a truly indulgent, sweet breakfast. I’d happily come back.
