I stumbled upon Artists Alliance Gallery and it's become my new favorite spot in town. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that's infectious. The gallery showcases an incredible collection of local art, each piece telling a unique story. What I love most is the passion and dedication that goes into curating these works - you can feel the love and care in every brushstroke. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share the stories behind each piece. If you're an art lover like me, or just looking for a new adventure, Artists Alliance Gallery is a must-visit.

Entry is totally free, and if you love something, most items are available for purchase. Peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, and right by the ocean. Perfect for art lovers and curious visitors!

This is a great little gallery. We were fortunate enough to get a curated tour with so much historical content. Many of the items are also for sale. I wish my suitcase was big enough. Well worth the visit and the ocean views are lovely.

It's definitely worth a visit if you want a broader, refreshing, and modern perspective on Ghana’s art scene. You’ll find a diverse collection—abstract, cubist, impressionist paintings, and more. That said, I couldn’t help but feel a bit concerned about the condition of some of the works. The humid, salty ocean breeze coming through the windows seems to be slowly damaging certain pieces, especially the smaller works on paper that are stacked together.

3 floors of beautiful African artworks. The ground floor is full of antiques, textiles and has a shop with souvenirs. You'll likely spot owner and internationally renowned artist, Ablade Glover, walking around the gallery. His work is on display on the first floor. That floor also has rolling exhibition space, with interesting established/emerging artists on display. The top floor has a wide array of paintings with an eclectic mix of styles. Definitely can spend a lot of time here exploring and getting inspired.

This gallery houses the largest collections of artworks by African creators. With a stunning three floor filled with captivating pieces, you wouldn't want to miss visiting this place. You get to explore Ghana and Africa through the minds of some of the best creative geniuses. It is an enjoyable experience and you have to be there.

This is hands down the best collection of African art I've seen on the continent. While South Africa may have the best hanging spaces, the body of work here is incomparable. From nascent artists establishing their position to the better-known artists commanding their craft, this is African art at its best, curated through an African lens. There are three floors crammed with awe-inspiring pieces, ranging from miniature metal sculptures to large, bold contemporary sculptures. The collection also includes fabrics through the ages and the most vibrant paintings that capture the rhythm, movement, and soul of Africa, interpreted in daring hues. There's too much to take in with just one visit, and the downside is that despite the size of the building, there simply isn't enough space for it all. I made an impulse purchase, but I'll definitely be back for more. This is a "must-visit" in Accra.
