The entrance was free, and the lady at the reception was very kind. We had visited this museum a year ago, and we really enjoyed the exhibitions back then. However, today we didn’t particularly like the four different exhibitions on display.
This place has a lot of potential to host great works and showcase new artists. The fact that entry is free in the afternoons and on Sundays is fantastic, as it allows access to culture for those who may not have much money.
I still recommend this museum because it’s likely you’ll find exhibitions that suit your taste in the future. Just make sure to check the current exhibitions before visiting.

Beyond the city's free museums, this contemporary art space provides an enjoyable atmosphere for relaxation and reflection. Its expansive exhibits make it a fair choice for families or those seeking a peaceful cultural experience.

Loved the exhibitions they have here. The entrance is free on certain days and evenings but you can choose to make a donation.

aka - Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country. Permanent collection holds works by numerous artists, including Eduardo Chillida, Manolo Millares, Pablo Palazuelo. The museum offers free entrance options (e.g. afternoons). The exhibition called Adına, Oteiza, Palazuelo - Shaping the Transcendental was my favorite!

I really enjoyed this museum, especially as entrance is free/donation. Just wish it had the works by Picasso, Dali, or Miro that I had read about

Slightly oddball museum which costs 5 Euro to enter note that the building is mainly underground so is larger than it first appears
