Wonderful restaurant!! Highly recommended !! Very good meat menu and also classic Vienna dishes)) I was impressed by variety of wine in a cellar))

There is nothing to fault at this excellent restaurant!!!! Stumbling across Artner as we wound our way through the intricate side streets of Vienna, it would have been easy to miss this gem of a dining experience!!! From our welcome at the door to every little detail beyond, there is absolutely nothing that could have been improved upon. A well thought out menu with a sensible about of choice appeals to most tastes I would imagine (there are even vegetarian options in this steak restaurant!!) staff were attentive, yet discreet and the food was absolutely perfect! We chose bread starter but received a complimentary dish of chilli sausage - really good! Chateaubriand main course with spinach, rosemary potatoes and padron peppers We drank a blended wine - Artner massive a. Rot 2022 - which was excellent - full bodied red with a hint of pepper and oak to compliment the beef. We had an hour chatting after our main course and couldn’t resist to try the Kaiserschmarrn dessert which did not disappoint! Visiting the toilets takes you down through the impressive shelves of the wine cellar - a marvellous sight!! Well done team Artner - you are doing all the right things!!

Great food (focus on meat), very good service, small but attractive menu with a very good wine selection. Highly recommendable.

Good quality food. Daily affordable menus available for lunch and different every day. Friendly and professional staff to look after us makes a difference from other lunch breaks. Definitely a place I would love to visit again next time I will be in Wien

We went for a dinner here, the food was fantastic. However, the staff were not very interested in taking the order nicely. We did not spend lots of time in here, so we quickly ate and asked for the bill, which you are getting it with a pen to write down how much tips you want to leave. We tipped €5 as we didn’t stay for long, however the older gentleman that was serving us didn’t looked very pleased about it and just handed us the receipt without saying thank you or goodbye, which we felt quite uncomfortable about.

Definitely recommend the steak with foie gras! The service was great, the food was delicious, perfectly cooked! Would definitely visit again!
