I'm sorry. I'm no food connoisseur-just a simple man born and raised in Southern California, who has eaten a lot of Mexican food in my 32 years of life.
I'm just going to say it bluntly- the carne asada burrito is awful. And I'm one of the most easily impressed people I know when it comes to food. It was about the size of a frozen burrito or something that would be on the kids menu back in California. Here? $15. You want it wet? $3 up charge (that they DO NOT tell you about when they ask you if you want it wet, fyi). Yes, I paid $18 for a burrito that at most should cost $10 (if it was delicious). The tortilla was that consistency of tortillas that have been stored in the fridge for awhile. The meat was pretty tasty actually, but there was maybe only a small handful of it. The enchilada sauce was forgettable. And you know what else? They put lettuce INSIDE the burrito. What in the French toast?!
As one man said in another review, the salsa was the only redeeming quality. The chips were warm too. I know for a fact the people that run this joint, who were decently nice to be fair, are not eating this quality of food at home. There is just no way.
1 star for the chips/salsa. 1 star for the adequate service. But BRUH, the burrito is minus 3 stars. It's truly the best I can do.
