Arty Hotel & Spa Monnaie

We stayed two nights as a family of four.We had a very pleasant stay, the hotel is ideally located very central but also quiet. It was fully booked but felt peaceful. The staff are helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. Rooms were modern and comfortable. When I’m back in La Rochelle I would stay here for sure.

My wife & I stayed for 2 nights. It was absolutely excellent. I'm a wheelchair user and the room we had was fantastic. Had breakfast on the 2nd morning which was great. All of the staff were fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring the old town, great restaurants close by as well as shopping. The short visit was to check out La Rochelle as a place to stay longer over the Fall and Spring and also to see how was it for a wheelchair user. Perfect for everything.

Gorgeous looking building, inside and out. Fantastic location. Beach and harbour a short walk away. Highly recommend booking the secure parking. Room as described, nice and cool on arrival. Used the safe, coffee machine and toiletries. Sat in the courtyard having a beer and reading my book. Would definitely stay again if I were to return.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. This is our 2nd time staying here and we will return. We arrived in the morning and were told our room would be ready at 3pm as expected. We went for lunch and arrived back at 2:30 hoping our room might be ready early. In fact it was not ready until 3:50pm. Excellent customer service would have been prioritising our room as they knew we were already in town and arrived back early from lunch. Not the end of the world but this approach would impress. Room was clean and stylish and delivered on its description. Breakfast was excellent. We also used the spa and found it and its staff excellent. This will be another reason we will return.

We stayed two nights and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. A five minute walk into the town. We had breakfast one morning and it was top quality food. The only downsize was trying to find a car space, however it certainly wouldn’t stop us going back a second time.

We stayed for 5 days to visit La Rochelle and Île de Ré. The location of the hotel is perfectly located to visit the old town but also for the morning walks with the dog in the park. Also super friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast. Parking is a bit tight but the hotel staff helps to guide while parking. There was a separate space to put our bikes and there are car charging stations. Recommended.

Enjoyable 2 night stay, we loved the spa area and breakfast was a delight. We had personal use of the jacuzzi for 30 minutes, we paid 50 euros for exclusive use and it was very relaxing. Dressing gowns and slippers provided.

Great location, lovely room, extremely clean. Fab toiletries. Loved it.|Would stay again. |Very handy having parking at back of hotel, though quite expensive at 20 euros per day however only a minor thing as we loved everything else. Thank you.
