This was our second time in Aruba so we chose a less expensive hotel. We were there to house hunt. Located in downtown Aruba, The rooms were modest and clean. The bed, very comfortable. At the front office we were greeted by a young lady that was waiting for us to arrive before she left for the day. She showed us to the room and showed us how to use things like how to turn on the shower and to open the sliding door to the balcony, etc. we had a small kitchen with a full sized fridge, small sink, and microwave which was great because we love to buy fruits, drinks, and snacks to have in the room and take to the beach as well. If you want luxury then this place is not for you, but if you’re more easy going it’s great. A simple Continual breakfast included - bought to your room and served on the balcony. The view of the water and sunrise is lovely. We came in on the weekend so we didn’t have our towels changed everyday, but that’s important to some. There is also a wonderful restaurant just out back built on the doc right over the water. We tried it one night. Most make reservations, so we were lucky they had one table left. When other guest left the hostess moved us to a table right at the railing, just before our meal came out. We could see the fish swimming and jumping in the water. We watched the sunset as we ate and listened to live music. The food was delicious. Lots of people come by for that restaurant they were always full. Easy to travel on the island, so rent a car. Just Drive up the coast plenty of places to stop where you can just walk to to the water and snorkel. Enjoy
