We stayed for a couple of nights, Overall the stay was great, with some downsides, Pros: Really authentic in middle of Souq Wagif hotel. They offer validation for the Souq parkings, so parking is free, Their face to face service is excellent, The size and view of the room is just perfect, Cons: They don’t respond to emails, I tried four different emails, and the only answer was “we will direct your message to the in-charge department”, but no response after ward,, There is no power outlet free to be used for charging, all the sockets are in use either for lamps of accessories,! I was stopped once by the security next to the elevator, just to ask me if I stay in the hotel!!! As a Discovery member, one of the advantages is late check out, I had to call multiple times until they confirmed that I could stay for an extra hour, to leave 1PM instead, and that was fine, until I was called around 12:30 by the angry front desk asking why I didn’t check out yet, and when I told her about the late check out and the fact that I already was informed that’s I can stay up to one, she was kind of surprised and stressing on “just till one don’t be late”,

Well organized hotel. Super friendly staff. And quiet guests. Well-located. Comfortably and beautifully decorated rooms. Easy access to city center. Nice neighborhood. And affordable prices. We stayed there for 4 nights. Rooms get cleaned everyday. Staff is very friendly and assisting. Breakfast is delicious too and offers a lot of choices. Really enjoyed our stay there. I can only recommend it.

Good location. Helpful staff. Good shower, 6ft comfortable bed. Huge room with sofa and 4 chair dining table. Lots of local eateries. Breakfast in a different building, two minutes walk away. Strange electrical switches. Luggage scanned on check-in! Perhaps normal for Qatar?

Had a great stay here. My warmest thanks to the hotel manager who promptly arranged an alternative room (upgrade to junior suite) when I had some noise problems with the original room. He was super kind and efficient. Also my warmest thanks to Jalil in Housekeeping - he was always super polite and cleaned the room to a very high standard every single day. Thank you!

After the hype our travel agent gave us about this hotel it was not to be. The check in person was not helpful. I asked what can we do the following day and could I hire a guide and was dismissed by this person. After, two hours going through customs and not feeling that great, this was not helpful. The room smelt damp and small. The air conditioner was directly on your face when lying down on the bed. Blown light bulb in bathroom. I asked for fresh milk to make tea and was told there is milk in the room (small capsules), rang room service and was given small capsules of milk. The window opened onto a faeces dust ridden air conditioners roof. To go to breakfast and to use the pool you had to go to two different and what appeared to be luxurious hotels. After, having a stress free holiday with a tour company this was a holiday ending nightmare.

Lovely staff very helpful and kind. The Souk waqif is a safe and relatively quiet area with many of these boutique hotels to choose from, all connected and providing different options. Tge staff will go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay.

This hotel did not disappoint! Outstanding location in the Souk Waqif it is an immersive cultural experience! The staff were on point with everything. Helpful, kind and genuine. Good value for money. I had lowered my expectations based on the price but wow! Stayed for 3 days. Would highly recommend.

This boutique hotel is a great place to stay. We traveled as a family of four, staying one night and had to book 2 rooms. There are a few buildings with this hotel and we stayed in the main building where the check in desk is. You are served dates and tea while you wait for the paperwork to be completed. Both rooms were very spacious, clean and well decorated. One had a large balcony with furniture and looked out to the front of the hotel with a view of the mosque. Windows in the room and bathroom opened. Coffee/tea and water were provided in the rooms with a kettle as well as toiletries. ||Breakfast was included with our stay which was in a different building about 1 block away. Despite being Ramadan, the hotel guests are able to eat during the morning at a buffet which included local and western breakfast items. The staff are pleasant and helpful but don't go right at opening as not all items are ready. ||The area is very busy in the evenings and into late night as there are many restaurants & shops, as well as a large area with cages of live small pet animals for sale (birds, rabbits, chicks, small dogs). It is very safe to walk around. I was awake at 4:30am and walked around outside without any problems. ||Side note : If you walk to the Corniche, rent a Lime e-scooter to zip around the seawall. It was a lot of fun when we did this around 9pm
