Years ago this was a good restaurant, now a total tourist trap with rude staff capitalising on Wat Arun views. Paid 280 baht for a fruit shake here and got told off by a waiter for not ordering enough. Also had dinner here and it was really bad. Avoid.

Good restaurant and roof top bar. Thai Food is catered for foreigners. Of course all well cooked. Excellent views from Wat Arun and Chap Praya River. Nice decor. Great photos here. Staff service is good. Parking difficult in the neighborhood.

Amazing place and well located with breathtaking view in Wat Arun temple. Close to restaurants and other temples. Despite this ot was fairly quiet in the night. Rooms were very authentic in wooden building, could feel the traditional Thai accommodation.

Have been to Bangkok a few times, and by far the best stay experience I’ve had. Large windows in our room open up to stellar views of Wat Arun directly across the river, especially when the temple is lit up at night. Balcony and rooftop are also both great places for viewing the sunset while enjoying dinner and drinks. Clean and cozy rooms, impeccable service (including in-room breakfast), and also a convenient location to exploring nearby sites.

Lovely place to take in stunning views of Wat Arun and to see the Grand Palace up close. There is a restaurant with outdoor views and 2 bar levels to enjoy.. we didn’t use the rooms/ stay at the hotel, but highly recommend for food and drinks .

Arun Residence is really a four storey restaurant and bar with just two guest rooms. Ours was the smaller, split level room. Downstairs is the bathroom and wardrobe, upstairs the bedroom and lounge/TV area. All was clean, comfortable and well maintained. And what a view! Directly opposite Wat Arun across the river. Beautiful in the daytime, stunning at night when lit up in a multicoloured show. It's a stone's throw from The Grand Palace and Wat Pho, with plenty of cafes and coffee shops nearby. Also worth a visit is the Museum of Siam just down the road. Sanam Chai metro station takes you two stops into Chinatown. One drawback, the room is up two flights of stairs with no lift and there are stairs in the room itself. So if that's a problem, it's not for you.

Arun Residences is a hidden boutique style hotel with incredible views of Wat Arun. Stayed in the Arun Suite overlooking the Chao Phraya River for Loy Krathong. Arun Residence has two restaurants with full service and bars to relax in. The upstairs deck gets crowded for sunsets and photo ops. Since there are only two rooms at Arun Residence, spaces are a premium and breakfast is served at a sister hotel Arun Sala a few alleys down. The staff keeps the residences well maintained. The sight across the river to War Arun is unbelievable, so bring plenty of smiles and mosquito spray to enjoy your private deck. Didn't interact much with staff aside from a late night emergency dollar exchange however they were friendly at check in and allowed a bag drop to check out the nearby flower market.

Food taste is great but becareful with food quality. It seem they did not cross check and undercooked pork or chicken before serving
