The name Arusha Naaz evokes a lot of emotions among locals here for its amazing snacks. I also stayed here for a night and wasn't disappointed. The rooms are quite reasonable (TZS 30,000/night) and included breakfast, which was quite basic but decent. The rooms were neat and tidy, and although there was WiFi, it wasn't the best. There is a nice common seating area where guests could chill together (I was alone though!)
The snacks are available only until around 4 pm or so, as they get over very quickly. I missed out on the first day and was determined to go there early the next day. However, while I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't amazed either. I tried the mutton kebab, mutton puff pastry, chicken samosa, and a chicken spring roll. They were all pretty good, but I think I was expecting the moon! It's definitely a place to try out the food. The owner, Mr. Muzaffar was really sweet too.
