Comfortable rooms with a great meeting space/restaurant downstairs. Close to Clocktower, banks/forex and other tourist services. My go-to place in Arusha town.

My friends and I needed a place to rest after a long day from Moshi to Kikuletwa Springs then Arusha. Almost everybody was short of Tanzanian Currency, it was getting late but we were lucky. We were able to exchange Ksh to Tzs at NMB Exchange Bureal just next to Clock Tower and just a 100 metres down Sokoine Road was this hotel. The prices were fair at 35,000/= Tzs (1,700/= Ksh) for single room, bed and breakfast, and 50,000/= Tzs (2,500/= Ksh) for double bed room, bed n breakfast. The breakfast comprised of Fruit Juice, Tikiti Maji (Watermelon), then a choice of Tea/Coffee or drinking chocolate with two huge toated slices of bread with jam and magarine to spread and two scrambled eggs or Spanish omelette. Based on the hotel being located in the CBD, I would say it was a fair deal and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Arusha. Great Hospitality at a fair price.

The name Arusha Naaz evokes a lot of emotions among locals here for its amazing snacks. I also stayed here for a night and wasn't disappointed. The rooms are quite reasonable (TZS 30,000/night) and included breakfast, which was quite basic but decent. The rooms were neat and tidy, and although there was WiFi, it wasn't the best. There is a nice common seating area where guests could chill together (I was alone though!) The snacks are available only until around 4 pm or so, as they get over very quickly. I missed out on the first day and was determined to go there early the next day. However, while I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't amazed either. I tried the mutton kebab, mutton puff pastry, chicken samosa, and a chicken spring roll. They were all pretty good, but I think I was expecting the moon! It's definitely a place to try out the food. The owner, Mr. Muzaffar was really sweet too.

The hotel is centrally located near the clocktower. The reception is friendly and the hotel provides luggage room for our gear during the time of our safari. Breaksfast is good. The rooms are nice, but unfortunately the water did not come and I had to change the room with no troubles. The breakfast is ok.

We stayed for a few hours on route to the airport. Very well located in the centre of town with some good eating and shopping (Masai Market|) options close by. Clean place with a lovely first floor courtyard to relax if you are a group. The management and staff were very accommodating of our needs, including a 3 am check out. Good value for money.

I highly recommend this restaurant that I've been going to for the last 13 years. The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It's my go-to spot for breakfast, and I always leave satisfied.
