Arusha Serena Hotel

We spent our first day in Tanzania at this hotel before heading to our safari destination, and we were very lucky to start our trip there. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent.||The buffet was also good and varied. One of the highlights was the wonderful, spacious garden with beautiful trees and swings — the kids had so much fun playing there!||A big shout-out to Julia, Eliamani, and Ayrin, who were incredibly kind and attentive to our needs.

I had a wonderful stay at Arusha Serena Resort and Spa. The setting by lake Duluti is incredibly calm and scenic, making it the perfect place to relax. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel truly welcomed. The food was delicious with a good variety options. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone visiting Arusha, especially before or after a safari.

Beautiful Accommodations: Our room was a lovely, spacious cottage with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the lush gardens. The unique, traditional design added to the charm of the stay. Stunning Grounds: We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautifully maintained gardens and the area around Lake Duluti. The combination of the gorgeous location, high-quality food (especially that cake!), and outstanding service makes the Arusha Serena Hotel a highly recommended destination. We spent 3 nights at the Arusha Serena before staring out Safari with Lion King Adventures. This place is beautiful! The staff is so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed meeting Yohana, Juliana, Glory and Prudence just to name a few. Everyone was so kind and genuine. The food is really good and the atmosphere at the Hotel is lovely. We ended our trip at another Resort in Arusha and regretted not having come back to the Arusha Serena before heading home to Montreal, Canada. We stayed for a night at Arusha Serena Hotel and found it to be a decent and comfortable place with friendly and helpful staff. The property is peaceful and well-maintained. The only thing we felt was that the rooms were a bit small for a family with a child, but overall, it was a pleasant short stay.

A very disappointing hotel. Advertised as a Hotel and Spa - there is zero spa options (no pool, or other spa amenities) other than a very unappetising massage room with very expensive options. So there is nothing to do but sit in your room. The service was very odd - lots of people around but it felt very confrontational. If you asked a question or asked for something different it was responded with disinterested response and service. They also mix up how you have to pay (room bill vs immediate) and it’s just not at all welcoming across the board. The set menu at dinner was not appetising at all but the a la carte lunch I had was perfectly pleasant. If you have a choice you are much better off selecting somewhere with facilities and hopefully some more welcoming service.

I travelled as a group of 5. We arrived rather late due to flights delay and stayed only one night. The experience was remarkable though. This was our first night in Tanzania and it left us with a very good first expression. The rooms are cabins scattered around the territory. They are very well equipped, with great view, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Each cabin is a room, so you don't hear your neighbors. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic, honestly felt like in a high level restaurant. The crew was lovely, except the receptionist, who was a bit short tempered with us, but it pales in comparison to the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. staff was warm, welcoming, and kind. Meals were delicious. Highly recommend this beautiful and welcoming accommodation!
