Very nice gym. Great view of the Grove area from the treadmills. Close to dining. AC gets the rooms super cold if that helps you sleep. I didn't like how they come in your room to clean even when you hang the privacy sign on the door. Might want to discuss that at check-in if that's an issue for you.

lgovantes1

Google
The unit they gave us turned out to be an AirBnB rental, not a hotel. The room was supposed to have a partial view of the ocean, and it did not. The administration did not change our room after complaining. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was fixed at 70°F and it was blowing very cold. Beware when booking to get what you want.

Good, bad and the ugly, in that order. First the good. Location is fantastic. Walkable, safe and beautiful location with a park across the street and parking was included in our room. The room was affordable. The bad: rooms are clean (smelled like bleach), but small (NYC size small) and dated. Daily maid service, which I expect, was not included - and this was not communicated at check in. Ugly: wow, is the service terrible. First, we pulled into the circle drive, and not only were we NOT welcomed, but the valet was literally hiring behind the stand texting his bros. He seemed disgruntled that he needed to help us, and instructed us to park where we were, blocking the drive and forcing other guests to back out onto a busy and dangerous street. Not good. Then, the worst was the clerk at the front desk - young woman with glasses and a large mole above her right eye. If you speak to her, know that she will NOT follow up on anything she promises. She'll scribble down your request, and it will NEVER happen. We needed a rollaway bed for our small child. Never delivered. We ask for soap. Never got it. Coffee - nope. She did not tell us about the cleaning schedule, how to access the hotel from the garage, anything. Enter at your own risk. In hindsight, I'd have paid more for decent service.

Google
Great location, terrible service. I brought Best Western gift cards. They are supposed to accept them but seem unable or unwilling to. The clerk Catalina was rude, and made us sit for over 30 minutes so she could help other people, saying "wait until I can check you in". It has been just a terrible experience. I have never met someone who wanted to do their job less. It's frustrating to get there right on time and have to waste so much of a day just because they can't do something that they're absolutely supposed to be able to do.

I stayed 10-13 July 20205,at Arya BW Premier for three nights, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. On the first day, housekeeping did not clean my room, which was already disappointing. But what really ruined my stay was that for two nights in a row, there was a couple arguing loudly in the middle of the night. It was so bad that the police had to be called both nights. I couldn’t sleep, and I felt unsafe and uncomfortable during my stay. I was hoping to rest, but instead, I left feeling exhausted and stressed. I expected much better from this hotel.

Nicole McLaren Campbell

Google
I found the staff to be polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and nice, the price point is excellent and just a really nice vibe, and it felt upscale even though the service (cleaning of room every other day, which should have been highlighted on check in), and service calls required 1 or 2 follow ups before they were addressed. I've stayed before and I'll stay again, all you have to do is have aligned expectations based on the price point and you're good! Gym was great, and the hotel smells good too. Lovely.

Google
My stay at the Ayra BW Premier Hotel was disappointing. The problems started on the very first day when housekeeping never came to clean the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Even worse, on two consecutive nights, there were loud fights during the night, including screaming and disturbances so serious that the police had to intervene. These incidents happened very close to my room, disrupting my sleep and making me feel completely unsafe. This environment ruined what was supposed to be a short, restful vacation. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, and I hope they seriously improve their security and guest services.

Linnette Nunez

Google
Jessica at the front desk provided excellent service. We started off with a not so great experience with the air bnb management company and Jessica turned that all around by making us feel welcome. She held our luggage for us and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She really went out of her way.

Yelp
The best thing about this hotel is the location and the parking garage. I have stayed at this hotel twice one the last six months and both times have been an experience. The first time that I came here I was coming in from a flight that landed at 5 am and I was able to check into my room even though I was super early. The front desk lady gave me my room key and when I went up and walked into the room it felt off. The bed was made but I could see where someone laid in it. The towels were used in the bathroom. You can tell that someone had been in there. When I went back to the front desk she assigned me another room and it was fine from there. This is an extend stay kind of place where when I walked in there was a full kitchen and a bathroom and the bed. I guess it is convenient if you plan on cooking in your room. The second time that I stayed there were two things that I noticed in the room that threw me off. The ceiling vent was a little open and once I saw it I couldn't unsee it. The second thing that thew me off was that there was only one elevator working. There was one morning where we ending up taking multiple stops down and no one else fit in the elevator. This place is alright for the price and the location but don't expect a luxury hotel. Expect an average hotel in a great location.

Yelp
One of the Best hotels that I've stayed here in Miami. My husband decided to do a staycation and we were in between hotels but boy did we pick a great one!!! Parking is free and if you live in Miami, you know it's a big deal. The hotel lobby was clean and spacious. We got there early and they held our bags while we waited by the pool. The room was huge!! We had a bay view balcony across the pool. It was absolutely to die for. And it was a great price. The bathroom toilet did give me some issues but nothing your girl couldn't fix. We were able to walk around Coco walk and ate some of my husbands favorite tacos. And he's Mexican so he knows good tacos!! We were close to South Beach and Key Biscayne. So if you wanna take a little drive you will be right by the beach or the bay. They even said we could use the pool after check out but we had things to do. But will be back on our next staycation!!

Yelp
Looks nice from the outside and the lobby too but it's all lipstick on a pig! Front desk service is awful and non existent. Four elevators and only one working! We got an "upgrade" to bay view which was pretty but also faced several other balconies. Had a massive table in the room, and dishes for two. Was laughable. Toilet handle falling off, fixtures rusty, bathtub jets gross if they even worked at all, mattress was lumpy and had to be 30 years old. AC worked when it wanted. Was such an odd place but at $200 a night was the best bang for your buck, just needed one night for a cruise, thankfully!!

Yelp
This hotel was the perfect getaway. The location was tranquile and relaxed. Everything was very walkable as you are right near Cocowalk, and there are tons of delicious restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was amazing, very clean, very well kept, and felt modern. The rooms were not far behind, I absolutely loved our room, the actual room space isn't incredibly large but still good for a hotel. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable as well. The views of the marina are beautiful, if you're able to secure a room with marina view I would highly recommend. No complaints, I would definitely return here.

Yelp
This is a solid, affordable hotel in the Coconut Grove area. We needed a place to stay for a week where two people could work remotely and also I could go into my office a couple of times. This place worked well because we had several options outside of our room. We could work in the terrace area and by the pool. The pool and fitness center were huge bonuses - I love that the fitness center was open 24/7. They also have squash courts on the premise. The bed was very comfortable and there was kitchenette, which again - was great for remote work! We had a balcony with a beautiful view. My only complaint was the elevators. They were so slow at peak times. Definitely leave yourself extra time to get down if you're calling an Uber! All in all, this place was a good price for the location and amenities.

Yelp
Price is probably the only thing going for this hotel. Otherwise, very basic, more like an apartment, with lots of things that do not function optimally (to put it mildly). May be good for short term rental by students.

Yelp
One of the Best hotels that I've stayed here in Miami. We meet Neo/Leo who administers the Pool and what a wonder human he is... Many conversations and he had the universe charisma to say the very least. He shared a great wisdom and changed us in a spiritual sense. Thank you Neo/Leo for making a stay wonderful. Respectfully, Scott and Summer

Yelp
We spent a really long time trying to find a decent-sounding hotel in Coconut Grove that also wouldn't completely break the bank. Hotel Arya seemed like a good choice and it turned out that it was, with a few notable caveats. The check-in process was super easy, and finding a parking spot was also a snap. Once we got to the room, we were happy with its size and its cleanliness. We weren't quite so happy with the TV, as it didn't work and there were no instructions on how to fix it. I probably could've called the front desk for an easy solution, but I really didn't feel like it. The bed was soft but comfortable, and the bathroom was nice, too. I will say, though, that I received a very unpleasant shock just before I slept and I went to brush away a piece of what I thought was lint off the bedside table, but what turned out to be a small cockroach. It wasn't a big deal and we didn't see any other insects, but it was still pretty jarring. If we ever return to Coconut Grove, we'd absolutely stay here again, if only because it's within walking distance of the very excellent Monty's.

Yelp
I stayed at this property 4 days /3 nights. 10/10 highly recommend for the location. The location is ideal for easy access to restaurants, shoppes , events , etc. Its roughly 25 mins from the Miami International Airport. When I was in town , their was an art festival right outside the hotel. This was cool but presented some minor challenges. Nothing major. Just a little more extra walking due to multiple streets being blocked off. I stayed in a private owned studio suite. It was the perfect amount of space. It included a balcony as well as a kitchen. Two very nice amenities to have had. The balcony was kind of tight but it did offer a nice city view. The bed was super comfy and the hvac system worked great! I don't think I ever got too hot during my stay. The shower was also nice and hot. Plus , Plus! Rooms were also quiet for the most part. I hated how slow the elevators were. Thank God there was never an emergency! The staff I encountered were nice, helpful. Sometimes there was a little bit of a language barrier but no major issues there. The hotel lobby was decorated with a modern look /very bright. I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying her again. The location is prime and very convenient for walking. I got a lot of steps in during my stay. The owners of the suite I stayed in were Sylvano and Maida. They were great and made sure I was satisfied ; their hospitality was top notch! ICoconutGrove Luxurious Vacation Rental is their company. Book them if you decide to visit this area!

Yelp
The management made an error in titling this hotel as 'premier.' What they meant to impart was that it is part of their 'inferior' collection. But I am being generous. To say that it is a hotel is a stretch. Homelessness is a better choice than a stay here. But, then again, I am being too kind. There are so many adjectives available to describe this heap of rooms, but I would not be able to use any of them here. The hottest days in Miami, a record set, and no air conditioning, to start. Imagine, afternoon temperatures just under 100 degrees and no air-condition. May I please have bottled and chilled water. I am parched. Yes, miss, $10 please. Take a swim in our pool, the curt and callow staff suggests instead of the water...to cool down. Pool is surrounded by trash and used condoms. And no shade under the unrelenting sun. No cheap water offered. No a/c. No compassion. But a scolding of the customers by the twenty-year old staff. We, the guests, should be more polite to the workers under these sweltering conditions. And if we are, we receive Hades' clime in return. Juveniles lecturing adults about comportment in a building where the walls are even leaking sweat. Adolescent staff admonishing adults face to face when they have spent absolutely no time in the hospitality industry and superfluous hours with social media, where you can bully anyone anonymously. Where is the manager? Oh, she is online and not available. Is she here? Lady, she is online. Can we speak to her while she plays on the computer? No, she is online. No phone calls to her can be made. But we are here for several nights, and you have said that FPL is coming to fix the problem each day. Where are they? Where is the management? Where are the ice pops? Help!!! Lady, you will have to learn how to lower your tone. You will have to learn how to speak kindly, says acne staff. One star. Way too many. But let's leave this place for now. Nay let's never visit it...ever. I will return with a more detailed evaluation of this swamp. You stay here? Blame yourself.

Yelp
This was a beautiful place, very clean and well maintained as far a housekeeping goes I would have given more stars but for this huge building it only had ONE working elevator and that made for a disappointing wait every single time we had to go somewhere.... The pool and hot tub were clean and the only downside is they close it at 8pm.... Too early

Yelp
The hotel Arya is situated in Coconut Grove. From the 9th floor they have a swimming pool and views that overlook the Peacock park and the Coconut Marina.

Yelp
Ok so the positives... The location is amazing! It's in Coconut Grove. You could pretty much walk to do anything like eat or shop. The view of the bay is gorgeous! I think it's called "sailboat bay". They do offer valet for 35-36 bucks a night. There is a parking lot right next door for $12 on the meter a night. The lobby is nice. They offer snacks for sale like drinks and candy. The pool area is nice too. Their breakfast was enough. The view from the pool and dining area is even more beautiful. Room service will come unless you say no. Now the negatives... I didn't see any pictures online that truly represented how run down the actual rooms are. The one we stayed in was very dated. The balcony was this quarter thing that we shared with our neighbors to the left and to the right we could see all the way into their balcony. The carpets were stained. There wasn't a microwave but there was a fridge. The ac was either really cold or really hot no in between. The front desk staff didn't seem friendly. They answered your questions with minimal detail. They didn't bother with any hellos or goodbyes as guests came and went. I loved the area but I wouldn't stay here again.

Tori A.

Yelp
The location is great and the staff is moderately friendly. Sometimes they will actually look up and say hello when you walk in. The elevators take FOREVER to arrive and when they do, theres always some sort smudge on the walls. Speaking of cleanliness, we stayed there for 5 nights and not once was the hallway (14th floor) vacuumed. How do I know? There was a giant toothpick (the big plastic one with the string across the top), laying on the floor, in the same spot, for days. I kept my eye on it as a barometer. Those hallways were not cleaned for a week. Also, carrying a stroller up the front steps was a pain in the butt. I'm surprised they are allowed to get away with not having a ramp in the front of the building. If you are traveling with a baby or someone in a wheelchair and are staying here, good luck.

Susan C.

Yelp
Nice hotel and staff. Small pool and for now the restaurant is closed. There are many restaurants that one can walk to. There is also a gym.

Sports G.

Yelp
It wasn't exactly a traditional hotel, they didn't clean our room, make our bed, clean the bathroom. It was more like a short term rental/airbnb. It wasn't the best but nice workers. Would recommend for one night but not two or three

Susan G.

Yelp
Location was great. View was ok. "Hotel" was not the word I would use for it since it has almost no amenities. Pool was tolerable but had some shower thing blocked off with caution tape. No bar at the pool and no alcohol allowed per the signage. The restaurant and lounge were closed. It did not appear to be being renovated. If I am ever I hope to return to Coconut Grove as the area is fun and nice but casual for Miami but I would not stay at this "hotel" again.

Yelp
Infested with roaches. The hosts just say that they will talk to owner and nothing gets done

Yelp
Booked a stay via one of the agents that lists on AirBNB for Arya Hotel. They are running a scam of listing the rooms at what they will later state is below market price and demand extra money before they will provide a hotel booking number. No return call from their rep, asking for personal email, and no return messages via the AirBNB app. Reported the issue to AirBNB too.

Iain D.

Yelp
Terrible service. We had a wedding rehearsal and the staff told us to unpack in the lobby. We get vacation only 2 days per year and they've pretty much ruined it and the employees didn't care. Heartbroken and ripped off. No sympathy.

Brandon M.

Yelp
Elevators have been broken multiple visits here. The big gal at the desk is not very friendly. Parking is ridiculous that you cannot park your own car in the garage.

Yelp
I should have checked Yelp before booking this place. At first glance, the place looks nice. The lobby is modern and pretty. The staff seem nice. But this place ain't really a hotel. I'm not sure how many rooms they have but it don't seem like too many. Couple of initial complaints. When I first got to the room, there's no master light switch. I had to feel around in the dark for a few until I found the switch of a desk lamp. The thermostat may as well not have existed. Every time I tried to adjust it, the electronic display would slowly fade out and then power off for a moment before resetting. The TV didn't work. One of the lights had a blown out bulb. You could tell the room had been smoked in previously by the must hanging in the air. The toilet flush mechanism needs some tinkering in order for it to flush. Even though the hotel is close to the water, I'm not sure that there are any ocean view rooms as the "hotel" is actually a shared building. Some of the units are apartments and I believe there is another hotel operating on property. Maybe I should have stayed at the Hilton.

Yelp
I'm rarely compelled to write a review for anything anywhere, but my experience here was worth sharing. I'm a Best Western rewards member. This place, as fancy as it is, is still just a Best Western wrapped in a few glimmery layers. I selected it because there was a good deal and I wanted some extra rewards points before i went home. I rolled into bougie Coconut Grove after a couple of weeks of camping in the Keys (which is not a cheap undertaking) saddled with some sunburns, bug bites, rough skin, extra gear, sleepy eyes. and generally looking a bit out of place. I unloaded my extra bags from the car and a staff member standing beside me pretended not to see me. He looked off into the distance and ignored me. I had to leave half of my belongings outside on the curb and make two trips to my room. When I walked to the desk to check in I swear to you I thought I must have farted - the disdain on the faces of the people checking me in was unmistakable. Maybe they were arguing amongst themselves about something unrelated to me before I walked in, but they did nothing to make me feel welcome or warm and acted like they didn't understand why I was there, despite me greeting them with "hi, I reserved a room online and I'm here to check in." Two staff members said they couldn't figure out how to check me in without the card I used to reserve the room handy (my partner did it from home with a card I left on the dresser) and told me they would prefer to cancel my reservation and ask me to please step away, find my phone, and reserve it again (a third staff member intervened and solved the problem, thankfully). They gave me no information about the property, my check out time, etc. When I asked they pretended to not hear me, so I left to take my first load of bags up. There was a QR code in the room for hotel information, but the printer had smeared part of it and it didn't work. When I stopped by the desk on my way to grab my second load of unattended bags from the sidewalk I asked about a late check out time and was told with a sneer, "...our late check out times are full." I asked what that meant and they turned away and ignored me. Here's the thing: the room was gorgeous and I would have been happy with my stay and not catalogued its flaws, but I was pretty annoyed with being treated like garbage. Sorry I didn't change into my boat shoes and pop my collar before coming in, guys, but I have money and it's green. Anyway, the room had German roaches. I found a couple of them that were dying, which means they're treating for them, but these ain't the big daddies crawling in from outside. They're the little guys that live in the walls. They are in the middle of an infestation that will take a long time and a lot of money to treat. They may travel home with you. Be careful. The amenities they offer may or may not work. The ice machine was disgusting and the shelf you set the bag (not bucket) on was broken, so getting ice required three hands. There was a washer and dryer, which was great! But they didn't work, so I wasted money on detergent and time trying to fix it, which is not my responsibility. There was a full kitchen, which was great! But the dishwasher squirmed with live and half dead roaches, which sucked. One phone didn't work. One lamp was broken. The couch springs were broken and it sagged in the middle. If y'all are going to treat me like trash that's not good enough to stay here just because I just came from a campground you could at least have the decency to give me a room that's too good for me too. But since you can't, humble yourselves: you are a Best Western wearing lipstick.

Yelp
After an unpleasant experience at a different hotel this weekend, I was just recalling the nightmare we had at Arya last winter when a fire broke out in one of the rooms. It was the biggest nightmare I've ever experienced at a hotel - we were out on the street until later than 3am with people in pjs and half dressed. They tried to force my friend to go back to her room, which was right next to the fire, and filled with toxic fumes. We focused on advocating for her for over an hour, trying to get her put in a safer room, and hotel management was beyond useless and actually contemptuous and negligent. We just realized we actually never shared this experience here, which is a disservice to anyone considering staying here. We received no refund after this experience. I believe we got a small and angry discount at checkout.

Yelp
Front desk employee was not trained on third party bookings and instead of trying to problem solve and be helpful he was rude and dismissive.

Yelp
Not what I expected!!! Rudest people ever.... I checked in to the hotel Approximately 8:45pm and went to room 2115 on 21st floor at 8:55pm and then they gave me a room on the 20th floor. The Bellman/valet came to take me to room 2004-1 at 9:08pm. As soon as I walked into the one door I could smell fresh paint. We discussed it. I walked in and immediately saw the hole in the wall with tissue shoved in it to hide it. I have it all on video. The room was cold. I called and had a maintenance man come up and all he did was change the little wall covering and I asked him if that was going to fix it and he said yes. I asked him if I could have a space heater to warm up the room because it would probably be a while and I was freezing. He acted like he didn't understand and said this will fix it and left. He came back and so called fix it. I called for my car to be pulled around so I can get my jacket. I actually told them that. I got my jacket and then stopped by the front desk and was talking. They didn't show much concern, they just acted dumbfounded. I went up to my room and as soon as I walked in it felt like winter. It was actually colder. I called the front desk and complained. I then decided to try to mess with the heater myself and found out that he put it on cold and turned it down to 60°. I turned it off waited 10 seconds and put it on heat and put it up to 80. I called the front desk to let them know what had happened. They said oh. I decided to go take a bath to try to warm up but found out the water never got past lukewarm so I could not bathe since the room never got above 64°. I was irritated. I decided to do what I always do and take pictures and video and I found a lot of mistakes in the room. The broken cabinets and drawers. The red blood looking stains on the cabinet. Just a lot of negative things. I decided to go to bed. I got up about 2 AM freezing so I called the front desk and a very nice young man told me that he would let management know and that they would call me by 9 AM when they came in. I called after 9 AM and I was spoken rudely to by the front desk girl who never gave me her name. I have a video of her as well but did not see her name. She rudely told me ok and that was it. Later I called down and they told me that I lied that I never contacted them about anything there was no issues mentioned ever or anything My video .... https://youtu.be/IyU2Y5lICng

Yelp
Very odd visit and feel. The good: clean room, clean fresh lobby The fine: A/C works but definitely was too overpowered for the room. Immediate icebox situation when it kicked on. The bad: the pluming in our bathroom would react to what other rooms were doing. Water would come out of our tub spout if the room next to us did some things. The frustrating: wanted a hotel that had a restaurant which Arya "has" but after booking this trip the hotel started renovations to the restaurant. There was no notification of this and no price change to our stay. No breakfast available for us in the morning because of this. Was told that there were places close by... this was not what we wanted to do. Also...what is this place? Feels like part hotel and part apartment complex.

Yelp
If you don't want clean and good service from a hotel, go to the Arya Hotel in Coconut Grove. During COVID because if you want people to stay healthy, you need a clean environment. Very poor service by management and whom ever is in charge of the housekeeping. Ok When you're paying your hard earned money for service, this is not the service you expect to get. Very disappointing. Be forewarned. I wish I would've taken my business someplace that offered better service.

Yelp
This place was hard to find listening to the google directions but I turned it off and found it myself. Pulled up and valet (2 young nice males) took the car. I was here for a job promotion/going away party located on the pool deck. Walked into the beautiful lobby where we were greeted nicely by the staff and it smelled delicious. The decor was nice in the lobby. We took the elevator up to the pool deck and OMG THE VIEW WAS EVERYTHING and the weather made it even more beautiful. I was hungry so I sat at the bar and ordered the calamari with fried yuca. There was a tv at the bar where the men were watching football and drinking. I may be getting the name wrong but Edra was the bar manager and she was awesome. Even though the system went down to run the credit cards for payment it went smooth. Edra and her staff were very very attentive. We had fun, lots of fun.

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because the room was a bit out-dated, but I enjoyed my stay. --- --- --- I didn't realize it until I arrived, but I'd actually stayed at this hotel a couple years earlier. At that time, it was a Sonesta hotel, so I didn't even put 2+2 together until I walked through the lobby and realized I'd been there before. When I got up to my room, my first impression was that it was definitely outdated. My room had a full kitchen and it looked like everything was a good 15-20 years old. The bathroom similarly shared a look of yesteryear. And the two computer desks were just a plan black slab of wood on 4 legs. They didn't even really look like they went with the room. Aesthetically, this would be more like a 2 or 3-star room. But functionally, I didn't have much to complain about. The bed was super comfortable, the thermostat worked quite well, the views from the balcony were amazing and the shower pressure was ideal. All the things that I really hope for in a hotel were present, which makes it pretty easy to look past the outdated countertops and cabinets. I'm assuming it's a relatively recent thing since this property became a Best Western, so hopefully by the the next time I'm in need of a hotel in the Grove, everything will be shiny and new in this hotel!

Yelp
The pool and gym are beautiful and the location is perfect to shop eat and drink in the heart of coconut grove. Staff was friendly. ASIDE from that we were very disappointed in the hotel. We arrived to a very poorly cleaned room which is always super unsettling. My wife went to take a shower and grabbed a USED bar of soap covered in someone else's HAIR.... let's just hope it was from their head. The room was outdated and very dirty. The toilets broken, the AC made sounds all night and barely blew cold.... We paid about 300 dollars for the night and it wasn't worth it at all. I'd highly recommend checking out other hotels in the area before this one.

Yelp
I arrived at the Hotel Arya on 4/22/2022 at 7:46Am approximately. I valet my car with the company on the premises called Towne Park. The valet driver that handled my car the entire day was Edward (per Carlos). I gave Edward my keys and I received a valet ticket upon arrival. I worked the event on the 8th floor and came down about 12:45ish. Edward looked up my ticket and returned my car. I received my car from Edward approximately 12:57pm. I noticed there was damage on the panel above the driver side front tire. It's scraped cutting into the paint with yellow markings. Edward turned the wheel while retrieving my car scraping it along the metal pole that's painted yellow they have in the hotel garage on the hotel property. I spoke to Carlos the valet manager and he said he'd file a claim. There is video and photos before and after and a card showing no damage upon arrival and damage upon leaving. Edward absolutely did this. Do not use their valet-they can do anything to your car and get away with it. Just read all the complaints and reviews for Towne Park Lmt on BBB also. Cameras do not take good footage and you are not protected in any incidents. Over $800 in damage!

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would, this hotel is infested with cockroaches. I can't even get my money back to leave because of their terrible refund policy.

Yelp
Best Western Premier is the current company. It is a 80-90s older tired hotel in a location location spot. Pros. Location. It's a Neighbourhood thatvhad it's glory days decades ago. And slowly revitalizing. Some new business and restaurants is creating a nicer atmosphere than the many shuttered businesses. All rooms have killer views and balconies. Some offer just city. But most the ocean. They are suites. Some with full kitchens. Some with partial (according to their website). Large and mainly current fitness room. Your typical hotel version. Killer views from rooms and their Panorama restaurant. They feature a happy hour and for guests. A wine and cheese 6-7 pm. Mon-thurs. Convenient valet parking and room service. Large rooms with the typical business hotel basics. Reasonable price for Miami. Cons. Why the three stars. For service at restaurant. Could be better. Sat down for enough time to write this review with no service. Had to get up and ask for a menu. Rooms are tired. At least the one I had. 90s decor. Including appliances from that era. But. That is a minor quibble. For 100 usd. Approx per night. Depends on all the typical hotel variables. Season. Availability. Weekend or weekeday. A full kitchen. Great. But now. Is there proper cooking items. No. One pot. Limited utensils and knives. No coffee maker. But an espresso maker. No kettle. No fry pan. Maybe you can ask for these items. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was dated but clean and ok. Best part honestly is the balcony and view. Would I return. Yes. For the price. Definitely. I have stayed in luxury around the world and this is not that. But for the price location and basics. It's worth checking out. Just know you will feel like it's a best western in a great Neighbourhood and location. Not a Westin or Fairmont.

Yelp
This hotel was not only beautiful, but the staff was so nice. The beds were so comfortable and the pool was so nice! Definitely can't wait to come back I will recommend this place to all my family and friends!

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was an unpleasant experience. The suite that we stayed in was an Vrbo. It seems that halve the hotel had Vrbo rooms and the other halve served as a hotel. We were advised to come to the computer room to check in (the front desk was unhelpful) after wandering around to find the computer room (with all the luggage and 2 children) turned out that there was a man with a laptop to check us in. With no assistance we were given the keys to our suite. It looked good when we moved ourselves in. The floors were filthy. When going into the shower, I saw my blackened feet. Oh, the shower. Danger, danger. the tub shower had 1/2 glass. When I entered into the very high tub, there weren't grab bars to steady me . The shower water made the surfaces very slick , so I had to be very careful to maintain stable (a perfect environment for falls). There was only one tiny wastepaper basket for the bedroom and bath. There was only one TV channel to watch. No instructions for TV or codes. No paper to write on. The blackout curtain didn't work. Not enough blankets for 6 people. Yes, a waste of hard earned money! Yelp
Do not get deceived by the pretty pictures of the view and the online photos of the hotel rooms! The water was not draining properly in the bathtub. The TV doesn't work. It turns on but the apps within the TV don't work so it's a useless 55" TV. The balconies are shared with only a small partition in the middle. The room entrance is also shared with the neighbor next door. Valet parking is $30 plus taxes per night. 1 extra star just for the location.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed for one night as a stay-cation without the kids. We paid $92.00 a night plus taxes & fees with continental breakfast included. The hotel is the heart of Coconut grove walking distance to wonderful restaurants near the area. Valet is $36 a night, we tried to park in the public parking lot next door but it was going to be more expensive therefore the hotel valet was cheaper. Overall we enjoyed our night stay. This hotel is a Best Western Brand with a modern feel. It was a good deal for the price since continental breakfast was included and to my surprise nicely set up with a nice view. This is a good hotel if you are looking for an "economy stay" since the grove has a lot other hotels which are more expensive. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Each room had a coffee machine and offered shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. We had a city room view which was nice on the 17th floor. It was nice to get out and have a change of scenery. I'm rating my personal experience 4 stars however I would like to note this is a 3-star hotel. So I would definitely keep this in mind if you are looking at this property.

Yelp
1 working elevator plus 1 service elevator to handle 21 stories. Room keys turned off at 10 am. Check out is 11am. I was locked out of my room and front desk could not have cared less. Promised to send some one up. I waited 20 min then got housekeeping to open my door for me. Great location, clean room good view but with the service issues and staff problems this place is off my list forever.

Yelp
Great place to stay if you get the right host through Airbnb. Pool and restaurant were closed this weekend, but there is kayaking at the bay and Glass and Vine restaurant across the street.

Yelp
This hotel was an okay pick, not too far from the Port and was easy to find. I didn't care for the parking charge, it was very over priced. The staff was okay to deal with. We stayed just one night. The room was outdated and was a tad bit deceiving from the booking.

Yelp
TERRIBLE! Customer Service... My 20-year old son made a reservation for 1 night at the Hotel Arya in Coconut Grove on the hotel website, and received a reservation confirmation the night before. He arrived to the hotel late at night (early hours of the morning). When trying to check-in, the desk attendant (John) informed him that this property in particular did not accept reservations from anyone 21-years of age or younger, and left him in the street at 1am without a room and without any other place to go. NOWHERE in the Hotel Arya's (Best Western) room offer, during the reservation process, or in the reservation confirmation email sent to my son, did the hotel state ANY RULES or LIMITATIONS ABOUT the purported 21-years old limit to make a reservation or check in. NOWHERE. Fortunately, i was still in town (traveling from California) and called the hotel. No arguments were enough to convince John to let my son stay for 1 night. I told John that I was going to go to the hotel check in for my son. In the discussion on the phone, John said that sending my son to the hotel with that reservation was my problem, not his. Then at some point of the discussion, for reasons unknown to me, John said that he felt threatened. When I arrived to the property, I started video taping the interaction. John was receptive at the beginning and seemed to be willing to proceed with the check in process, but suddenly he changed his mind and said that he felt threatened and left the front desk, coming out from behind the front desk and walking right beside me. Junior, the (unarmed) security person, was present the whole time. He was courteous and gracious enough to provide further information and talk to us. Junior talked to John via phone and asked him to come out and provide further information, but John refused to come out at all. After the incident I called several times to try talking to the General Manager. I was directed to his Assistant, Isabelle Guerra. After several attempts to contact her, she finally called me and we had a conversation that went nowhere, like when you talk to a person that doesn't really care. Her attitude was basically "No harm, no foul. The reservation was cancelled and your money was refunded, everything is fine, go away". TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! THESE PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE.

Yelp
Really horrible hotel. Would not recommend staying here. I made a reservation online, and when I came to check in there were about 6 cars lined up, blocking the driveway. On top of that, they wouldn't let me check in, even though I had booked a room. John at the front desk is incredibly rude. Honestly the guy shouldn't be able to have a job with the attitude on him, it really just makes your blood boil.

Yelp
Our room was infested with bed bugs, we woke up bitten from head to toe. When I looked in the bed I saw the bugs and also that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. When I reported to the front desk I was told it's not their problem that I have to contact the Sales Manager ... Disgusted

Yelp
Horrible Customer Service Don't book this hotel!!! I booked this hotel and only two hours later tried to change the date by a day earlier, because I couldn't be in Miami on that date. They wouldn't let me change my date and charged me the entire $454 fee for a room that I wouldn't ever use; and they had plenty of time to resell it. They will not refund your money if you cancel! Worst customer service I've ever heard of and a horrible place to do business with. i guess they must be really hurting for business if they have to take people's money who don't even stay there in order to make ends meet. Do yourself a favor and book The Mayfair Hotel just down the street. It's beautiful, has great food and wonderful customer service! How refreshing... after the hellacious experience I had with the Hotel Arya!!! The Mayfair Hotel is definitely the way to go.

Yelp
Hotel has gone down hill since the Sonesta sold this building. Some are part residential now and some are hotel based. I stayed here a while back when it was Sonesta for over 6 weeks on an extended stay and it was really solid, at that time. Now recently with my wife the rates have inflated beyond the standard $175 a night when it was Sonesta to an awful $350 plus rate. The reservation staff and emailed marketing team was non-existent for days and are not helpful when it comes to really assisting you with long term stay rates like Sonesta did. This place is just not what it once was, don't be fooled by the beautiful exterior and grove marina facing pool. Its really over overrated for the inflated price and note they do not offer Corporate rates for the local businesses either.

Yelp
The location is good for I am compelled to write a review about my experience at Arya this past weekend. If this place is part of the Premier Collection I would really hate to visit the hotels that were not classified as "Premier". You are met with a lobby that is pleasant and well-kept. However, upon checking in we were informed that the restaurant, bar and pool bar were closed for renovations. Really? How about a heads-up with an email before you arrive? This left us with no place to "gather" with others that were traveling with us. The front desk staff in un-attentive and borderline rude. Outside of the lobby this hotel is really dirty. Rooms are awful and badly need a facelift. My room and balcony were filthy. Hallways are dirty. They don't tell you at check-in that the rooms are only serviced every other day - if that. Instead you have to read about it on a piece of paper sitting on the night stand. We stayed three nights and our rom wasn't serviced at all. When I called down to the front desk to complain I was told to take it up with housekeeping! Really? When checking out I asked for an adjustment and was told no. There are several other hotels in this area that you should look into before booking a room at the Arya.

Yelp
The hotel was cute very clean I will say that. The elevators were terrible we spent most of our 24 hours stay waiting on an elevator and a few times simply took the stairs 14 flights because it was not stopping at our floor. They require you to valet so I left the car at valet for 15 min told him I would be back to head to dinner, he was very nice and said no problem we are here til 11pm. He shared he would be leaving at 9 that night but he would have a replacement to park my car upon my return. The valet is $30 when we returned at 10pm no valet, front desk lady says you need to park your own car and it has to be on 4th floor or above in a blank spot. I said why am I paying $30 for valet when my car was never valeted I mean had no issue paying had my car been valeted of course. She said well we don't have valet and you have to pay $30 to hold your spot in parking garage- no tag or sign was given to me to place in my care to indicate parking was paid. Anyways toTal hassle I chose this hotel because I was in Miami moving my daughter into college and it seemed close and convenient. Between elevators and valet it was more of an inconvenience.

Yelp
came down for 24 hours for a funeral i had to attend. the front desk staff was friendly. my family and i decided to go to the pool to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather here. as we were leaving the pool we waited 20 MINUTES... no exaggeration for the elevator. i've seen reviews about issues with the elevator posted about a month ago and still haven't fixed it??????? as we are about to get on the elevator this gentleman very rudely said "you can't take those towels past this point" we said okay and he goes "well i'll be back to check if you left those towels here" again not in an accommodating tone. he should have held the elevator door knowing that ONE out of FOUR elevators work and asked nicely if he could take the towels from us since he was getting off on that floor anyways. I never leave bad reviews but you never know how someone's day is going so i hope this gentleman is spoken to about how to accommodate costumers and make them happy during their stays since he is getting paid for that lolll.
