One word. WOW. This hotel truly was one of the best in our 3 week honeymoon to Europe. So thoughtful with everything they do. We received a champagne gift to celebrate our honeymoon and a room upgrade. Our view was so great and the rooms were spotless. We loved the 24/7 tea area and then the breakfast out in the courtyard was incredible. We had a 6am check-out time and the front desk offered to make us breakfast sandwiches and leave fruit for us to take before breakfast even started. Incredibly thoughtful and helpful! Would absolutely return here next time we are back in Lisbon!

This little hotel is an absolute gem. Yes the building is lovely, the decor amazing, the rooms very comfy. There is a beautiful, peaceful garden, library and roof top bar. But what makes this place stand out, are all the little details that make you feel special. The decanter of complimentary port in your room, that they tell you they will refill if you drink it all, the 2 honesty bars where you help yourself and fill in a form to say what you had. Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks, cake, and those famous custard tarts. All day! Complimentary port everywhere (delicious, but dangerous!). Breakfast in the garden was special too, attentive staff in lovely uniforms, a breakfast buffet with so many choices (more custard tarts), fresh orange juice, and cava, in case you haven't had enough port. The whole place has a very relaxed vibe. It's walking distance to the city centre too. It's honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in many.

This is an absolutely charming small boutique hotel with comfortable rooms, convenient location, excellent breakfast, and top-notch service. It offers good value for the money. It is located in a nice residential area close to bus and tram stops, offering easy transportation options to the city's major attractions. Although it is not within walking distance to a subway stop, there are three bus routes that stop right in front of the hotel. Santos station, which is a major transportation hub, is a 7-minute walk away and offers additional bus and tram services. We stayed here for three days and took buses and trams everywhere. We stayed in a junior suite, which was very comfortable and luxurious. It is worth the extra cost, and it is still cheaper than regular rooms in most Lisbon hotels in major tourist areas. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and safe, with a number of dining options nearby. Breakfast is served in a beautiful courtyard. The hotel has many public areas where hotel guests can sit, relax, and have a drink, including a charming library. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a boutique hotel with a lot of character.

Beautiful hotel in Lisbon... What a romantic vibe❤️ Rooms are very clean with all essentials expected. Beds are very comfortable, AC set up to the proper level. Garden when breakfast is served is just amazing, calm environment. Library upstairs with honest bar is such an addition, trust given to the guests says everything about the hotel level. Service is very kind and supportive. The only minus is the car park that needs to be booked in advance and paid for which I haven't read when booked through revolut. Truly recommend!!!

We stayed for four nights from 7th June. Lovely traditional style hotel. Three lounge areas that are very comfortable with one lounge incorporating a veranda. Rooms a bit small but have everything you need and extremely clean. Carafe of Port in your room plus at the various tea/coffee stations located on different floors where you can help yourself. Also a small kitchen on an upper level where chilled drinks are available. Some good restaurants close by with one particularly good one diagonally opposite the hotel. Highly recommended. Staff helpful. Lovely courtyard garden where breakfast can be served. Breakfast good. Local public transport is very efficient and inexpensive. A good base for access to Lisbon. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent 5 nights here, having booked largely on the basis of the reviews the hotel receives, and were delighted not to be disappointed. Lovely small hotel feel, attractive furnishings, great facilities, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped room, delicious breakfast, convenient location and, above all, very friendly and helpful staff - Ines on reception merits special mention for her charming manner and great local knowledge. Our particular room had a slight issue with noise from within the hotel due to a poorly fitting door, but I suspect this was only a problem due to the specific location of our room, and it certainly wasn't enough of an issue to affect our rating of the hotel or to not recommend the hotel to other travellers. We would be delighted to stay there again.

This is an incredible hotel filled with beautiful antiques - I felt like I had traveled back in time to early last century. Even our hotel room contained lovely antiques. The breakfast area is in a gorgeous outdoor garden area. The food was plentiful and delicious. Dining in the garden area was such a lovely way to start the day. For the remainder of the day, teas, coffee, flavoured water and some delicious treats are provided in one of the delightful common areas.|One issue is that I found the hotel to be a little bit away from main areas of the city. My only other issue was that we arrived early on our first day (about 10am), I was feeling quite unwell which we explained to the receptionist and asked if we could have access to our room as soon as possible. Check in time was stated to be 3.00pm. Despite asking a few times whether our room was ready, we were not told our room was ready until after 3.15pm. I was very disappointed.

Very nice boutique style hotel. Breakfast was very good. Cozy furnishings and neo-classical decorations. Great service from the staff. The front desk stored our bags for after checkout, so we could explore some more of Lisbon.
