As Janelas Verdes/Riverview, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

I felt deeply relaxed during and after my stay. I wish I could live here. Everything was wonderful from the attentive staff to the quality of the furniture, the comfortable mattress, the beautiful library, the perfect water pressure in the shower. Even the location was off the beaten path, surrounded by local experiences, with an idyllic view of the water.

The hotel is in one of the tourist areas of Lisbon with plenty of restaurants and small traditional craft shops in the vicinity. The staff were courteous and helpful in demonstrating on maps directions to locations of interest to us around the city. The hotel is uniquely decorated and delightfully furnished in a traditional Portuguese manner. The Library at the top floor is another unique facility stacked with multiple informative books. The rooms were clean and noise free, The service was unobtrusive and yet efficient. The lounge and dining area would have done with a subtle background music to complete this enjoyable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Janelas Verdes in Lisbon. The service was excellent, with food available throughout the day and consistently of high quality. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel is spotless, well maintained, and has the charm of a true boutique hotel. A perfect place to stay in Lisbon highly recommended.

What a beautiful hotel with superb breakfasts and service! The staff was terrific! They were gracious, personable, and helpful on every front—for tips about what to see in Lisbon, how to travel around the city, even providing technical help. A small thing that we considered above and beyond: they emailed us the day we left to tell us we had left our phone chargers in our room and asked where they could mail them to us, which they did no charge. A nice touch that added to our great feelings about the hotel.

We felt comfortable and completely at home in this beautiful hotel located in a quiet, traditional part of Lisbon. The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful. Breakfast was superb. We loved our room and didn't want to leave. Every last detail had been considered. We hope to return to Lisbon and definitely want to stay at this hotel again - it was one of the best features of our trip and a great introduction to Portugal.

A lovely boutique hotel in Lisbon with exceptional staff. Our room was extremely comfortable and the included breakfast was also very good. There is also parking onsite at the back of the hotel which you pay extra for which is very handy. The lounge area on the top floor was a lovely place to relax with a nice view.

My wife and I recently spent several days at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They are the hotel's best feature. The hotel has the air of an early 20th century British home complete with lots of dark wood paneling and period furniture. While it has a veneer of elegance, it is quite dark and dated. The elevator is very small and cramped for travelers with suitcases. The bedroom was adequate in size but the carpet seemed musty and worn. The bathroom was well supplied but the faucets were loose and the shower was on the side of the bathtub. The bathtub was very narrow and as you had to stand sideways, it was awkward to shower. In summary, this hotel is pleasant but long overdue for renovation and modernization.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted so warmly, the staff are super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.|The room was comfortable and had everything we needed and more.|The amenities are amazing with a lovely balcony/library. The breakfast covered all tastes and a good start to the day.||The position of the hotel was good for walking to town,close to bus/trains and of course the staff will order you a taxi if required.
