As Janelas Verdes/Riverview, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful three night stay. Everything in the hotel was so carefully thought out. The attention to detail was incredible. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, even including a bottle of champagne to top up your orange juice!|The hotel felt so personal, almost as though you were staying in someone’s home. The lounge areas and the library were beautiful. We loved the honesty bar and tea and coffee facilities that were always available. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. The position of the hotel was excellent. Just far enough away to feel peaceful but close enough to walk or to use the excellent public transport. We would totally recommend and stay again. |Thank you so much.

As soon as you step through the entrance you are in a lovely, quiet, hotel. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff keep the guest rooms and indoor/outdoor areas clean and the kitchen staff make sure all food/drink is available. Room No 28 with the view of the Targus River is lovely, with the additional lounge area too. A leisurely breakfast, 07:00-12:00, with a good selection of food/drink on the terrace is a great way to start each day. The fresh pastries are lovely. |The library and outside terrace on the 3rd floor has views of the Targus River and is a very peaceful place, using the honesty bar to wind down and relax. There are honesty bars and complimentary tea/coffee etc available throughout the hotel 24/7. |The hotel is a nice distance from the centre of Lisbon. A walk along the river front to get to/from the centre is nice. There is also public transport available outside the hotel or just a short walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This little hotel is an absolute gem. Yes the building is lovely, the decor amazing, the rooms very comfy. There is a beautiful, peaceful garden, library and roof top bar. But what makes this place stand out, are all the little details that make you feel special. The decanter of complimentary port in your room, that they tell you they will refill if you drink it all, the 2 honesty bars where you help yourself and fill in a form to say what you had. Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks, cake, and those famous custard tarts. All day! Complimentary port everywhere (delicious, but dangerous!). Breakfast in the garden was special too, attentive staff in lovely uniforms, a breakfast buffet with so many choices (more custard tarts), fresh orange juice, and cava, in case you haven't had enough port. The whole place has a very relaxed vibe. It's walking distance to the city centre too. It's honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in many.

This is our favorite hotel, not only in Lisbon, but in general! It is like visiting family. You are welcomed with kindness, professionalism and a personal way to treat you making you feel at a family's home. The food for breakfast is delicious, the coffee and everything else is carefully prepared. The rooms are comfortable, silent, pristine, and the port wine bottle never dries out! We love this place and will keep returning for all our visits to Lisbon, as it has been the case for the last 20 years.

This is a charming boutique hotel near the National Art Museum. We had a nice view of the river from our room. Even though the hotel has been renovated, it still retains its classic Portuguese style. The breakfast was very nice and all the staff were excellent. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I certainly would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants and the sights of Lisbon. Bus stop outside the hotel. Easy walk to trams & trains. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Delicious buffet breakfast served in a green oasis garden. Cool and shady even in 34 degrees. Roof terrace has stunning views and a great place to sit in the evening. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel in Lisbon... What a romantic vibe❤️ Rooms are very clean with all essentials expected. Beds are very comfortable, AC set up to the proper level. Garden when breakfast is served is just amazing, calm environment. Library upstairs with honest bar is such an addition, trust given to the guests says everything about the hotel level. Service is very kind and supportive. The only minus is the car park that needs to be booked in advance and paid for which I haven't read when booked through revolut. Truly recommend!!!

We stayed for four nights from 7th June. Lovely traditional style hotel. Three lounge areas that are very comfortable with one lounge incorporating a veranda. Rooms a bit small but have everything you need and extremely clean. Carafe of Port in your room plus at the various tea/coffee stations located on different floors where you can help yourself. Also a small kitchen on an upper level where chilled drinks are available. Some good restaurants close by with one particularly good one diagonally opposite the hotel. Highly recommended. Staff helpful. Lovely courtyard garden where breakfast can be served. Breakfast good. Local public transport is very efficient and inexpensive. A good base for access to Lisbon. Would definitely stay here again.
