This Unagi restaurant is tucked away on a side street and you could easily miss it if you weren't paying attention. But hidden gems like these are often the most rewarding to discover.
I walked through the tiny door, and was greeted by the chef that instructed me to wash my hands and sit on one of the two tables. I ordered two versions of eel with rice and wasabi. Both were fantastic and the charred version was unlike anything I've had before.
I didn't really like eel before coming here. Now I consider myself an eel convert.

We absolutely love the place & we felt more people should be aware of this place. We ordered 2 large portions of unagi although we wish the portions were larger. The unagi was charred & juicy & the liver was charred & creamy. They have English menu & the staff was friendly 😀

Cozy little place with 4 tables and 16 seats. I got there for dinner on a weekday and there were 2 groups already there and 1 more that came after I sat down. There's an English menu with some pictures, but some basic Japanese phrases also went a long way for everything else. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I paid about $40 for the whole meal, but it was worth it.
