We were looking for some banku and okro stew to eat, and after trying several other restaurants, we found some at Asanka Local International.
Having patronised another Asanka branch elsewhere previously, I knew their food was to my liking.
As seems to be the theme, the decor had pictures of past African leaders and art.
The waiter was very friendly and efficient, and the food was very tasty and a good portion size. They did not have the drinks we originally wanted, but we managed to get alternatives.
Asanka has a great variety of dishes, and the food did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend them for flavourful Ghanaian local food.
