Delicious and authentic Ghanian food!

We visited Asanka Local Restaurant as we were looking for some local food to eat, and we were not disappointed. The various dishes were well presented and of good portions. Some of the meals were too spicy for those not used to hot food, but I found it perfect as I love spicy dishes. The service was good, but one of the staff looked like something had upset her, which we mentioned to her colleague that she needs to smile and not look so upset. The total bill was reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we had. I would definitely recommend Asanka Local. Their food is delicious and I was extremely satisfied.

We came here to meet with family in the area. The service was fast and friendly. The food was nice, I have no complaints about it. However, the womens restroom was atrocious. It smelled like something had died in there and the toilet looked like a health hazard. We asked if we could try the mens restroom instead. For whatever reason the toilet in there was a little decent, so we were able to use it instead. Please and please again, do something about the condition of the restrooms to make it a more sanitary environment for the customers.

Great service from the Madam to the waitress there. Am definitely going there again.

Good but had too much Maggi in their chicken

I just ordered akple with groundnut soup.. They have no serious delivery systems in place. I was asked for my location, and although I requested that they dispatch call for detailed directions, it turned out the food was handed to a bolt driver, in polythene that wasn't even secured. The soup bowl was not even sealed. Just horrible! If you care about time and food safety, look elsewhere maybe.

Prices are moderate... Soup's ok, not how your Nana makes it but ok
