Great cocktails in a welcoming environment, and if you're lucky, with show stopping tunes. They were rocking some early 2000s rock hits - we heard System of a Down, Red Jump Suit Apparatus, Linkin Park, it was a real vibe.
Even better - the drinks. They are very unique and so well balanced. The no. 67 was a real refreshing surprise. It has gin, coconut, chai, passionfruit, and lemon. Based on that description, I was expecting an overly sweet highball, but this exceeded expectations. It is lightly sweet and tart without being overpowering, and comes in a smaller glass, which lets the booze shine. Really delicious.
The chai martini is great, too. You don't see chai in cocktails often, but they do it so right.
Speaking of unexpected mixtures, they sell an espresso limoncello as well. The bartender told us they can't sell the bottles after 10 pm, so we were out of luck, but he gave us some tasters, and it is delicious. Who knew those flavors would pair so well together? It tastes more lemony than espresso-y, but the addition of a little coffee flavor really adds depth. Tasty stuff.
The menu is large, so you will find something you like. And if you want, you can do a distillery tour during the day. Outdoor seating, too, for the warmer months!
