First thing I arrived in Punta Gorda after dropping my luggage in the guesthouse was to visit this place.
It was quite a walk from the centre of the city and the small lanes were not brightly lit. Took quite a walk to reach and the only worry I had was if the place was not opened.
Thankfully could see lights leading to a tunnel like path filled with paths then to this very empty establishment. Found one group having their meal outside and I went inside to the main area and sat down. All the dishes were listed on the boards next to the bar counter. I specially heard an interesting dish being served here so I decided to come here and try: the Lionfish fingers.
So I ordered that as well as the Lobster tails. The lionfish fingers were served and the portion didn't look very big, but it was very delicious! They were also very nicely fried it was so crispy on the outside and the meat inside was so tender.
The lobster tails were also very good the lobster was so fresh. The butter and garlic sauce complemented the lobster and rice very well, I finished every bit of it. Ended the meal with a mango punch, was okay and a little dilute.
Best meal in Punta Gorda and one of the best in Belize. Very memorable and highly recommended to anyone visiting PG.
