Ashbourne Boutique Guest House

Our party of 8 people had 4 rooms for 5 nights at Ashbourne House Guest House.||It was a fantastic stay with every element done perfectly.||The rooms were great. Comfy beds; great heating and plenty of space.||The lounge / breakfast room had complimentary cake, biscuits, coffee and whisky.||The location was fantastic. Only a couple of minutes stroll to the Wine Tram and restaurants.||Scrumptious large breakfasts every morning, including freshly baked scones, crepes and eggs to order.||Cindy and Courtney and their team were superb. They helped me immensely prior to the trip to book dinners, wine tram etc. During our stay they assisted with Ubers and other advice.||Every morning they had a fire going for us.||Ashbourne House is definitely the place to stay when visiting Franschhoek. Thank you very much Courtney and Cindy and the team. We miss you already!!||

We stayed at Ashbourne Guesthouse with a group of American clients for 2 nights in May. From the moment we walked in Cindy and her team made us feel at home. The rooms all have a lot of character and very well Spacious and well decorated. The breakfast 5* & what made it even more special was the open log fire. Cindy also assisted us with some restaurant bookings and was always there to assist the guests with their needs. Will definitely be back in the future with other groups

Fantastic stay at Ashbourne. Service was great, location was great. Our room was very nice (7), but has steps to access, so if you have mobility issues, this isn’t the room for you. Easy walk to the wine tram and all of the quaint shops. Had adequate parking for our van. Nice safety features to access the house.

An absolutely perfect stay. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was massive and clean. We loved the breakfast and then lounging by the pool after our day drinking wine!! Great location close to the Main Street and the wine tram. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you so much for such an amazing time!!

This is a lovely guest house in central Franschhoek and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the wine tram!|From the minute we checked in we were given a warm welcome by the staff and were greeted by the smell of home baking. |Our room was large and had an excellent bathroom and shower area. There is a small pool and sunbeds if you want to chill out and do some sunbathing.|The breakfast is cooked freshly for you and was delicious.|We will definitely go back if we return to Franschhoek in the future.

Just a lovely stay in this gorgeous venue. We very much enjoyed our stay- both the facilities and the food were excellent. We were really well looked after by the hosts - Cindi and Courtney. We had a lovely and well appointed room and it is only a short walk to the main street where there are lots of great restaurants and bar. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. Thank you so much!

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our South Africa stay . Courtney and Cindy the managers were exceptional with their service , kindness and most welcoming . Our stay was comfortable and would highly recommend. Situated 10 minutes from the town , our stay was a good start to our fabulous trip .

Wow, just wow! Wish we were here for longer than one night. The room was just off the breakfast area and was huge. The breakfast was incredible with a great selection of nibbles and drinks available throughout the day. Just a couple of minutes walk to the main street which has lovely shops, cafes and restaurants and of course the wine tram tours.
