Ashfield House & Cottage - Grassington / Skipton

What a little hidden gem in the heart of the village. Great helpful staff, delicious breakfast, quaint rooms with those little special touches (fizz). We’ll definitely be coming back! Already telling all my friends and family about our wonderful stay. Love the honesty box and the use of the lounge area and the inclusive glass of sherry. Loved how quiet it was at night. Access to the car park at the back is a bit tight if you have a large car, but they do also have space at the front of the house so there’s plenty of parking. For an old building they’ve made it marvellous and comfortable. It’s really charming!

We recently stayed at Ashfield House and thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Our room was lovely, our bed was very comfortable & the ensuite bathroom was spotless. Lynn welcomed us on our arrival and showed us to our room. She was so lovely and friendly and was most helpful with giving us recommendations as to where to eat locally during our stay. The breakfasts each morning were absolutely fabulous with plenty of choice. Definitely compliments to the chef!! We didn't need to have any lunch! We love Grassington but have always stayed in self catering in the past. We would definitely stay at Ashfield House again and would 100% recommend. The added bonus is the carpark which will accommodate several cars. Thank you to Lynn and her team for a wonderful stay. Hope to see you again in the not too distant future. What a stunning wee place! As it was Christmas time, the fire was lit in the entrance hall and there was a lovely tree. Situated right in the heart of the village with a great pub next door. Our room was spotless and the bed comfy. Breakfast was delicious too. Couldn't recommend it high enough!

Absolutley fabulous! My wife and I stayed at Ashfield for our anniversary and it could not have been any better. All the staff were extremley friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lovely room with a prosecco gift too! Beautiful room, fantastic breakfast and right in the heart of Grassington. Some great circular walks, so get out and about!

What a lovely little hotel situated right in the middle of the village a stones throw from all the pubs and restaurants!|Free parking in the heart of the village a bonus!|Met by host and shown to really comfortable bedroom with everything you need for a night away...little extras like prosecco a bonus!|Plenty of choice for breakfast and all freshly cooked! All in all a lovely relaxing night away!

Beautiful place to stay. Sadly it was one night only. The hosts Steve & Lynne could not do enough for you. Lynne kindly gave myself and two sisters a lift to Burnsall for a family wedding, so kind of her. Excellent breakfast with so much to choose from, the sausage was delicious. Lovely touches in the rooms, complimentary Prosecco, tea, coffee, biscuits. Would definitely stay here again. Poor Lynne had to come running after us as we had not paid as thought payment processed by Booking.com but all was resolved.

What a lovely place this is! We stayed just one night as part of our touring around holiday and it was clean and comfortable and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was really good too and we would be happy to stay here again

I’ve put off writing my review as whatever I write will not do this slice of heaven justice. |Stayed in the garden suite for 4 nights. Met by Stephen on arrival and given the general tour of the suite. Definitely made the right choice of accommodation, having our own sitting room was perfect, and our own private garden the icing on the cake. |Breakfast was brought to our lounge, at the requested time. The choice was huge, I can’t think anyone would not find something here to enjoy. Eating in the lounge added to the relaxed atmosphere of our stay - we loved it. |The place was spotlessly clean, towels changed on request, extra supplies of tea bags etc provided.|We didn’t meet Lynne but Stephen and his team were first rate - thank you to all of them. |We arrived weary and left refreshed and completely chilled. |This place is wonderful, and if you are fortunate to book in here you will not be disappointed. |When can we come back?……………
