Asia Camera Museum

This is an underrated gem of a place, most especially if you are into cameras and films. The entry fee is really affordable. The curator of the museum, May, was wonderful. She knew the in and outs of virtually every single camera in there and would cater to all your questions. But keep up, she speaks really fast! She'll also help you take photos 'using' cameras. This place is worth a visit for sure!

My friend and I stumbled upon this museum while walking through Georgetown. When we arrived they were closing- not only did they re-open for us but they also gave us an amazing guided tour through the whole museum. We learnt so much about the history of photography and got to test out a bunch of old cameras. They also took cool pictures of us through each old camera lens. 10/10 experience, would recommend to anyone interested in photography or who enjoys learning like we do. You can feel the passion and care the workers have as soon as you walk into the museum.

Hidden gem! We were just walking around and we saw the sign from outside, so happy we came in. Greeted by May and she was our guide for us, explained to us everything. Very knowledgeable and friendly, the museum had everything you need to know from old to new cameras. You can actually take pics from the old lens with May's help.

Has a great time geeking out in the Asian Camera Museum. We got to try and interact with cameras older than our grannies! Most 90% of the cameras still works! The museum was staff was so nice and very accomodating! Very reccomended!

Heaven for photography lovers, with a detailed history and display of cameras from the 1900's to current days. They offer a short detailed tour which was fantastic across the exhibits them you're free to browse. Everything from vintage cameras to modern digital, including Leica, hasselblad, rolleiflex, Swiss, Japanese, Russian and even spy cameras Photos allowed of course 😀

Such a wonderful museum! Absolutely worth the visit. Curator of the museum was amazing! Had a lovely tour and nice conversation along the way! Tons of film and digital cameras to geek about 😄

even if you’re not really into photography, you’ll definitely enjoy the session 🫶 there are lots of hotel and cafes nearby, and also close to other landmarks as well. recommended!!
