Asia Grand Restaurant

Had a wonderful CNY lunch at Asia Grand! The ambience is classy and elegant, perfect for festive celebrations. Despite the busy season, the service was attentive and efficient. The food was absolutely yummy and beautifully presented. The Peking Duck was crispy and flavourful, the Winter Melon Soup was rich and comforting and the Drunken Prawn with flame presentation was both impressive and delicious, definitely a must-try! Big bonus: no corkage, which made the celebration even better. Will definitely be back again soon!

We held a small wedding lunch of 7 tables at Grand Asia and had a wonderful experience. The location is convenient, the ambience is pleasant, and the food was delicious. Special thanks to May Let and her team for their excellent service and coordination. Everything was well taken care of. Overall, great value for money. Thank you!

We are regulars here, and apart from the price there's nothing much to fault. Service was incredibly fast which was amazing. After many visits we've figured out many of the best items on the menu: Peking duck isn't legit but at the promo price of 58++ it's definitely worth getting, meat was reasonably tender for Peking duck, skin was quite good too although not the most crispy Roasted pork texture was great, there's pork stench tho Cheong fun was great. Chunky prawns, rice roll was tender, sauce was apt. One of the best in Singapore, because most Cheong funs suck Malaigao was ok but too expensive, flavour too mild Beef balls are our regular favourite, V well executed, better than the ones I've had in HK Carrot cake was great. Well crusted, texture was excellent too, almost abit gooey Spanish pork w morel is very boring, plain, and severely overpriced Claypot rice stunned. Ingredients were good, crust was there, and not overly burnt. Very, very good stuff, and reasonably priced for the quality of the toppings

Great dim sum but for the price, I won't be coming back again as it's way more expensive than other upscale dim sum places. Dim sum generally quite ok, just a few call outs: - carrot cake was more of a gooey soft version, I prefer the more crispy but soft inside - the Char Siew was extremely fat!!! That I felt like I was eating fat rather than the meat. Also, too sweet for my liking (as seen on picture of the sauce). ♿️ wheelchair accessible entrance and for wheelchair to navigate around.

This was my first time dining at Asia Grand Restaurant, and I can see why it’s so popular — reservations are definitely recommended! On weekends and public holidays, they operate with two seatings, and when we arrived on a Sunday with a reservation, the place was already buzzing. Every table was taken, including those outside the restaurant. The dim sum selection was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. Everything we tried was delicious, satisfying, and reasonably priced. We also indulged in the Peking Duck, which was a real treat, especially at the promotional price of $38++. For a friend’s birthday, we ordered the longevity buns. They were beautifully presented with lights, making it such a memorable and festive celebration moment. Service was attentive too — our hot teas were constantly refilled without us even needing to ask. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to revisit!

A Great Place for Dim Sum This is one of the places that has got it right for Dim Sum. You know when you get there cos the place is already full by 1130. The Dim Sum was great. Each dish was made well. Skin was not too thick and prawns used were fresh. The Peking Duck was especially good. Definitely great food ! The atmosphere was lively and decor nice. The whole restaurant was neat despite the crowd. You can tell each group was enjoying themselves. Service was also spot on. The serving staff made sure that our tea was always filled and were on hand to tend to all our requests. Overall a great place for Dim Sum. Because they are so popular, they target a double session so one session comes early and leaves early and the other comes late and leaves late. Also, good quality like this comes at a price. But definitely well worth it.

Dim sum is excellent, service is attentive, and you get authentic Cantonese vibes with staff eager to check your grasp of their dialect. Pricing is high but you get good quality food in a comfortable setting. XO fried carrot cake was expensive for the small serving and lukewarm temperature, that's one dish to skip.

I've always enjoyed the dimsum at Asia Grand, even before they moved to this new location. Their food has consistently been well executed. Service varies from staff to staff, but overall, attentive. A popular place for official/casual business meetings as well as family gatherings.

This is the best HK cuisine restaurant I have eaten in Singapore. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. The menu has a large selection to choose from. The staff is friendly and answers any questions you have. The atmosphere is fine dining, with their fine dining service. They will often check on your table and refill your tea cup, change your plate, and clear the table of empty dishes. We had nice conversations with many of the staff, sharing stories of HK cuisines around the world. This is a nice restaurant to dine in and highly recommended. If you are in Singapore and love HK cuisine, stop by this restaurant in Raffles City in the Fairmont Hotel.

One of the most popular and go to restaurants for Cantonese cuisine. They offer great menus for large groups based on different tier pricing.

I would've given this place s five star rating if their menu is more descriptive of what's inside of each dish. To conclude our Singapore trip, we decided to have a quick dinner close to the hotel. So we stopped by Asia Grand. The restaurant does look grand, and omg they didn't skimp on AC!! It's 90 degrees outside, and they blasted AC inside the restaurant making it feel like it's in the 50s!! Since its so cold inside, we've decided to order some soup to warm up. My soup was pretty good ( I ordered the fish soup with tofu); however, my hubby's soup had some mysterious ingredients that's not listed on the menu. Since he's allergic to shellfish and those ingredients look like shellfish, we decided to not chance it. The waitress told us that we can't return the soup as they already made it. Well, that's not acceptable. In the end, they didn't charge us for it, but we did need to put up a fight for it. Other than that, the meal was very good. Food was tasty and service was good. I recommend the chicken steamed with yellow wine, salt and pepper ribs.

My family has been a regular at Asia Grand Restaurant for many years. The owners of the restaurant used to work for Tsui Hang Village in Asia Hotel many years ago (must have been at least 10-15 years) and my parents have always been loyal patrons. Asia Grand is your typical better-than-Crystal-Jade Chinese restaurant serving decent ala-carte dim sum for lunch and cantonese style cuisine for dinner. The pricing here is fair, not super high end but not extremely affordable either. Great for family dinners on special occasions! I love the peking duck here as the skin is always nicely sliced and wrapped with the egg skin. When my parents are in the mood to splurg, I also enjoy the geoduck clam/ lobster sashimi/ steamboat. Otherwise, food here can never go wrong, although standards may vary depending on the number of customers/ how crowded the restaurant is.

I am a huge dimsum aficionado and it is often regretful that one can only procure good dimsum at dingy places (eg 126 Web Dou Sik) or nicer places (St Regis). I refuse to comment on Crystal Jade as my earlier statement excludes seemingly mass-produced dimsum. Asia Grand is similar to Jing; it bridges the gap between low-end and pricey. It is a middle ground meal that you will feel comfortable bringing clients of a certain profile to, or a family dinner etc. Make sure you order the liu sha pao - it was the best I have had for awhile. The golden molten was glorious.

An established brand name when it comes to dim sum and chinese cuisine in general, I have had the chance to dine here a couple of times, but somehow i don't think the food is that great. The suckling pig has some sort of a smell that you can still taste, like they didn't clean it properly, which made eating it unpleasant. So you might want to give that a miss. The dim sum menu is really just average, and even sub-par on certain dishes. Long queues are fairly common here so its always good to make a reservation should you want to dine here in large groups.

Authentic place for HK dimsum! It's really busy, so do remember to rsvp before you head down. The service is also chop chop fast, just like in HK (but with lots of Singapore accent)

This is a respectable established Chinese restaurant. I've been here a few times for family dinner and a few business lunches. The service is professional and experienced. My most recent meal here was a CNY lunch and these are some of the dishes: 1) Yusheng. Nicely balanced seasoning. Fresh veg. I really liked the fried salmon skin that was really light and crispy. They DID use some salmon sashimi despite the recent raw fish scare. The crispy crackers were very crunchy and in copious amounts - always a highlight for me to have generous crackers. 2) The fish maw super soup - light and not gluey. Some more expensive menus I've had recently seem to have a more gluey consistency which is really too heavy for a lunch with so many courses. This was not bad and quite a lot of fish maw in it but not that special in terms of the soup flavour. Could be a bit more intense. 3) Fried pippa duck. Nice crispy bits but some parts of the meat were a little chewy. I had limited stomach space so I left those. 4) Fresh prawns in superior stock with tung hoon. Super yummy and tasty! Prawns were fresh and firm. The tung hoon was bouncy and full of flavour like it had absorbed the sauce. 5) Abalone - I've had so much abalone the past few weeks at places like Jade, Summer Palace and Szechuan Court repeatedly. This is no worse in quality. Although a slightly smaller size but the other places are more pricey. It was tender and tasty. The sauce was tasty. The broccoli it came with was a bit boring. 6) The fish was kinda muddy. We all commented that it was obviously freshwater fish but really the aftertaste was too strong. Disappointing. 7) The glutinous fried rice. This was ok only for me. But to be fair, I was really full at this point. 8) I enjoyed dessert. Red bean with mandarin peel and a sesame paste glutinous dumpling. I liked that they brought the nian gao straight in the steamers to the table. They had put the fine peanut and icing sugar mixture on the side to serve since one of our group was allergic to nuts. The nian gao was really very smooth and tender and actually stretched a lot when we were picking it up. Usually it would be rolled in the nuts so not their fault. It was quite mild tasting but the texture was really soft.

We are visiting Singapore so we decided to take our host in Singapore and family out to dinner. This is a gem of a restaurant. The service was impeccably attentive. One of the restaurant hostess Ms. Sharon was just great. As we were not familiar with the Cantonese cuisine she was very patient with us and explained the menu to us. We pre ordered the Peking duck. It was just fantastic. The skin was super crispy and extremely tasteful. Oh by the way the server wraps the skin onto little egg pancakes. This is their especiality. Very tasteful. We ordered prawn dry chili, whole fish steamed, beef cubes, chicken whole roast, Chinese cabbage for the main dishes. For the appetizers we ordered fried tofu and this was super delicious. We also ordered fried octopus and Shittake mushrooms which were also great. We were a party of 7 with soft drinks and continuous hot jasmine tea the bill came to Singapore dollars 470. In US only USD 340!!!! Excellent!! This restaurant is easily accessible both by taxi and MRT City Hall being the nearest MRT station. Located at Odeon Tower 1st floor. Highly recommended. We loved it. Every thing super clean!! Top notch service.

Love the food and service staff at this place. I've been quite a regular here. The Peking duck is way better than imperial treasure IMO. Every dish is rather unique. The managers will arrange your Menu according to your budget and all the dishes are rally well done. Must tries are the Peking duck, xo noodles, pork belly appetizer and many many more.

Review's for dim sum - no complaints at all. Pretty crowded so be sure to make reservations. Come to think of it, I didn't think their specials were that spectacular, so I'd recommend to keep to the staples.

It is the first time I came for lunch. The service is very prompt, the servers are very polite. The peking duck is great with reasonable price. The dim - sum is really great too, the porridge and yee-mee are very well cooked. Overall, I am very happy with their service. I will go back again.

We took a chance and went without reservations and since it was early and a weekday, were able to get a table. First time in this place and its your typical Chinese restaurant. We ordered the usual fares of dimsum: hakaw, pork suimai and they were all tasty. The carrot cake was delicious. The disappointing dish was the roast pork -- it had a certain smell and taste from pork that is not so fresh. So I don't understand the hype -- it's good but not fantastic. My friend says that on weekends, they push you to finish your dining in 45mins.

Attracts a lot of business meetings due to its location. Food is quite decent i.e. above averge but given the price (high side) and average ambiance and service, I wouldn't make this my favourite makan place; but still worthy of my consideration.
