To find this gem of a Southeast Asia restaurant, you need to go down to the basement. First of all, the food is delicious (worthy of 5 star rating) and the owner is friendly and willing to accommodate my requests when I just wanted some stir fry veggies not on the menu. I would classify the taste more of a fusion SEA cuisine. The Laksa has a slight taste of tom yum, the Char Kway Teow has a hint of pad thai taste in it. The ice thai tea has a lot in common with Malaysian ice lemon tea too. Their Asian Army house beer is light and not unlike Tiger. But for the purists out there, while it is more fusion than I expected, I'll emphasize this did not distract from the overall tasty flavors.
