I recently started ordering from here.. Uber eats.. Definitely a win-win!! I order chicken on the stick from everywhere.. Their chicken on the stick was juicy large and you get six of them!! And I ordered beef and broccoli &!brown rice.. Totally delicious.. Trying to find a new place to eat is rough when ordering online if I would’ve known this place was on Passyunk av I would’ve been tried it!! I didn’t know until just now anyways the food is fresh and delicious

I want to provide an honest and transparent review of my experience at Asian Fusion. I was initially drawn to this place due to another reviewer's praise for the General Tso's chicken. After two visits and three meals, I must say that the General Tso's chicken was a 6/10 (not pictured), and my overall rating for Asian Fusion is a 3/10. It might have been even lower if it weren't for the surprisingly delightful sauce accompanying the beef and broccoli. Despite the commendable sauce, my experience left much to be desired. To begin, the food was severely undercooked. The chicken wings had an overly soft exterior, the French fries were disappointingly soggy, and the rice was mushy and watery. This level of undercooking was unprecedented for me. I had to use an air fryer for an additional 3 minutes to ensure the chicken wings were properly cooked (as pictured). Furthermore, the staff's practice of keeping the door open led to an influx of flies, which, while not uncommon in Chinese restaurants, was noticeable. Even after using the air fryer to salvage the undercooked items and mixing the beef and broccoli with the rice, the meal still only reached an average standard at best. Given the numerous dining options available in the neighborhood, I find it hard to recommend this restaurant.

We ordered the other night and the person taking our order was very nice on the phone. Our food was delivered quickly and was very good. I had the wonton soup and my husband had the house special soup. We had two dinner specials and the portions are more than generous. I had the beef and broccoli and my husband had the general tso s. Delicious! 2/28/25 Did an impromptu delivery order and it was very good! Delivered fast and hot!

I was really in the mood for Chinese Food. My neighbor recommended Asian Fusion and its not far from home so I walked over. When I walked in they weren't happy to see me for whatever reason. It was like I was bothering them. I picked up a paper menu as I went to an open table. While i was looking at it I was told that wasn't the right menu and I was given a placemat menu that did not list Lunch Specials which were on the paper menu, even tho it was only 1PM and not after 3PM as stated on the paper menu While I was waiting I noticed a pile of raw shrimp on the table next to me which was unattended next to a cellphone. Plus there were flies hanging around. I was concerned, should i call the Health Dept? I ordered a soup and an entree. They came out at the same time. The soup was extremely hot, the entree not so much. It also wasn't spicy as I asked. The food was better than average I would say. While I was eating no one ever checked on me or asked if I needed anything. I did have to ask for napkins. When done I left my money on the table and walked out. Not even a thank you.

I had ordered from here via DoorDash, when the food arrived it had a weird smell and I was kinda worried but I was so hungry I said maybe I’ll try it. I noticed immediately that my shrimp was not fully cooked and they were sooo huge. I tried to eat around them for my broccoli but I gagged. I then tried the honey children and something was off. My cat usually likes to eat seafood so I decided I would see if she would eat a shrimp and my girl left it in the bowl which then I knew I wasn’t tripping and something was off. My stomach does feel kinda funny so I’ll just drink some water until I’m better. Definitely will never order from here ever again.

I got delivery which was very quick. I got chicken in garlic sauce and that sauce is to die for! The best I've ever had! Also their wonton soup and crab Rangoon are just so delicious. Will be getting more yummy food from them

Decided to give this recently-opened spot a try for takeout, and happy we did! Quality, no-nonsense, delicious Chinese food. We have tried our share of Chinese places in the area, but found most of them pretty lackluster. The food here was non-greasy, the vegetables were fresh, the staff were very friendly, and the interior seemed clean and pleasant (from our curbside vantage point, as they are only open for delivery and takeout at the moment). Very happy to have found our new neighborhood takeout standby!

The food I ordered is identical to the now defunct, Number One China on 2nd and Christian. I have missed this food so much after ordering from there for 15 years, and they nailed it here at Asian Fusion. Finally, no more hunting for a Chinese restaurant! Note: I ordered several times to check the various menu items before posting this, and it was spot on!

Ordering sushi for delivery is not the wisest idea, but I have to say that everything arrived well-packed, and the order was accurate. I ordered a spider roll, escolar and maguro nigiri (2pcs each) and yellowtail jalapeño roll. Unfortunately, the sushi rolls and nigiri were subpar. The rolls unwrapped easily, and the nigiri was inedible. Each piece of nigiri had membrane-like pieces that ran through the fish making it impossible to chew. I have never seen this before, and I've eaten a lot of sushi from restaurants all over the world. My quest for a go-sushi place continues.

Great food. My go to Chinese takeout place. Always very quick and great prices. You get a lot of food for the price and it's always ready quick. Can't go wrong!

My favorite Chinese takeout place in Philly. The wonton soup and egg rolls are excellent, but do yourself a favor and get the General Tso's chicken with *medium spice.* It's divine.

This is the second time they gave me the wrong food. General Tsos chicken was terrible. Tasted old. Don't waste your money!

Everything is always delicious. Our go to take out spot. Definitely recommend hot n sour shrimp and c10 combo. Hot n sour soup is always on point.

Been here a few times. Always well prepared entrees. The staff are excellent at a very fair price. On the bus route and very efficient staff. Highly recommend! Quiet and enjoyable dining experience.

10/23/24 First time ordering since moving back to south Philly and got the general tsos chicken and boneless spare rib lunch special at 2:47pm, lunch special ends at 3pm, delivery took about 23 minutes, not too long of wait and some of the spare rib pieces were lightly fatty chewy bits but the ones that weren't fatty were good, good rice and the chicken was good. Wonton soup was hot as ball! But good lol and i would order again though trying not to pack on weight and need to start eating healthier but tempting since they also have sushi! Lol I'm glad this place is close by tho i wish they would give the crunchy noodles for the soup

Giving this spot another chance after months of not ordering from there. It's going on an hour and 15 min and no food. Just called and they said your foods ready just waiting on the driver.give us 15 min. An hour and a half is not exeptable

Wow. What a great place. Soups were all amazing. Everyone was very happy with what they ordered. We liked things so much we got more to take home!

Good, not exceptional. Everything kind of tasted the same, despite getting different things. Hot and sour wasn't bad. I'd order again, it was pretty fast. I wish we had a better, high end delivery option though.

We ordered a bunch of dishes from there last night, and it was so good. The food was hot, and the rice with the general tso's was delicious. My friend went to pick it up after a forty five minute wait. Highly recommend when you're craving Chinese Americanized food!

This is my go to Asian takeout spot in the area. Everything is always delicious, the portions are plentiful, and it's pretty affordable. Delivery has always been super quick. Checks all the boxes for this food genre!

Consistently good Chinese take out. Their wings are amazing - crunchy, flavorful and juicy. Their Young Chow fried rice is fragrant, flavorful and plenty of meat & veg. Lastly, their plain rice is just amazing. Even my mom was asking to order extra

I love how you can call there and order delivery and not have to use. Uber eats with all those extra fees!! Food is always on point everything I order is always there and they always call me when you're outside.. I highly recommend!! And I always have leftovers for lunch tomorrow lol .. baby.. I have never ate in I'm not sure if they have the room for that but I drive by and the place place looks amazing looks amazing. Ambiance like crazy !! Keep doing what you're doing!!!

Great Chinese takeout! Also very friendly! We got 3 rolls, chicken and broccoli, scallion pancakes, fried chicken wings and wonton soup. Everything came out terrific! I will definitely be ordering again.

They do have some incredible offerings, and the food really is pretty good but every time I order there's problems here and there. Most recently, with a lunch order, I placed, the wonton soup had zero flavor. None! The pad Thai is not, as I remember it from having ordered from this place quite a few times, although it had been close to a year. Still, everybody has an off day and I would probably go back.

All around one of the best take out restaurants on E passyunk!! Wonton soup is a must have. The service is fast & friendly. Yum!!

We ordered food at 6:30pm and called the restaurant multiple times to see when it would be delivered. No answer. We understood that wait time could be crazy because of the holidays, but now seeing other reviews, this is obviously normal for them. Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the delivery driver that eventually called us 3 hours after we placed the order was so nice. He explained that even he sat around and waited 2 hours for the food to be done. I would just avoid this place.

Yesterday we ordered online through DoorDash. I thought an hour wait was odd for Chinese and sushi as usually it is only 20-30 minutes. We went to pick it up at 7. It was not ready. We waited outside for 35 minutes before we received our order. We weren't the only ones waiting. Several people ended up leaving without their order. One woman said she had ordered delivery 2 hours prior and had never received it. A man kept coming to the window and would say he was checking on our orders and then disappear for 10 minutes at a time into the kitchen. He did not even move with urgency. I'm still unsure what was going on... not sure if they were cooking the food once the customer gave them their order at the window? After we finally got our food, it was not even hot. In addition, my fiancé and I felt sick, both had stomach aches, shortly after eating-- we were worried it was food poisoning, especially given the way they were operating that night. We will never order from here again.

Great take out location, so excited it opened up in the neighborhood. Their delivery and service is such a plus during the pandemic shutdown. I have already tried the sushi and the chinese take out on the menu and not disappointed! The quality is good, the portion is good, and the taste is great! I am impressed by their spider roll, dragon roll and the hand rolls. Honestly, the price is such a plus. I will be ordering from here often and excited to try other items on a lazy night!

A solid option for American Chinese food. Menu has all the 'classic' dishes plus sushi. Very nice people. Salmon lover roll - really good, liked the spice, mango was a nice touch General Tso chicken - Great. Not too sweet, a little spicy, pieces were a good size. Nice amount of broccoli Scallion pancakes - perfectly fried but not super greasy, pancake sauce was also A+ Fried rice - very light flavor; not as heavy as in some places. Could use a little more saltiness from the soy sauce. Hot and sour soup - Meh. Sang kee is still my favorite here. Too sweet, not spicy enough and not sour enough. Not bad, but not great. Hot wings - Good but they weren't like you'd get at an American bar - they were covered in a Chinese "red sauce" that was a little sweeter and corn-starchier than I expected. I would get them again though. Only downside is that they are a bit slow, but I assume they are operating on a skeleton crew due to COVID. I'll keep going because it's nice to have a nice, regular degular spot for Chinese that is middle of the road, i.e. not Han Dynasty expensive or behind bullet proof glass

Our go-to takeout spot! My boyfriend and I love this place and get it for takeout regularly. Always a reliable pickup and overall smooth ordering process. The food is also really good, love that they have sushi, soup, fried rice, noodles, chicken & broccoli, etc.. all the staple dishes. All at good prices too. Would 100% recommend if you are nearby.

Sushi sushi sushi. Just wonderful. I'm sure before the pandemic this place was always packed. But during the pandemic all of their business comes from take-out. Easy to get to and the food and so fresh. Staff is super friendly and quick to have your order ready. We liked so much we did take out 3 night in a row. Sushi is super fresh. Wonder crab Rangoon and egg drop soup. Definitely a repeat.

What a great new spot for original rolls! I went in with low expectations but the food blew me away. The dark angel (black pepper tuna) was nice and spicy, and the tri-me was flavorful and interesting. While standing at the window deciding what to get, another customer recommended the Singaporean noodles so we got that too. I'm not usually a fan of the Japanese curry flavor so I was skeptical, but this balanced the flavors so that I actually enjoyed the curry aspect. The chicken was well cooked (not too dry as often is the case in these sorts of meals) and the box was plentiful. Prices are very reasonable. Would def go again!

Great new spot on the avenue! We ordered pretty standard items for the first time trying take out from here including wonton soup, crab Rangoon, general tso's chicken, veggie lo mein and pork with garlic sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious. The pick-up window made it really easy and safe. The staff was super nice. This will definitely be our new go to place!

Lots of pros and cons. BE PREPARED FOR LONG WAITS ON WEEKEND ORDERS. We have now ordered twice on Saturdays, pick up was about a hour wait, tonight delivery and it was over a hour and a half. Generals chicken leftovers don't reheat well and the double cooked pork doesn't have a lot of pork but a lot of uncooked veggies. PROS, week day orders only take about 20 minutes, the best lo mein I've ever had (veggie) and awesome general tofu and hot/sour soup.

Friendly and fast service and super fresh and affordable sushi. I was impressed and will continue to frequent this place.

Asian Fusion is a wonderful new (established August 2020) spot in Passyunk that has an incredible selection of Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian-fusion (ha!) cuisine. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant equally as clean. The Chinese food we had (General Tso's tofu, vegetable fried rice, sesame chicken) was excellent. 5/5 stars for sure! The sushi was alright - we bought a few California rolls and were satisfied. 4/5 stars here -- the rice was a bit overwhelming. But honestly, if a restaurant can be this consistent with such a variety of Asian cuisine, then I have no qualms. This is a spot I'll be back to many times, and hopefully will rate them higher in the future!

Been back a number of times for delicious lo mien garlic chicken and an incredible assorted steamed dumpling appetizer. This little gem is right around the corner from our house and we sure hope it succeeds.

Found the perfect restaurant for the sushi and noodle dishes I love near me in south Philly!

Love this place. I live down the block and so grateful its so close and fuss free for easy take out any night. Miso soup 10/10 and the rolls are solid. (tried the spicy salmon and eel avocado both perfect.) Inexpensive and great quality. Kind people. Support this business! they deserve it.

They have really stepped up their food game. I highly recommend the Shanghai noodles.

Asian fusion is my go to chinese place! The quality and quantity is amazing for the price and I am always coming back for the hunan chicken combo dinner. Staff is also very nice and do a great job running so smoothly with such a small staff. Can't wait to try there sushi next time I go!

Family vacay in Philly. Ordered for a party of 8. Great food. Quick delivery and can't beat the price! Less than $60.

I have been looking for solid Chinese food since my go to spot shut down due to the pandemic. This hit the spot! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. I loved the dumplings. I recommend the lunch special it is a great deal!!

This spot is amazing!! We just moved to the Passyunk area and we were looking for a quick dinner to be delivered. Our order arrived within 20 minutes and the driver was so nice despite it being during a major thunderstorm. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. I got sushi and it was so fresh. My boyfriend got general tsos and said it's one of the best he's ever had! We will definitely be ordering frequently!

I can't speak highly enough of this place!!!! Hands down the best sushi in south Philly. I order from here SO much and it never disappoints. It's fresh every time and is so delicious.

Best Chinese food in South Philly by far. Everything was fresh and really tasty. We had the pizza roll, general Tso chicken, lo main, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was really good. A little bit slow.. i think literally only one person was working but it was worth the wait.

Second time ordering. This is now my go to place. Food is excellent! Delivery can take a while, so plan accordingly. You won't be disappointed, food is worth the wait. I placed order by calling the restaurant. Delivery person is very pleasant.
