Asian Yummy

Fried rice, crab rangoons and the spicy salmon roll were alright. However, the chicken wasn't chicken. After tasting the first piece, I opened the next and saw the inside. Not sure what mystery meat it is, but I don't recommend the 'chicken'.

I had ordered chicken noodle soup and I also ordered chicken fried rice. Highly disappointed the chicken is processed meat basically chunks of lunchmeat type chicken. I wish I had stop at the great wall. I never he back. I’m not into mystery meat

Visited on multiple occasions. I enjoy the fresh flavors of the food. I often order the sushi with which I am always pleased.

Noodles was so over cooked Meat was very old had a old taste to it The egg rolls an crabwragons was decent I just moved here from Oklahoma someone recommended me to go there an I won’t never spend 46 dollars on three entrees an crabwragons here again

My husband waited over an hour for our order. The food was ok. Chicken in the chicken and broccoli had a strange texture.

Tried twice. I had the fried chicken with lo mein and chicken was good for the most part and lo mein ok. Second time suggested it for lunch at work and coworkers were not impressed. I got beef and broccoli with rice. Beef and broccoli not bad but i did not like the “spanish” rice the served with it. Crab ragoons are good though but i was disappointed to see they did not serve it with sweet and sour sauce. Inside the restaurant is nice though lots of space/seating more than any other chinese place i’ve been to

I love this restaurant. This has been my fave sushi place for 5 years. At one point, I ordered delivery so often that the girl on the other side of the phone began to recognize my name, knew my order, and the delivery guy would deliver origami flowers with the food. That was my personal experience, in 2020 especially, when I always got the same people at front desk and delivery. The food is fresh and delicious also, I’ve always had a great meal and experience here. I even ate in the restaurant with a friend before and her kid spilled his drink, they were so sweet and kind about it!

Absolutely disgusting! Did not taste like Chinese food at all! I will not purchase anything from this restaurant again.

Our food was delivered fast. It was hot and fresh. Our order was perfect. Plenty of condiments and plastic ware was included, even tho we forgot to ask for it!

The food was pretty good. We got vegetable hibachi, chicken hibachi, shrimp fried rice, and a mango avocado roll. The mango avocado roll wasn't the best in my opinion. I ordered over the phone and picked it up with no problems! The portions are pretty big so expect leftovers!

Everything about Asian Yummy is AMAZING!!! The sushi and food is outstanding, and the service is always quick.

I was in the mood for some sushi on my birthday and this was one of the few places that was actually open during the afternoon. It wasn't really much to brag about. The sushi was OK. What was a big turn off was that everything was put in to-go containers even though they allowed dine in customers. The entire reason I wanted to dine in was so that I could eat sushi like you're supposed to off of a plate with chopsticks, not out of a plastic container with a little tiny dipping cup of soy sauce that I had to open out of plastic packets.

My family and I went to a local fall festival/ pumpkin patch near by and were looking for some Chinese food to get real quick and came upon this place. ATMOSPHERE: Is more of a late night spot rather then a place you'd take your whole family to. They have a lot of colorful bright strobe type lights that are constantly moving, and another bar type light that illuminates a picture up by the cashier. As we entered we were quickly greeted and seated. The staff here was very nice and patient, the service was also rather quick! We noticed quite a few DoorDash pick-ups while we were here so this must be a good option if the locals order it this often. FOOD: we ordered a few dishes that were overall satisfying, just not satisfying enough to take the leftovers. The lomein was very flavorful however the chicken had an odd texture to it, but overall pretty decent dish. My mother had the beef and broccoli combo which was a slight let down as it was pretty tough/ chewy and the flavor seemed a bit off. I had their general tso's which was fresh and crunchy, I have no complaints about this dish as it was the best one that we ordered. My wife had their "honey gold" chicken wings, and with that name we were expecting a sweet Asian style sauce, it turned out to be nothing more then some light honey mustard which my wife was not a fan of. Would we come back? I would defiantly come back under certain circumstances, it's not a place that I'd avoid but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here either, their food was OK and their prices were decent.

Nice people. Clean restaurant. Decent food and good portions. I did not like the spring rolls however I really liked the sauce on my shrimp and veggies. Rice was a tad blend but overall a good solid meal and good prices . They also have free WiFi and TVs for your use.

I often go to the grocery outlet in the same strip mall as this place and when I saw they have a buffet everyday 11-3 (I think, or 12-3), I was curious. More than once, I peeked in the window, but never really saw anything large enough to look like what I think of as a Chinese buffet. Well, today I guess I was feeling adventurous. I looked in the window, as usual and saw something that looked sort of buffet-ish, but very small back near the kitchen. I walked in to a very friendly greeting. I couldn't see the person yelling hello, but they were friendly nonetheless. As I got closer to the buffet, I realized it was a pretty large selection of sushi rolls. Excellent. I love sushi. I don't need it to be fancy or even super authentic, I just like a nice variety of interesting rolls and that is what they had. This still didn't look much like a buffet though. A woman came out, seated me, and then explained that it's a sushi buffet with hibachi. You can get hibachi with beef, chicken, shrimp or a mixture of all three. I ended up getting chicken and shrimp with lo mein (I could have had fried rice, but I'm a noodle person so that was a very easy choice). In addition to the meat and noodles, it came with broccoli, onion, and celery. I was honestly surprised how good it was. It wasn't that thick cornstarchy sauce and it wasn't sweetened at all. The noodles were different than usual lo mein noodles and for a minute, I wondered if they were homemade. At the end of my meal, I complimented the woman on the noodles and she explained that hibachi noodles are different than stir fry noodles. We had a bit of a language barrier, but I believe that was the jist of what she was telling me. After paying, the owner came out and explained more about the place and gave me a take out menu. He also assured me that they have delivery. (which was a hilarious conversation, because he was having trouble anunciating delivery and I was having a tough time understanding, but in the end, we figured it out and had a good laugh). They've been in business under this new name for about 5 months and if you've not been there, it's definitely worth a try. I will have to go back for something different, but so far so good.

We just tried this new Asian restaurant in York. The food was really good! You get big portions and it's not very expensive. The staff is really friendly! We definitely will be back!

Asian Yummy is a "Chinese take out" kinda place. Don't get me wrong. It has seating and is a very nice quiet place to get a meal when you're out. But, "Chinese take out" describes the fare. With that said, it is seriously upscale. They have the sushi, hibachi, and everything else you love about Chinese food. The food is good. Really good. I'm super happy with it every time I go. The owner and staff are super kind and energetic. I honestly feel lucky I have a place like this close to home. Most of you don't. It's a mile from my house! Brilliant! I go often. They care about the food they put out and they show genuine interest in their customers. Not sure what else you would ask for from a take out place. If you're on Yelp thinking about getting Chinese, you should go here.

Tried them for the first time tonight. We have mixed feelings but definitely will be back. Nothing we had was bad, just different then what we are used to for carry out Chinese food (which honestly could be because we're used to the food sitting for awhile before it is eaten, they're so close to home it was still hot and fresh). Major points go to them for accommodating my specialized diet and making my food specifically for me. That alone will have me returning again and again as it is difficult for me to eat at restaurants. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff very friendly. They even offered popcorn while I waited. The wait wasn't that long at all especially considering my meal was being custom made.

This place has new style sushi like we used to get on the west coast. It is absolutely awesome! The service is stupendous, and they are ever so friendly. If you are looking for very tasty sushi, you have got to try this spot.

What a great find. Delicious food and a staff eager to accomodate special orders. I've tried a number of things and absolutely everything is good. You better bring your appetite, because they load up these plates. Go-to fav!

Lunch special was fantastic, even though it was more food than I could handle. I got the General Tso option, and the serving was absolutely enormous for the price - I couldn't finish it all. The plate was artfully done as well, great attention to detail, and it's clear the workers take pride in presenting a tasteful and appetizing plate of food.

Amazing food! Wow I'm surprised and impressed! Those are the best crab Rangoons and huge egg rolls I've ever had! The beef mixed vegetables were tasty and perfectly crunchy! The chicken friend rice was moist with lots of huge chunks of chicken! The food tastes fresh and the place is clean and people are friendly and you can understand them! We will definitely be back!

Good sushi for the price. I recently moved to the area from Portland, OR and I have had some excellent sushi experiences. My son and I were nervous to try sushi in this area and because Asian Yummy had good reviews, we checked it out. The sushi was made in a timely fashion, the employees were kind and professional, and the restaurant was clean (though we ordered take out). Will definitely keep returning here for our sushi nights and perhaps to try some other menu items as well, they have a pretty large selection.

Stopped in here for the first time. I used to get take out occasionally from China Kitchen (Asian Yummy is what took it's place, with new owners). China Kitchen was decent, but Asian Yummy is definitely an upgrade. I ordered the triple delight dish, and it was served up with minimal wait, and very fresh and delicious. The girl who took my order was very pleasant and friendly. I Will be going back to try their hibachi dishes and teriyaki. They also have sushi. A welcome addition to the neighborhood, and I wish them much success.

Food was avg at best. Much better sushi and Asian at other places in York.

So bad. They sell fried tofu but I could not get it added to my lo mein. The lo mein was overcooked greasy and covered in sauce that was sweetish. The sushi was gas station quality at best. The spicy tuna roll had like sesame ginger salad dressing on it. The fried rice looked like Spanish fried rice but was ok. The eggrolls and edamame were ok. Everything else was aweful. The place I wanted to order from was closed. Next time I'll go hungry

We had a taste for good Chinese takeout and Asian Yummy delivered. Excellent food! Great price! They prepared it fast and had great customer service. We'll be back!

It's the height of COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurants still closed except for takeout, drive through and delivery. I'm at home with my kids all day everyday. Tired of cooking, and they're tired of what I make. A lot of Chinese restaurants closed. Asian Yummy is open for takeout. I ordered from this place for 1st time today. Lady who took order over phone was very nice. Place is clean. There are tables in the middle of the restaurant operating as a boundary to keep customers at a distance from the kitchen and register area. Generally, I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, & we rarely eat it even under normal circumstances. That's because it (including veggies) is fried & fattening. Right now though, I think we can treat ourselves. Back to Asian Yummy- The portions are huge. We got sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, shrimp w/ lobster sauce, beef with broccoli, house special mei fun & eel and avocado rolls. They gave us an order of crab Rangoon for free. So far, I have sampled all but the chicken teriyaki. Never had shrimp w/ lobster sauce or crab Rangoon before, and so my frame of reference is limited. The shrimp w/lobster sauce has a light, gelatinous sauce w/peas & carrots. The crab rangoon bites are rich & sweet inside. My kids' favorite is the sweet & sour chicken. The chicken pieces are fried. Who doesn't love fried chicken! Yummy in the tummy. My favorite is the beef w/broccoli. Tender beef, & broccoli is cooked just right (slight crunch but not raw). Overall, it was an excellent dining experience! My kids are loving it. Mommy just earned some points. Each dish is so big, that we will have leftovers for dinner tonight, lunch tomorrow, dinner tomorrow and probably meals for Monday. Oh, and the lady who answered the phone and took the order? She was very nice in person too. So happy right now. We needed this.

We stopped in at the grocery outlet, and my husband walked over to see the menu. Well he talked me into sushi...it was really good! We got the tuna sushi dinner but added avocado it was so fresh, not to much rice. Ohhhh and the girl gave us extra wasabi, love me some wasabi. Would definitely recommend it to a sushi lover

On a trip and stayed at nearby hotel suites. Ordered beef broccoli, sweet sour chicken, General tso chicken and shrimp fried rice...for pickup right before closing. Good customer service and food was excellent. Even better as leftovers.

I ordered the steak hibachi, eggs rolls, and crab rangoon. I asked the steak be medium rare but it was well done and obviously not a great cut of meat because it was like chewing shoe leather. However it and the vegetables were well seasoned. The crab rangoon was too sweet for me but I've been to other Chinese restaurants that make it like that so I wouldn't get it again. The egg rolls were delicious and the egg rice was good. I'd give them another try, just not for steak hibachi maybe another kind of protein.

amazing lo mein! We traveled from MD just to get this. Best we've ever had. Amazing service, very quick. Great family atmosphere. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their food. The quality food you get for the price is amazing. We will definitely be back every time we visit York.

Prices are right and the staff went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Good food, too! A little bit of everything.

Moved in the area, tried this place for the first time, great wings and fries, fried shrimp was good, garlic shrimp was great, general chicken was the worst I have ever tried, I couldn't eat it, but still it's a good place especially for wings

My boyfriend and I have come here almost right since they opened, and we have always been amazed. Their lunch buffet is crazy!!! The price is great, and you get all the (delicious) sushi you want, as well as a full heaping plate of hibachi rice/lo mein. I never fail to leave without feeling like I ate too much, but never regret it. The employees are always so friendly - we come often enough that the main customer-facing employee recognizes us - and are always working on something new. The last time I was there, there was a dessert type of sushi that I tried and was asked my opinion on (it was okay). But there's such a huge spread of sushi, from the tried and true to fried to experimental. The first time I ate here, I was legitimately worried for their business practice. It was such great food, and so much of it, at such a low price. But we always tip extra, and with the extra hiring we can already see happening, I'm guessing others do too. Tl;dr: this place is amazing, especially the lunch buffet. Please go and support this amazing place.

Ordered general tsos chicken and fried rice as well as teriyaki chicken and steak hibachi. All of the above were poorly served and very mediocre. Prices were okay but I guess you do pay for what you get. Ranch came with my salad which was highly disappointing because ginger sauce is life. Haven't even tried the teriyaki chicken yet but it's a sliced up piece of chicken. Was not impressed. Will not try again.

My fiancé wanted some spring rolls, and i was craving some lo mein, so i stopped it this place which i thought was the China Kitchen at first. I didnt realize they changed. But i was warmly greeted and well served my food but when i finally tried it, it was fresh, hot, and some of the best chinese food i ever had! The menu has all kinds of asian cuisine from lo mein, sushi, and even well priced chicken wings! Not to mention Miso Soup and tofu alternatives. Definitely 5 stars, definately coming back

I canceled my order after waiting an hour and twenty seven minutes. I was not very happy at all she told me the wait would be 30 minutes I called three times o find out where my order was and she kept telling me 5 minutes third call I canceled
