Asiatic Lion Lodge - Sasan Gir Resort and Hotel

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Asiatic Lion Lodge during our visit to Gir National Park, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and quick, which was much appreciated after a long journey. The lodge is nestled amidst beautiful greenery, giving it a tranquil and natural vibe that complements the wilderness experience of Gir. Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The decor was rustic yet luxurious, perfectly blending comfort with nature. The views from the lodge were spectacular, especially during sunrise. Dining: The food was delicious, with a good variety of local and continental dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Gujarati thali – authentic and flavorful! The dining staff was friendly and accommodating, always making sure we were well taken care of. Amenities & Activities: The lodge offers various activities like swimming pool, biking (cycling) and other activities for kids as well as for adults. Service: The service was exceptional throughout our stay. The staff was always available, polite, and eager to help with anything we needed. Overall: I would highly recommend Asiatic Lion Lodge to anyone planning a trip to Gir National Park. It’s a perfect blend of luxury and nature, offering a memorable wildlife experience with top-notch hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again!

A Perfect Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Asiatic Lion Lodge, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. The resort itself is stunning—beautifully maintained . Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Whether it was assisting with excursions or offering personalized recommendations, their attention to detail truly made a difference. The food was another standout! Every meal we had was delicious, with a great variety of options catering to different tastes. If you’re looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape, I highly recommend to stay in this resort .

A very cozy place with full of birds chirping in the morning with please atmosphere. Staffs (Nikunj, Rahul and all) are so good in their behavior, it's amazing. Room was very neat and clean with all toiletries. It's just amazed. Paisa wasool

Asiatic Lion Lodge is a wonderful place to stay at Sasan Gir. It is situated about 15-20 minutes away from the Sinh Sadan where the Safari Jeeps have to be picked up from.||||The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the property has sufficient open space for children to play around. They also organized a Siddi (Local African natives) Dance on the weekend, which was entertaining. The hotel also organizes trips to the nearby Siddi village, which is very educational and recommended.||||Since the hotel is located in the Forest Zone, the food options in the restaurant are limited, no room service is available and there is no food available after dinner, which could be a problem if you are staying up till late. ||||Overall, its a great place to stay and chill if you have a group. It offers good value for money and we enjoyed our stay here.

Deep in the heart of the forest, I discovered a tranquil oasis that exceeded my expectations. The resort's architecture blends seamlessly into the forest, making it feel like a hidden gem. if you are looking for a truly spiritual and peaceful getaway, this resort is a must-visit.

Most memorable trip we ever had in India.|Spacious rooms, luxurious toiletries, very delicious and less oily / less spicy food perfect for our group of 8 NRI friends.|Staff is very friendly and hospitable. They take extreme care for our comforts and prepared food of our choice.|For final cricket match they arranged projector screen for extra fun. Our victory spiced up with the snacks they served during match.|Resort is right in the middle of forest so we saw few peacocks and deer too. Resort is surrounded by mango trees.|The owner and managers helped us booking jeeps for safari and Pooja at Somnath temple too. They arranged Toyota Innova for airport pick up drop and Somnath sightseeing. We enjoyed a lot and the level of our contentment is beyond our expectations.|We will certainly keep staying here only for all of our future trips to Sasan Gir

Whether for relaxation or adventure, the lodge delivers an exceptional experience with impeccable service and comfort.

It was an awesome stay. The staff were very nice, humble and helpful. We used the bicycles available there for a short tour of the villages nearby. We also use the pool, which was small and sweet. ||Snehal very nicely arranged for a safari in Gir NP and we had a great sighting of 10 cubs, 3 lioness together!!||Overall a great place to be in!!!
