"Retail by the River An extensive retail selection can be found at Asiatique The Riverside. There are over 1500 boutiques housed in this huge replica warehouse complex selling souvenirs, handicrafts, jewellery and clothing, mainly from local Thai designers. With around 40 food and beverage outlets as well as Thai puppets by Joe Louis Theatre and Calypso Cabaret, one of Bangkok’s celebrated ladyboy shows, it's a fantastic place to spend an evening."

A more high-end market, clearly designed for tourists and noticeably fancier than the typical street markets in Bangkok, with higher prices to match. Beautifully located right in front of the river, which adds a special charm to the atmosphere. I lived nearby during my stay, so I visited several times. The market has a large indoor food hall and an outdoor area filled with hundreds of food kiosks. I had tom yum at one of the restaurants , it was delicious and also tried fresh fruits from the market. Overall, a very elegant and enjoyable place to explore.

Visited on a weekday evening. Not too crowded, beautiful riverside views. Food hall, restaurants, massage, local shops, souvenirs, pharmacy, beauty and more. Great finds with items not found in other shopping areas. Definitely worth checking out if you are in Bangkok.

About half the market are shops and the other half are restaurants. Some of the pricing at the shops we found here were less expensive than other larger markets. This is definitely a place you can spend several hours in exploring and finding a place for a nice dinner.

Great atmosphere even if a massive rain came when we were there, just switched tables, and we got clear of the rain. The unpredictable weather probably also contributed to less people, when we went there pretty early, luckily it wasn’t that crowded. Had a fabulous meal, lots of food, and the bill after eating wasn’t bad at all. I opted for some pork chops, that was beyond tenderly cooked, we also got some chicken wings, a delicious salad, a Margarita Pizza, and a plate with a variety of sausages! Everything was greatly cooked to perfection!

Best time to visit late afternoon, and at night. Arrived on the boat taxi, left by bus. Basically a night market for tourists, with higher prices. Modern art work, and graffiti for those Instagram-able shots. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Impressive water front views, sailing ship restaurant, ferris wheel, and carousel.

Must visit if you're a tourist like us. So much to shop from and food is plenty. Must visit Big C market. Cheaper than buying from outside vendors and merchants. Especially beer and food.

Such a fantastic spot to visit in Bangkok. You can enjoy and relax with the cool breeze coming from the river. You could see stunning views from the ferris wheel. It's about a 20-minute ride. Also, there is a haunted house, which is fun and scary. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping options too, but they are a bit expensive. Most shops are closed by 10.00 pm so make sure to go early. This place offers a vibrant atmosphere.

Such a scenic spot for an evening stroll and to just relax! It's a beautiful waterfront area with dinner boats always passing by and a lovely view of the city skyline. We visit a few times, including once to board our dinner cruise. There are some great waterfront restaurants where you can enjoy a meal with a view, plus a smaller food court inside if you're looking for more budget friendly options including ice cream and snacks. There's also some decent shopping including a miniso. Overall it's a great place to spend an evening whether you're with family, (there are rides for kids, a haunted house and a ferris wheel with an amazing view) a partner or just exploring solo.
