If there was mass tourism to Van, this place would've been in every travel guide. An amazing restaurant with affordable pricing and local dishes that you mostly won't find anywhere

I really liked Karniyrik (stuffed eggplant). Mercimek was average. It's still delicious, just not extraordinary. Tavuk sote was delicious, just oily beyond imagination.

A nice homey place to try local food. The cooked Içli köfte were to die for! And amazing filling of spicy meat and vegetables. They also have the tasty Kurdish köfte, which are not on the menu but also a must try. Good value for money.

Everything feels a bit familiar and peaceful in this restaurant. The food will totally satisfy your expectations about a home-made-food restaurant. The atmosphere is quite cozy and the staff is friendly with a smile on all the time (not a fake one I suppose).

Wonderfully delicious traditional food! The owners are kind and helpful. We loved everything we tasted, and would go back again if we stayed longer in Van. The restaurant is in a quieter part of Van, not in the noisy bustling center. It was a very good experience. Thsnk you

Excellent local eatery. If you’ve had enough of various kebaps and want to try something different than it’s the place for you. Icli kofte, stuffed aubergines and manti are delicious. The owner is super nice and speaks good English.

Friendly staff, incredibly delicious food, high level of hygiene, lowest prices for such quality menu. Strongly suggested! Do not leave Van without visiting Asiyan.
